I heard that the breeze of promotion letters has gotten to the staff of Rivers State ministry of education last week. I pray they remember we that are working in the parastatal under the aforementioned ministry.

Staffs of educational zonal board received their promotional letter last month, and were paid new level salary last month too. According to our zonal educational director, he maintains that If we can get our promotional letter before 15th of this month, that is before submission of monthly voucher then new salary will come. Therefore, once we receive our promotional letter we will be a step closer to new salary. The question remain, what effort is PPSB making toward giving us our promotional letter?. Those closer should pls find out.

Are you talking about Portharcourt Board staff? I asked because staff in my LGA board haven't received their letters, thus weren't paid the new promotion salary.
Secondly, on the issue concerning our promotion letters the question is have they even printed out teachers promotion letters let alone signing it before we talk about issuing them to us?
If you look at it critically coupled with the red- tape involve, you will agree with me that it might take more than three months ( although deliberate) for them to finish the process.
I regret to say that teachers in Rivers State are not valued by the Rivers State government and this is part of the so called “CONSOLIDATION”.

I was with a staff who works in a law court in Rivers State yesterday, she told me that she was issued a promotion letter of level 10 (She was in grade level 7, Employed with SSCE certificate) which she photocopied and submitted a copy to their admin officer as they were directed to do.
She told me categorically that the new salary was neither paid to her nor any other staff in her place of work in June salary. However, that they are hopeful it would reflect in their july salary.

Ministry of justice. someone was in level 8 but has been promoted with letter issued to level 12.

This is the height of insensitivity on the part of government, despite the current level of inflation instead of adding they deducted 4k. It is finished.

I shouted here to whoever that cares to here that these politicians in Nigeria are wicked and heartless, though some are more wicked than others, example Rivers State politicians.
They don't give a damn if the economy is biting or not. Imagine deduction in the face of this economic hardship instead of addition.
The dog and puppy are the same, the only difference is on their size. The former Rivers State governor who is still ruling the state can never allow anything that will make workers happy nor become financially stable as our cries gives him more strength, power and energy.
Rivers people, we are in for a long ride.

It will be suicidal to pay the Rivers state civil servant the old salary considering the state living standard, and purchasing power of the workers, in relationship with the effect of fuel subsidy removal.
For our dear governor to start on a good note, he suppose to pay us based on the new level, as we await our promotional letter.

My dear, you better know that Nigerian politicians don't care about our welfare including the former and current Rivers State governors.
Since the immediate past governor is still in power although through the current governor,
the promotion and other fringe benefits to Rivers State workers might end up to be a pipe dream or a wild goose chase.
There's no way the immediate past governor will allow his boy to surpass him in performance. That's just a bitter truth. Meanwhile, I don't know why they detest teachers so much.

It's net salary, the gross is 155k after deductions it reduced to 128k and some fractions. I saw it with my two eyes as well as on the person's payment alerts for several months. I meant level 12 step 8

No, it's an old teacher salary grade after the minimum wage consiquential adjustment.

Level 12 step 8 is 128k. I saw it from my school voucher. Level 10 though I have forgotten the step is 105k

The truth is that they don't care. If the immediate past governor can neglect workers for good 8 years with no promotion, yearly increments as stipulated in Rivers State civil service law, December bonus or any other benefits, what made you think that he would allow his boy “SIM” to better the lots of workers in the state?
To me, the former governor is still in power while the current governor is occupying the office. It's all about “The hands of Esau and the voice of Jacob”. Struggle continues. That's all.

When I posted here that a principal from UBE told me we are placed on level 12/8, I didn't get your backlash and other information I put out here since 2012 till date, you never tagged me a merchant of false and fake news.
However, this single one I didn't want to post the source here because I believe alot of intruders are on this forum now unlike years back due to the refusal of my source to divulge it to the public space, to most of you now, I am a misinformation minister with other ugly adjectives. ok o! Someone here also asked when would the implementation start, I didn't respond because I didn't ask the question to my source due to anger, hence, I have no such Info. Please, don't insult me in such manners again becausei will not hesitate to give back to you next time. For your information I need the new salary more than you do, so don't think a married man like me would deliberately set out to post a heartbreaking information like that to a forum I have been an active member to for donkey years. A UBE principal I met told me that when they submitted their forms, the board gave them a new nominal roll carrying 12/8 for us.
Come to think of it, is the governor following the rules before? The last time I checked, level 9, 10 and some part of 12 which run is millions have all already eaten by the government with us having no hope of arrears to be paid to us.
To me, whe even deserve to be promoted to level 13 or 14 straight to cover the millions they have already denied us.
