I observed that the officials were ticking good for two years previous promotions for 2013 teachers. Does it mean we are about to be promoted or what? Someone should please clarify me on that. Thanks.

Please i want to know if the re-verification exercise slated for 2nd August, 2021 for Gss Isiokpo in kelga LGA is the exercise that requires the e-affidavit and original school certificates? I asked because according to the given information those aforementioned requirements and documents would be needed for forth coming BIOMETRIC exercise and not RE-VERIFICATION exercise. Please someone whose LGA has already done theirs should clear the air on this for the house. Thank you!

mind you, there's is nothing like old and new staff. Just apply for upgrade if you have gotten one and forget about last promotion since you have non yet. I will apply for upgrade since i have gotten PDGE and M.Ed with no promotion yet.

The Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) on Thursday shared to the three tiers of government and Federal Capital Territory (FCT), N640.310 billion as Federal allocation for January 2021
FAAC made the disclosure on Thursday at its meeting through a virtual conference.

From this amount, inclusive cost of collection to NCS, DPR and FIRS, the Federal Government received N226.998 billion, the States received N177.171 billion, the Local Government councils got N131.399 billion while the oil producing states received N26.777 billion as derivation (13% of Mineral Revenue) and Cost of Collection/Transfer and Refunds got N75.966 billion.

The communique issued by the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) at the end of the meeting, indicated that the Gross Revenue available from the Value Added Tax (VAT) for January, 2021 was N157.351 billion as against N171.358 billion distributed in the preceding month of December, 2020, resulting in a decrease of N14..007 billion. The distribution is as follows; Federal Government got N21.950 billion, the States received N73.168 billion, Local Government Councils got N51.218 billion, while Cost of Collection – FIRS and NCS got N11.015 billion.

The distributed Statutory Revenue of N482.958 billion received for the month was higher than the N437.256 billion received for the previous month by N45.703 billion, from which the Federal government received N205.047 billon, States got N104.003 billion, LGCs got N80.162 billion, Derivation (13% Mineral Revenue) got N28.777 billion and Cost of Collection/ Transfer and Refund got N64.951 billion.

The communique also revealed that Companies Income Tax (CIT), and Oil and Gas Royalty, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Excise Duty recorded marginal to significant decreases, while Import Duty increased only marginally and Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT) recorded considerable increase.

The balance in the Excess Crude Account as at 18th February, 2021 stands at $72.412 million.

Read mine again and that of chibuking. The point i was trying to make is that teachers are public servants and not civil servants. Quod erat demonstradum!

The term Public servants are used to describe those who work in the various parastatals such as teachers, soldiers, health workers etc and they mostly have a board which is headed by a chairman as their political head and a director as their career head. while civil servants are those who work in the various ministries such as ministry of education, ministry of defense, ministry of health etc, They have a minister as their political head and perm sec as their career head. However, all parastatals are controlled by one ministry or the other. example, Government secondary Isiokpo, Riv poly, Ignatius ajuru university etc are all parastatals which are under the control of Rivers State Ministry of education. Nigerian Army, Navy, Air force are all parastatals under the control of federal ministry of defense. Mother and child hospital and other state owned health institutions are controlled by ministry of Heath. However, all makes use of civil service rule, even those who work in the various multi national companies are termed public servants because they make use of civil service rule. Hence, brought about the maxim that "all ciivil servants are public servants but not all public servants are civil servants". Thank you.

Teachers are civil servants under ministry of education, yes they are also public servants which is the umbrella that houses civil servants, military, paramilitary, corporations, etc.

People used the term interchangeably but they are not the same. during my university days, i did a course titled Civil service admin. I'm a public administrator by profession. Unless you studied public administration, LG admin or related disciplines you may not know the difference between the two. (public servants and Civil servants)

Federal allocation has been shared. They shared 619.343 billion last night.

Teachers are not included because they're not civil servants but public servants. Civil servants are those who work in the ministries and extra ministerial departments (MDA's) while teachers works in the parastatal. Although, all civil servants are public servants but not all public servants are civil servants. This is from a professional point of view (Public Administration).

It's for housing scheme under federal mogage bank which have been deducting from our salaries already. However, you can quickly have access to the money immediately you retire and proceed to the mogage bank with your retirement letter. My former principals accessed theirs in less than a month after retirement.

My dear, e be like say that one no dey Governor Wike's agenda as for him it's not a project that can be commissioned by some political heavy weights in Nigeria. Hence, promotion and increment are forbidden by Wike's administration.

They ve gone on break to resume 4the January,as for the payment those that have not been paid will be paid when they resume,the various bank was ask to pay before 25the December to all but paid failed to.
