I read on this thread about someone who schooled in Benin Republic being asked by ukvi to provide police clearance certificate from Benin. I also schooled in Benin. But, I figured PCC is only given to Benin citizens and not outsiders.

I'm planning on calling UKVI to inquire what to do in a situation where Benin PCC can't be accessed. I still have previous passport from 2014 that shows boader stamps from both Benin and Nigeria, if this would pass.

What do I do please?

Were you asked to submit Police Clearance? No.
So why are you bothered?
You guys should not make things difficult for yourselves by yourselves. That person applied for a different tier of visa. I don't know why he/she brought tier 2 issue to tier 4 thread but that's by the way.
UKVI barely ask for Police Clearance for tier 4 visa.

My hubby and I did registry few days to when he got his visa. So because of the restriction of waiting for 3 months before including it on his biodata he couldn’t add it
He left for the UK afterwards.
Now it’s over 3 months, please how do we include that he is married so I can be his dependent?

Good morning wonderful people. I will like to be clarified on this. This POF can be so disturbing. Can someone in the status of a Local Government Chairman or Secretary to the local government or probably a member of state house of reps issue applicants a sponsorship letter in place of POF?
Or are there specified cadre of politicians allowed to do so?

No politician's letter will be honoured by the UKVI in place of POF. No one cares about your political position in the UK. It's not Nigeria. Just get the money ready or be sponsored by a government agency or an international company.

I'm still confused is the date of application the day you paid the application fee or the day you submitted your biometrics, because I have seen several people say it is the biometrics day while on UKVI website is the day you paid the application fee.

There's no such thing on the website. Your days begin from the day you do your biometrics.

I just said your parents can sponsor you both. It is not safer. You didn't have money to sponsor yourself and in a couple of months, you miraculously want to sponsor your spouse.
Does that make any sense to you?

You started it. You started judging the situation based on this little experience you have. I did not judge or come to conclusion. I gave you an instance. You made a conclusion that it can never happen in Abuja. Abi you dey shift goal post?

And I gave you a scenario and you are saying last year? I thought you know a lot about Abuja IOM or TLS.

And you can't still jump to conclusions because you don't know about tomorrow and you are not working there. someone can come here and complain Abuja.

Last year during my biometrics people where sent home due to the crowd. I was meant to do my biometrics around 10am but I finally did my at 3pm. Then there was interview. That's when they stopped this interview thing. I was part of the last set (except they have brought it back). Some people they did not call them back but they got their visa.

I have not heard of anyone been sent home from ABJ TLS. The worst case is maybe on Fridays when they don’t attend to WalkIn ppl. I did mine there and I have dropped off and picked 5 of my friends there too. I was there on Friday and they attended to maybe 6 or 7 walkins that were there early and asked the rest to come back on Monday.

I don't know what that babe is saying sha but my personal experience was what I talked about earlier. Not they said or he said...
Let me burst your head with my timeline.
I was at IOM on Friday by 7am to do change of address on my certificate. They told me they don't do that on Fridays. I stayed back, picked a number for Enquiry and went in. Got the same response from the enquiry guy. I begged, he told me to go and beg Hawah. I went to Hawah and begged, after much begging they decided to do it for me because it was only me that came for such. By 12pm I was out of IOM with my new certificate and headed for Wuse to buy dollars to fund my account for visa fee payment as I had used the one I had put there for someone's. 1:34pm, I was out of the bank after depositing the money and headed to TLS. 2:06pm, I was at TLS and they said no more walk-in that I should come back on Monday, except I shake body and someone would attend to me. That all walk-in was done in the morning. I obliged. They called someone that came downstairs and took me in. 5:20pm, I was out of TLS, biometrics done and dusted.
All in one day.
You can't try that in Lagos, not even in 10 years time.

Walk-in doesn't need date, closer or farther. I submitted my application on Friday, got appointment for 13th January, 2022 for self service/standard, I went to TLS same day and paid for walk-in and did my biometrics that day. I went to TLS by 2 in the afternoon and left around 5 in the evening. Primetime won't allow you that luxury, to the best of my knowledge.

Your booster shot is June o! Don't take it before then, except you want to kill yourself. I don't know about test centers, I only know in Abuja.

People hardly use this option since nobody talks about. That walk in is not easy

People hardly use it because it is not as fast as walk-in. You'd be given appointment and you'd have to go on the appointment date and it's usually days after your booking, it varies. But walk-in is fast, your appointment can be next month and you do walk-in tomorrow.

You MUST provide the refusal letter o! If you don't, they will not issue you with a CAS. If you have money and can't provide the refusal letter, start processing Derby University - that's if they do not do credibility interview before CAS. If they do, there's every likelihood that it'd be the same case. You can then ask Coventry for a refund.

Take a flight to Abuja and do it. You can even go there by 9 in the morning and still do it.

There is a part of the visa application that states...see the attached photo.

I don't know about your circumstances but I have filled visa application for about 8 people and I met that section in all.

So I think you need to upload it, no matter what your CAS says. You have absolutely nothing to lose if you upload it, and might have something (time) to lose if you don't and the UKVI sends you a mail requesting for it.

My school, Manchester Met. held a Pre-departure virtual meeting with us on Wednesday and the International Recruitment Manager told us she was in a meeting with UKVI and they confirmed that it will be reintroduced in Nigeria in 1 or 2 weeks. This 1 or 2 weeks from Wednesday is towards the end of December.
