Visa Alert!!!

Applied for Admission (with depression) - 24th November after Middlesex denied me CAS. That's a story for another day.

Admission granted - 30th November.

Applied for CAS - 11th December.

CAS issued - 16th December.

Applied for Visa - 17th December.

Biometrics - 17th December, Abuja TLS (Walk-in).

Paid Mail - 1st January... replied the next day, no decision made.

Paid Mail - 5th January... replied the next day, no decision made.

Paid Mail - 10th January... replied the next day, decision has been made. I became more nervous. Hehehe.

Collection Mail - 12th January... shipped with DHL that same. DHL literally crawled to Asaba from Abuja.

DHL Delivery - 14th January, 11:30 GMT+1. Visa granted.

Documents submitted - Transcript, Degree Certificate, POF, TB Test Certificate, NECO, CAS, Work Reference, HSE Certificates, Passport.

No NSF Mail.

Two refusals declared - Canada visit and Poland study.

Here is what I'd tell you all. If you don't have time to read every page on this thread, then this process isn't important to you. I don't want to hear your reason, if it is important, you'd make time for it. I came here when it was 508 pages and I read every of the pages (made screenshots) to the current page. I got everything I needed from here. People now pay me to even fill their visa applications and do admission processes for them because I seem like an expert. Just by reading thoroughly. Read o! Read! Stop looking for who'd spoon-feed you. Read! Search for schools, send them emails, call them to make enquiries, they're always happy to help from my experience.

I applied to 19 schools. 17 gave me admission, 2 are yet to make a decision (good luck to them), some conditional (IELTs), others unconditional. I left others and chose Middlesex before they tried to kill me by denying me CAS after 2 interviews - failed the 1st, passed the 2nd but they said my 2nd responses conflicted with the 1st. This happened on the 24th of November, same day I applied to Manchester Met - 5 days to Manchester Met's closing date for admission.

Your Personal Statement has to be very convincing. That was my selling point, I think! My inbox is filled with emails from different schools because I like to get the information directly from them.

For those that are yet to apply, include your work reference(s) and a detailed CV to your application. A CV cannot stand in for work reference(s). It is not mandatory but it will save you a lot of stress and/or time. Appointment letter is not really needed in my opinion. A letter of introduction from your employer covers that. If you need a format of such letter, just send me a message. You don't lose anything by including those in your application. However, you have everything to gain.

I don't believe in any god so for me, this is about doing the right thing, and not by praying to anyone.

Good morning all. The POF for my wife’s visa is in my account with a letter from the court stating that the money will be used for her schooling. She is the principal applicant and I will accompany her. Will this scale true for her visa application?

You should provide her with a letter of consent that states you are allowing her to use the money in your account for her studies.

In fact, my university confirms the problem is peculiar to UBA. I was at the bank when the mail drop I quickly show them. so that they can see their international review.

There has to be a way of knowing the outcome of someone's application when they say decision has been made before the passport arrives. There has to be a refusal email if an application is refused.
So people can sleep well pending their passport arrival after that “We cannot discuss the outcome of your application on-line or by telephone.”

They denied you CAS just because you were denied a US visa? How? Did they request for the refusal letter? What school is that?

They say closer dates are opening up at VI so try to book an appointment on the website.

Congratulations! Your visa is ready. That's what it means. Just book your flight already.

What kind of parameters cos I paid 1200 for main applicant and dependants. It surprising that some people paid less.

Is your health condition the same with everyone else's? No.
Are your circumstances the same with other people's? No.
Why is it surprising that you paid a price different from what someone else paid for IHS?

It won't. Your old passport number is on the data page of the new one. However, try to write a letter in that regard pointing it out. This is to avoid the ECO missing it and thinking it's not yours. They're humans you know.

Please guys
You can land in any airport in the UK and take a train/bus to the location you gave on your form. There is no problem with this.
I landed in Heathrow, took train to Birmingham New Street train station and Uber to where I isolated for 10days.
My friend came before me but she took a bus because she didn't have plenty load.
The Koko is: go from airport straight to your isolation address by whatever means and don't come out until your isolation ends. Cest Fini. Lets stop scaring eachother

And she used Uber.

This is confusing. My flight stops at London. Then I plan getting a train to another town where I will isolate. That's the address I plan using on my passenger locator form.

Here is what you should do.
Fly to Birmingham, if they ask you why your locator form is London and you land in Birmingham, tell them London flights were way too expensive. You can use a public bus. Nobody would stop you. You can even book the bus from here to make it easier. Buses go from the airport to your location so you can board a bus from the airport to London. Nobody would stop you. Go to London and isolate there. It is not a problem. My friend went from Heathrow to Birmingham in a bus and no one stopped her. I booked the bus for her sef.
Alternatively, you can cancel that your ticket and apply for a refund if you have another money to book another ticket before they refund you. The refund might take up to 12 weeks.

This here is not true. I don't believe you searched anywhere.

I think paying additional deposit to the school's account will contradict the amount paid mentioned on your CAS after you must have received CAS statement. This might inturn affect your VISA application as what is stated on your CAS is different to what you would be presenting. IMO

He or she should talk to her school after making the payment for them to update the CAS. It is better that way.

Instead of paying in the 800k to your account, you may want to pay it to your school instead. That way, the 10.2M in your account will suffice as you would have increased your initial tuition deposit.

It is actually a good thing if you get NSF mail. It means that they want to give you visa but need that particular document/information to be sure. Send the document/information and your visa is assured, I guess.
