Simon, Ndidi, Chukwueze and Onyedika should no longer receive automatic call-ups to the Super Eagles. Honestly, what have they consistently offered this team over the past seven years? We keep recycling the same players while expecting different results.

Our team seriously lacks fighting spirit, urgency and the hunger to win. I am 1,000% convinced that if it had been our first team playing against Russia, we would have lost that game after going 3–1 down instead of fighting back to draw. That comeback showed the importance of determination and character, qualities that should be non-negotiable when representing Nigeria.

The national team needs players who can deliver, make a real impact and take responsibility when it matters most. Call-ups should be based on current form, consistency, commitment and performance, not reputation or sentiment. Nigerian football needs fresh ideas, fresh energy and genuine competition for places in the team

My criticism was strictly on our protocol handling. From when the Libyans were stranded at Port Harcourt, to when the Libyan threats came. Even during the crisis, the NFF protocol team seemed lost. So I expected a thorough review on our end and strengthening of our process.

At this point, we would be stupid to limit call-ups to players who only play in the so called top 5 leagues..
The GB players that walloped us, apart from Beto, how many of their players play in the top leagues..

What we need are players who can deliver results and where they play shouldn't always be the first consideration..

If we bring them in and they deliver, they will get moves to better clubs..

Right now, we should throw away our ego and go get players that are the right profiles and who can deliver

The “top five league” myth success has been bursted since ..I I don’t believe in it.we av seen several players playing outside the top 5 leagues performing excellently well in competitions

the same pitch you and your opponent is playing is not an excuse to lose,
getting a draw is ok,but losing to an opponent you are way superior because of pitch is unacceptable.

Since they discovered that the pitch was bad,if they were serious enough, they should have came up with new strategy to get a result,or at least not being disgraced.

From close quarters,Dey had to beg most of the players to play on dt pitch ;now imagine d performance. Furthermore some players even refused outrightly… you can’t expect top commitment from professionals on injury-prone pitch


Play d same match on a good flowing pitch and we won’t even draw dt match ..Guinea Bissau will collect

Why do the Super Eagles play so well during major tournaments but consistently struggle during qualifiers? We easily thrashed teams like Uganda and Mozambique in the last AFCON, yet if we faced them right now in a qualifier, we would likely struggle to beat them.
We desperately need to get to the bottom of this issue because it is completely obvious that the problem goes much deeper than just the coaches and the players

I can say 60percent of d reason is more of pitch issues …I have been saying it for a very long time aside d management issue..check games where we struggled to beat dis “minnows” or where we were defeated,it was mainly more of pitch issues
