Avoid it like a plague. They’ve been refusing a lot of people with MFB statement since July with the reason that they were unable to contact the banks...I think this is a deliberate act as they think many people who use MFBs for statements borrow this funds...So by all means avoid it!!! Use a regular commercial Bank.

It is not a deliberate act. People use Microfinance Banks, as long as it is regulated by the CBN, it qualifies for use for visa application. The problem is that some of the banks do not respond to UKVI's verification on time or at all. When they don't get responses, they deny the application.
Is it commercial bank users that don't borrow funds? Very funny.

POF must be in d main applicant account till visa is out ..letz be careful please, people's future is at stake.

No, No, No. If she’s the student and main applicant, the POF must be in her account or her parents account; it can’t be in yours even if you’re her spouse. Take note and avoid her getting a visa refusal!! Read up on page one of this thread.

This is not true. It can be in your spouse's account, even if the person isn't the main applicant. Read page 1 of this thread.

Calm your nerves and get the PSW then you are as free as bird to do any business you want.

It's for a dependant that is a doctor, I think. It means the person can't work as doctor but can do other non-professional jobs full-time. He'd not become a professional athlete either.

Take note I did not say it was gonna be easy I only said it is possible. Trust me I have juggled really difficult things in my life while studying I am not afraid of challenges anymore. "Where there is will there is a way". Let's stay positive guys.

Plus studying in the UK is same whether online or offline. It's just a series of papers, workshops, presentations and seminars. You must be prepared to do a lot of research and writing. If you manage your time properly you can succeed.

Additionally choosing a course of study where you have strength can give you a head start. But choosing a course you know nothing about sets u at a disadvantage already.

As long as your passport is valid, nobody will place any court document of identification above your passport in the international sphere. Do not argue what you do not know.

Oh thank you for the info but there was a transaction showing of an out flow of deduction a said amount which shows on bank statement that the balance droped though the same amount was put back that same day though . Do you think it must have affected the 28days cos my feelings is that the money was still put back that same day ....what's your say on this ....

The name on his passport is his identity and passport supersedes any other form of identification in the global space. He'd have to bear that name on his passport and get affidavit for other documents with a different last name.

My husband changed his surname recently and he has his old surname on his passport, though we’ve sword affidavit as regards the change of name and we are trying so hard to even effect the surname on the passport, but the time frame we are being given is quite too long and it would affect our visa processing. To be on a safe side, do no transaction there. Leave the money there. Except you know the transactions won't affect the required amount.

Well I haven’t gotten the visa in my hand, but got BRP mail. I used two accounts, but I wrote an introductory note as the first page of my bank statement, explaining that there are two accounts attached. So it’ll not be like the case officer missed it.

I think the issue is usually that case officers fail to scan through all the pages fully, and hence miss the second one.

So I explained to them very well, to avoid stories that touch.

I applied for Uk visiting visa via an agent ( who suggested I input all information to match the application such as age reduction to suit my dependency ). Unfortunately the visa was rejected. Now this is 2021 and I intend to apply using my own information,please advice on how I will go about it.
