Guru’s what can I do to make best use of my time while waiting? I was hoping to use priority but as it’s been suspended I’ll use standard. My course start date is Jan 24th, although i have everything else ready my POF won’t be ready till Jan 4th. I have also been trying to book IOM Abuja online so at least I can do my TB test while waiting but I can’t find any dates. Is it okay for me to wait till I’m ready to apply then just go to Abuja IOM do TB test and then biometrics between 4th and 6th ? Is it possible to do it without booking ? Also I called my school they said they allow late arrival for up till two weeks as long as I inform them duly. But I don’t know reading you guys messages I’m wondering if I’m already too late

Don't worry too much.
Try to book your TB Test at midnights, you'd find dates. Alternatively, try to use a laptop connected to a broadband, mobile internet can be slow sometimes. I booked for my friend this morning and got January 17th for him, he'd then go to IOM on Monday and reschedule. I was at IOM yesterday and they told me they find it difficult to attend to email requests because there are tons of emails. So many people won't get their email requests attended to this period. And for them to be able to reschedule you for appointment, you must have booked an appointment and gotten a reference number or gotten an error message while trying to book. This is the latest development for IOM Abuja.

For visa application, priority will be reintroduced in Nigeria towards the end of December, according to UKVI.
So, don't worry. Don't let the messages bother you, you'd meet up, considering your program start date and the late arrival window.

I agree the correct answer is NO. I also answered no on my own application. However, my friend filled YES and was issued Visa. He even advised I should fill Yes. I turned it down because I was convinced it should be NO. That was before his Visa came out
Nevertheless, I believe the correct answer is NO.

The correct answer is actually No, for someone who hasn't lived in the UK or applied for a resident visa there before.

I am trying to console my friend here.
He filled Yes in picture 1 question rather than No. This is the 1st time he's applying for a UK Visa.
I just showed him mine which is picture 2 and he's been mourning all day.

My question is, has anyone made this type of mistake and gotten a visa? Is it negligible having submitted a copy of his CAS too and English Language ability highlighted there?

1. Should he cancel the application and submit another?

2. Should he contact UKVI via paid mail or call, and inform them?

3. Should he relax?

@Justwise, @Aprokodaughter and anyone with this kinda experience should please give an insight on this.

Once a country enters UK red list, priority and super priority visa services in that country get suspended.
Until Nigeria is removed from the red list, there is no priority service.

If anyone doesn’t remember me, I will introduce myself briefly and will encourage some1 to click on my profile name to read a lot about me.

Some weeks ago, I was the person that was asking a question on behalf on my friend that I said he travel to UK and become overstayer for at least 4 years, did Judicial Review-one was successful while the other was unsuccessful and out of the unsuccessful Judicial Review, Home Office certify one decision as “clearly unfounded claim” but now God has done it for me.

In order words, I was the one that was disguising as my friend-you can click on my username and see more about me.

In short, with my overstayer in the UK for 4years and certified decision and JR, I put in my application for an entry clearance as a Tier 2 worker migrant (skilled worker/health and care worker) on the 8th of December 2021. The timeline are as follows:

Tier 2 (Health and Care Worker Visa) application submitted on the 8/11/21
Biometrics done on the 16/11/21
Application transferred & received by DMC on the 16/11/21
Application transferred to VAC 29/11/21
Application received by VAC 3/11/21
Passport with 3 years visa received by me on the 3/11/21. In fact I didn’t wait for the collection mail before I went there today. I arrived at 2pm, check in and received my passport with my visa

NOTE: All I will advised to people in my shoes that are U.K. overstayer with an entry ban is to return home in time, give home office about 3-5 years before you make an entry clearance application and be truthful in your application and please do not lie. Lying is not good and gather all your material evidence in order.

NOTE 2: A bit of warning to those that do mock people in this forum regarding their status, I will continue to say they are not God and they cannot know what God have for you. I can remember one person in this particular forum that mock me and say a lot of things about my UK immigration history but I told the person he/she is not my God and finally the God that I served have done it for me today and by special grace of God I will be among those that will be in the UK. God once again I thank you, you are so good to me and my family.

NOTE 3: A big appreciation to @ Bourne007, he/she is a wonderful and great person to me. He/she even asked me to obtain my SAR (subject access request) immigration history from the UKVI, which I did but till today I didn’t receive it till I applied for my visa application and received my passport today. I pray that as you meet my need my God almighty will also continue to meet your need and that of your family IJN. I am really grateful personally to you ma/sir.

If you're going to Middlesex University, get ready for a very serious Visa Credibility Interview by the ISAT. If you fail this interview, no CAS for you.
Attend their Open Evening events and Visa Credibility Preparation webinars for insights. Know about your course modules, your plans after study, your whys, the school and its facilities, your budget and your commute to school from wherever you may live, your source of fund, etc. If you have had any visa refusal, make sure you have the letter because they'd ask for it and if you don't get it to them, no CAS.

For Abuja TB test, you don't need to wait till your appointment time to go there. The time of your appointment is inconsequential. It's very important that you're there as early as 07:00 at least on your day of appointment.

If you have or can get a domiciliary account, buy dollars at the black market and fund the account, and pay using the card linked to the account. It is cheaper than Flutterwave.
Although the difference isn't much, reportedly. But of course, "much" could be subjective.

Then for someone that asked if they break up, that shouldn’t be a problem couples divorce too but I think the dependant’s visa/stay would be cancelled immediately such is reported officially, This makes the dependant in such case appear like a subject but I think the would be main applicant should try to give their would be dependants some soft landing in such cases ...

You do realize that the Nigerian law doesn't permit Civil Partnership right?
The UKVI didn't talk about girlfriend on their website.
In Nigeria, you're either married or you're single. You can't do UK dependant visa for a girlfriend from Nigeria. Unmarried partner is Civil Partnership. Our law does not recognize it.
