The next time the viewer gets the “itch” for more sexual pleasure, small packets of dopamine are released in the brain, telling the user: “Remember where you got your fix last time. Go there to get it.”
Norepinephrine is also released, creating alertness and focus. It is the brain’s version of adrenaline. It tells the brain, “Something is about to happen, and we need to get ready for it.”
Sex and porn also trigger the release of oxytocin and vasopressin. These hormones help to lay down the long-term memories for the cells. They “bind” a person’s memories to the object that gave him or her sexual pleasure.
The body releases endorphins, natural opiates that create a “high,” of pleasure throughout the whole body.
After sexual release, serotonin levels also change, bringing a sense of calm and relaxation.
This system works the way it is supposed to work when you’re having sex with your spouse. Together, you can experience a high, an alertness of sexual pleasure, and a deep calm afterward (norepinephrine, endorphins, and serotonin). With each sexual embrace, you are emotionally bonding to this person (oxytocin and vasopressin). Over time, a craving for sex is transformed into a desire for one another (dopamine).

Something very similar happens when your brain is “on porn.” Porn activates the same pleasurable chemicals in your brain that make sex so enjoyable and meaningful. Ahead of the November 7th Congress of the People's Democratic Party, Nasarawa State chapter, delegates from Nasarawa, Toto, Keffi, Karu and Kokona local governments have thrown their weight behind the candidature of Hon. Francis Osowena Enokela Orogu, to continue as the State Working Committee Chairman.
Their decision was predicated on his achievements as the Party chairman.

As the opposition chairman, he was able to secure seven seats in the state House of Assembly out of the 24 members. And it was during his reign that PDP came very close to clinching the governorship seat. He has always challenged the government of the day. He has ensured discipline in the party. No single member of the party is bigger than the party. This is coming barely two weeks after the delegates from across the state converged in Akwanga to unanimously endorsed him for a second term.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will on Saturday 7th November, conduct a State Congress in the State to elect Executive Members following the expiration of the tenure of the Francis Orogu led committee.

Congress is expected to take place at a soon to be announced location where delegates will elect leaders for the party.
Hon. Francis Orogu is the party’s preferred and adopted candidate for the Chairmanship position.

The party had before the widespread of the COVID-19 pandemic, conducted the wards and local government congresses.

Rt. Hon. Davematics David Emmanuel Ombugadu, the governorship candidate of the party in the last general elections, urged party faithfuls to unite and put behind them any primordial sentiment in order to build a formidable structure. According to him, this is not the time for litigations, rather, this is the time for us to heal the wound of the past. This is the time for us to build and bring our ideas to the table for us to move our beloved party forward.
We should be building bridges in this state and not burning them.

Nasarawa State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended former FCT Minister, Senator Solomon Ewuga and the 2019 deputy Governorship candidate of the party, Hon Muhammed Onawo.

Its Publicity Secretary Muhammed Umar Bwala who stated this in a statement in Lafia said former Minister of Justice Musa Elayo was also suspended indefinitely by the party.

According to him: “The State Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa state has met today, 25th March, 2020 to take far reaching decisions after a joint session with Members of State Elders Forum.

” That owing to the role of some PDP elders in sponsoring crisis within the party and engaging in act of gross misconduct, Senator Solomon Ewuga , Hon. Musa Elayo and Hon. Muhammed Onawo are hereby suspended from the party” he said

He explained that they are to also face disciplinary standing Committee of the party for their actions.

Our correspondent gathered that the suspended key members of the party has been having running battle with the state chairman of the party, Mr Francis Orogo who is seeking for a second term in office as chairman of the party.

It was also gathered that the PDP governorship candidate of the party in the 2019 election, David Umbugadu and Senator Sulieman Adokwe are strongly supporting the return of Orogo as party chairman.

Orogo had strongly supported Umbugadu to emerge the party’s governorship candidate in 2019 against Senator Ewuga.

The state chairman is also believed to have frustrated the aspiration of Muhammed Onawo to pick the Nasarawa south senatorial ticket of the party in 2019 in favour of Senator Sulieman Adokwe.

But speaking to our correspondent on phone, Senator Ewuga said there are processes of suspension which they didn’t follow.

