Dude, they just know what they're doing how? I have been seeing your comments and complaints and I'm sorry you're going through this. But here is the truth, there is no amount of complaints you drop here that would make the UKVI return your passport if it is lost. Here is what I suggest you do - talk to your sponsor and propose you getting another passport so they can do another COS with that one and submit to UKVI. You can suggest it to UKVI either by yourself or by your sponsor before you do the passport. Through your sponsor would be better and more effective/persuasive I think. Since your visa has been approved and they can't locate your passport, they might agree to put the visa in the new passport and cancel the one that can't be found. You're the one it's affecting, focus and see how you can smartly navigate this.

Yes, it's possible to cancel the visa when you're already in the UK. Even permanent resident visa can be cancelled. Make sure you have money that covers your own expenses in the account you presented for your own visa because they most likely would request for it.

Why not send a mail and tag it "Urgent" ? They will respond to you and give u a date. Pple r usually too much. My sis had an appointment for 8am yesterday. Finished and waited for the result. She left by 600pm.
And she said they were clearly attending to those on appointment and those without appointment were told to write their names and hold on.

So I joined the hunt to get uk study visa around September and I realize there are tonnes of information one needs to get things done. I was very lucky to stumble upon this page as I have read from the very first page to the current one and I keep up as many times as possible everyday.

I have gone through the process of finding a school for myself, applying (Mada a mistake _gist later), getting admission, get my CAS, filled my VISA application. All done without asking a single question here. And all information I needed was somehow provided here. Of course with a little bit of Google.

I learnt early on, anything that has to do with a particular school, one should direct the question to the school. You will be surprised the kind of questions people ask their respective schools and the schools are willing to provide answers.

So firstly, people should desist from ask what school to pick. Your best answer can be obtained using Google. Instead of asking about school fees here, check the school's course page. All info of a course and whatnot are on the website. Unless you're lazy, stop asking questions about what school to pick. It's your decision to make.

Secondly, I realize UKVI website has tones of info especially with regards to VISA and your status as an immigrant. And these info are pretty straightforward. Let us learn to read by ourselves.


Now my contribution to this thread will be that when filling your visa application, fill it and check and recheck and recheck and recheck then go to bed, wake up and check again. Just to ensure you have filled the right details. Do these right before you go to IHS page.. Again, learn to read everything you're presented.. I can't stress that enough.. READ!. One wrong detail can be the reason you're denied. Also all the documents you need should be uploaded.

This thread has been a blessing to me and I hope to share updates on my progress subsequently. God bless

Background information:
I'm applying for Masters in Public Health in the UK. I will be moving with hubby and three kids. I work as a freelancer on Upwork with at least $500 monthly. I'm positive that being outside the shores of this country will help me earn more online since clients prefer people in Europe. I will work offline while I study too.
Hubby will apply for study visa too after I'm done with my one year plus two years psw and we can pursue our residency.
My Dilema:
Hubby is skeptical about moving with everyone since we will be selling off our properties to make this move.
He's suggesting that we take the Canada route but the processing is a big headache for me. I'm opting for UK because of the ease of gaining admission and processing.
I will like to know if moving with three kids and selling off our assets is a good move or not. Thanks for your anticipated responses.
