Christmygoal: thanks for the enlightenment. Pls what about someone who holds HND Telecomunication/Electronics Engineering, PGD Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering from a different university, will he be given M.Eng in electronics and telecommunication Engineering? He should, but it will also depend on the persons' grades at HND and PGD,because Elect/Elect has high admission standards. |
samlestic: ok thank u @ emasel. somebody told me d forms will expire today. Hw true its dat?check my earlier post Application closes 23:59PM 30/09/14 |
samlestic: thank u. but wats d difference bw msc and mba?MSc are specific masters programs that only admit specific courses.MBA is more like a general program, any field can be admitted for MBA. |
samlestic: i ask a question and nobody cares to answer. us dat Hw we will run dis grup? pls are all 2² eligible to apply? dats including cgpa 2.5It depends on the program/department you are applying for. General Masters like MBA accept 2-2,but most professional masters like MSc and MEng do not. However,if you did your first degree in UNIBEN,you might be given provisional admission but for external candidates with 2-2,it is usually difficult. Most departments will advise you to enrol for PGD before commencing your MSc,that is if you are applying with a 2-2 degree from another school. |
Giannakopoulos: I agree with you,but there are a lot of private sector jobs out there to easily grab, without GMAT or whatsoever with minimum starting pay of @least 100k,Fed/State job isn't easy.I have friends who are doctors/pharmacists,they are all craving govt jobs because most private hospitals pay around 60k.The only advantage they have is that they can be working at two hospitals at the same time bringing their monthly take home to like 100~120k and its stressful. |
Giannakopoulos: 2.1 bro',lecturing is also politicized,I wish I was in the med field.medical field is no exception. Its even worse.Getting a job as a Doctor/nurse/pharmacist/med lab scientist in a Federal or State hospital aint easy bro |
Giannakopoulos: I completed PG,still queuing up with BSc holders to look for a job,but even if in the grave,Jesus Is Lord!with ur first class? Have u tried lecturing or you are not interested. |
Jaynaira: Anyone from the lag centre got the text? Let's know if the texts were sent in batches by centre or people from both lag n calabar centres have all been contacted.Congrats to the successful candidates, wish u all the best in the final stage.yea...I wrote in Lag |
cc150615: please I sent u a message!ma'am pls we need info now,why not post it here so we all can benefit, thanks! |
drunkenmaster: hi, i applied for a SA visa an got denied for reason 'insufficient funds'. Although i'm very curious because i submitted 2 statement of account. My salary account had 150k and my savings a/c had 800k, making a total of 950k. So is 950k not enough for to prove to the officer that i have enough funds? From your tone,I could infer you are applying for visiting visa, and that should be enough I guess.Maybe there was a mix up somewhere, like you said you submitted two statement of accounts, maybe only one was considered.#mythoughts# |
success text just rolled in..... |
Ojobojo1: U sure say na first u get, u can't even spell properly or compose a small writeup well, hw u wan take get work with all ur grammatical errorsRead his tone,he is angry! what do you expect from an angry man?to type grammatically correct sentences? I don't think that will be possible |
kasali4real: ferdybaba pls outline the interview questions for us to hv a glimpse of what to expect.Have u received interview invite? |
engrfaruq: I read Computer Engineering, and my code is HR.oga enjoy ur govt job abeg.As u said u have time for business, patience is vital in govt jobs, but if u can exercise patience, you'll enjoy the fruits. |
Arysexy: OK, Thanks broUNIBEN PG Application for 2014/2015 academic session has commenced.Application closes 23:59 PM 30/09/14. |
Shine1177: I just got my admission letter for MTECH in the mail while waiting for SAQA, seems SAQA is not necessary at DUT. I should be in the republic by January 2015.Congrats! |

Hello house! Please I would like to ask,is knowldge of german language a requirement for german student visa even if the program one is going for is wholly taught in English. Thanks |
Dfavouredone: RELAX, ARE U HOPING NOT TO MAKE IT SO THAT U MOVE ON?Bros na everywhere u dey o ![]() |
cc150615: No na but we were talking about 2014okay,but the prospectus of 2015 should be out by now.It usually comes in August of the preceeding year. |
cc150615: Yea I applied for Commonwealth sharedfor 2015? is it out already? |
Forms are not out yet, hopefully next month. |
cc150615: my question is what does it really take to get shortlisted at all for this Commonwealth scholarship even after meeting the general requirements, is it just the thickness of your personal statements, cos I applied last year nd was turned down but I still intend re applying. Offcos by thickness there I mean how convincing the statements are. imma pm you if u don't mind.A major criteria is your academic potential.Commonwealth Shared scholarships are mostly won by First Class graduates. I applied to about 3 UK unis last year but didn't get any and my GPA in percentage is above 80%. |
yinchar: Hi House, please can anybody provide the email address of the South Africa embassy in Abuja, I'll like to inquire about the status of my study permit. I called them all day without any response.sahcabuja@yahoo.co.uk irozani@gmail.com ibuthelezi@yahoo.com |
naijaobi: 1.the sponsor must be based in germany. And the sponsor can be any person. Wether realtion/friend/enemy/white/black/deaf/dumb/crippled.Thanks! |
Hello House, I am new here. Please I would like to make some enquiries 1. I am aware that for an international student to be granted student's visa into Germany, he/she must provide proof of sponsorship either by opening a blocked account or obtaining a letter of sponsorship from a sponsor based in Germany. My question now is, must the sponsor based in Germany have blood relationship with the person he/she is sponsoring. 2. I intend doing a masters program taught wholly in English. I understand I have to show evidence of English Language proficiency, must I also write GRE, because I checked some German universities with English taught masters in Engineering and most of them demanded GRE as admission requirements. 3.What are the chances of an international PG student working and studying in Germany. Thanks! |
PrincessElla: Are u 24yrs old or below? Did u graduate with a 2.1? If yes, send ur cv to "adebisi.akinbo@accessbank.com" or/and "ifeoluwa.oluwole@accessbank.com"Do u have an idea if Access bank posts some of her graduate trainees as marketers, because I'm kinda looking towards banking now considering what most banks start their fresh graduates on.Because I wouldn't want to work as a marketer. |
yinksob002: I still have not heard from this people oh. Am wondering why it is taking so long for them to repsond. It seems everything in SA takes time, just got notification from SAQA today after more than a month of applying and not as if its ready but requesting for more docs and info. |