“It is a breach of right to fair hearing and fundamental human right of an individual, I’m just hearing it and no body has served me with a letter to that effect,” he said

He explained further that the election of party officials in the state executive is not an affirmation and everybody has the right to support the candidate of his or her choice.

“It is an election and not affirmation , that is what democracy is all about, it is not a military era, so everybody should subject himself to an election,” he said

Honourable davematics as he is fondly called, has made it crystal clear that quality representation with good intentions are the hallmarks of his leadership while implementation with integrity is his core passion.

It was Maya Angelo who opines that "I've learned that people will forget what you said; people will forget what you did, but will never forget how you made them feel", today the honourable member is living up to his promises. He hasn't dashed the hopes of his people neither has he betrayed their trust/faith reposed in him.

The Honourable has scored so many goals, shown and displayed deft moves and passes, and as a good striker that he is and will always be, leading other passionate players in the game, he is headed for a convincing and unassailable victory, in spite of the hard opposition tackles come 2019.
Through a focused and pragmatic leadership skills, he has kept his eyes on the ball and going for the goal.

Through the timely intervention of the Honourable member, we can all attest to the fact that the famous College of Education, Akwanga is wearing a new look and is being upgraded to the standard of a University. It was through his lobbying prowess in the house that most of the TETFUND projects were channelled to the college. No wonder the college can now boast of standard structures that can compete with any institution of higher learning in the country. The college also has a state of the art ICT unit, a thriving transport system, an e-library, a modern clinic to be commissioned soon and a lot more to come.
The Honourable believes students are our most priced assets, and their future must be guaranteed today for the challenges of tomorrow by providing them with an enabling environment to learn that's why he has provided scholarship to law students as well as encouraged academic excellence with incentives.

ON JOB CREATION , the Honourable has trained a lot of youths in various areas to equip them with the requisite skills for the job and the opportunities of the 21st century. He has secured jobs for some in the Nigerian army, Nigerian immigration Service, Nigerian Prisons Service, NIMC, National Tuberculosis and leprosy Centre, NDLEA, NEPA, CBN etc.

HEALTH THEY SAY IS WEALTH and the Honourable member understands that, that's why over the years, he assembled a team of doctors and organised Free Medical Outreach.
The free medical outreach has gone a long way in providing succour to our people who can not afford quality health care services in conjunction with the National Agency for the Control of AIDS, NACA.
At the programme thousands of people were screened and surgeries performed.
Intervention items to health institutions in the zone were also provided. He recently engaged in the construction of four Ultra Modern PHC Clinic across the zone as well as an Ultra Modern Emergency Theatre Complex in Alushi.

ON AGRICULTURE, the honourable member coming from an agrarian background and knowing fully well that some of the richest people in the world today, are farmers. The Honourable member embarked on the distribution of fertilisers to farmers in the zone.
The Honourable has over the years, distributed over 2400 bags of fertilisers to his constituents, he also distributed pesticides and insecticides. No wonder he is the farmer's choice!

Provision of eleven motorised boreholes and over 230 hand-driven ones too, to alleviate the problem of Water Supply, thus providing his people with portable drinking water. He recently launched the biggest water project in Sub Saharan Africa, tagged #ProjectWaterForAll where he intends to provide 1500 boreholes across the State.

ON ELECTRICITY, through the Rural Electrification Project, the honourable member has provided respite to his constituency by procuring 15 brand new (500kva) transformers to boost power supply. More so, the Honourable member has before now, procured a 15mva injection substation transformer in Nasarawa Eggon, (The biggest so far in the State) while another 7.5MVA was provided to the People of Wamba. The electrification of Mada Station, Igga and Tabu is ongoing. As a man of his words, he has since been living up to expectations!

As an IT guru himself, the Honourable member knows the place of ICT in the 21st century that's why he provided ICT centres in Wamba, COE Akwanga, Igga, Ikka/Wangibi in Nasarawa Eggon respectively. The youths are expected to leverage on this laudable offers.

The workaholic Honourable is also always busy on the floor of the house, arguing and debating on how best to improve the standard of living of the very people he's representing. He's also done incredibly well on his various oversight functions.

These are just but a few of the Giant Strides of the Honourable member representing Akwanga, Nasarawa Eggon and Wamba Federal Constituency. No other Reps does it better!
