So what should i do or include to convince him?

@justwise, I got my refusal letter this morning. I critically explained the irregularities with my monthly payment in my cover letter which was acknowledged by the VO, so i still dont know the exact reason for the refusal.

Kindly explain how best to tackle this and how soon can i apply

U don't have to go with any documents however documents will not be accepted from you at TLScontact if u have chosen self service. Please ensure all the supporting documents are uploaded , reviewed and submitted before or on the appointment dates. A lot of people were asked to reschedule another appointment dates because they realised one or two documents were not submitted. I saw an elderly woman who was willing to pay extra to upload her account statements but she was asked to schedule another appointment date. I felt her pain that day as she was helpless. Please ensure all the necessary supporting documents are uploaded, reviewed before submission as strongly advised on the website. I did self service too and it was quick and fast during submission as the need for sorting documents has been avoided. I hope this is informative enough.

You'll have to upload your docs according to the relevant segment they fall into... If u click on each segment, it will show the type of docs expected.
Any other doc that does not fall into the given segments should be uploaded under 'Other'.
Also, you'll have a chance to preview before submitting once they've converted it to their format

please if you upload docs using self service , do you still need to go along with it during biometrics ?

i have an account i use for my side hustles , have a shop, tricycle and money comes into it monthly, the issue is that it's not fixed and its not a registered business . Can i attach the account with my salary account .

I work with a financial institution with income of 117k monthly. Annual of 1.9m. (As stated in the embassy reference letter sent to me from d office) including other incentives like upfront, 13th month n all dat. I also have a registered company as side business which i make up to 100k monthly.So let's just put it I make 200k monthly.

So in d form they asked ' what is my total monthly income from all sources.
I have 1.2m in my salary account as savings, 250k in another account n 300k in my business account. ( I have products in my show glass worth like a million) my Biz offers product sales n services.

U suggested I submit my cac certificate n bank statement to support my documents. I haven't paid any tax anyway so no tax clearance

I have some shares certificates I will submit as well alongside my car documents

Ans : yes USA 2017 but I can't remember the reason in that blue paper. I was so angry to even read it. Maybe no travel history then so I went to Dubai.

Q4: Will not paying tax impose a problem. Its just an enterprise company anyways

If you have been refused unjustly and you think the eco wasn't fair enough.. I advise u don't reapply.. Just go for judicial review.. You have no right to appeal or administrative review but a good immigration lawyer can work magic. I got mine overturned today.

I dont think this is a good idea. Oyinbo would question why your sister want to invite you, your hubby and the kids at the same time only to become a burden to her, and then again your hubby is not working.

I want to assume you have no intentions of coming back to Nigeria after your visa is expired. I will suggest you go first with your daughter, balance up a little then hubby can join later.

By the way, I already got my visa and in doubt of how to settle in the North American country. Is your sister single?

Ok then I think it will be easier to reapply now, because you've gone through the process before; it'll also be cheaper. However you'll need to find out how much it cost to reapply for your transcript, and please use ICES in order to avoid WES wahala.

I started with one crook in July, and it was hanging until last month I met another person who assisted me and it got to WES on Nov 2nd. The funny thing was that my application was hijacked by someone in exams and records, and the first guy didn't even know what was happening, until the new guy took me to the office, and it got delivered 3 weeks after.

To be honest, I can't really advice which order to do it.
In my case, I wasn't too confident that my school (foreign university) would respond so I didn't pay intially. What I did was that I created an account on the ICES portal, then I contacted my school with the ICES reference number. I only made payment after my school had confirmed that my transcripts had been sent to ICES.

would adopt this method. Naija schools can be headache

Hello FAM, i want to make payment for my ECA using ICES. I was told using online application that one requires a Credit Card and not debit. How do one go around this as most of the cards here are Debit Cards

It's painful what you are currently experiencing, the truth is that there are lots of folks currently passing through this . Our culture structure is extended and hence all this issues . But you need to plan for yourself also,or is your family saying they won't survive if anything happens to you(heaven forbids ), you have come of age and need to plan for your future .

I would advise you start saving at least 50-100k of your salary on a monthly basis, you can do a direct debit with one of this investments houses and start plan.

And the best way to achieve this is to come up with a story to your folks that some of your colleagues were downsized and those whom were left, their salaries were slashed

Then have a target amount you can help your family with on a monthly basis and the rest for your self.
