Might be true cos living in Bonny Island is very expensive,infact without missing words I think Bonny Island should be one of the most expensive places in this country.So their pay should be high to offset the high cost of living.

Are u sure,becos I've been following this thread for a very long time now and did not see any info as regards NITDA scholarship application.Even I've searched for it on Google and it was only in one blog I saw that applications have been done and concluded,which actually should have been broadcasted in several job alert sites if actually the application has been done.
Did u apply or u knew someone that applied.Pls clarify my doubts.

You'll receive an acknowledgement mail when u submit,it means u have not submitted.

dedarks: I heard some one saying, they (NLNG) will shorlist 1000 from the pool of those to write the test and only 35 will be employed.

If thats the case,its a very reasonable number.It now depends whether the Nigerian factor will come to play or not.

I don't think so.NITDA only funds IT related Masters and PhD and even if u struggle to get the scholarship,it is almost impossible securing admission into overseas unis for IT related masters with a BSc Economics degree which could imply u loosing the scholarship.I suggest u try other scholarships like PTDF,Commonwealth etc

The possible cause of such problem is slow internet,maybe ur browser is slow it is taken more than usual to load which could be as a result of heavy traffic due to congestion of the site.These sites are designed with security and when it takes more than the required time to load,the connection is automatically disconnected and it takes u back to the home page.I guess this explains why u are experiencing what u are experiencing.
The solution is get a good internet connection preferably strong 3G(HSDPA/WCMDA) or wireless LAN and do the application in the wee hours of the nite(btw 1a.m and 3a.m).I did mine around 2a.m and it took me less than 10mins to complete and submit my application and immediately got an acknowledgement mail.
I suggest u do same.Goodluck!

Yes.when u submit u'll receive a confirmatory mail indicating u've submitted ur application.

itodo ho: i have some questions please. is the form supposed to be printed out and then scanned with your passport attached OR is it supposed to be filled in soft copy and then attached to thier e-mail. i await your responses. thanks.

It is stated in the application process,that no documents should be attached to the application form and that the application form should be accompanied by a coloured passport photograph.Deducing from that I think the passport should be included in the application form besides that explains the empty box for passport photograph in the application form.
I have completed my application in this way and got a successful mail after submission.

Criteria for Award

Be entering into a Masters programme in Engineering,Geosciences,Environmental Sciences,Management Sciences,Information Technology.
Possess a Second Class Upper degree in a relevant field of study
Have completed the NYSC programme
Be not more than 30 years of age
Be Nigerian nationals resident in Nigeria
Provide identification documents from their L.G.As
Provide evidence that they are available to travel in September 2014 if selected.

charlsy: hi all. do you know that when you reduce the size of the documents to be uploaded, you wont be able to see clearly what is contained in the documents like your nysc,degree and so on and they said that 300kb is the max. size for all documents.How would they be able to see what is inside the document.am having a problem on this.Should i just go ahead and reduce all the size of the documents to fall withing 300kb even though it cant be clearly seen when opened? pls i need a reply and did any of you notice the same in yours too?

yinkaabeegs: pls, I ave bin trying to apply for it for the pass two weeks now and I've some difficulties. firstly, after selecting my state of origin 'kwara' the local govt wont come up, secondly, I can upload any document and I've tried it on different systems. pls, anyway out of dis mess. thanks

Before u upload ur documents,make sure they are in JPEG format and that they do not exceed 200kb.I think the problem u are having will either come from the size or the file format.Goodluck!
