You are surely madder than mad. The GEJites have completely lost it. I can bet my last kobo most of the GEJ till 2019 crew on this forum are direct victims of government misrule over the years and have no hope of tomorrow. Whatever happens to our thought process in Nigeria. Its just shameful and appalling.
Why quote and insult him, am sure you never took time to read and digest his post. Smh......

obailala:
..and in your mind, you are automatically 101% sure that the motor assembly plant in Nnewi will be closed if GEJ leaves power?

Can you please take several seats at the back... angry

If a less corrupt government is at the centre, you will surely see several more automotive assembly plants springing up across the south east. With less corruption and better security even in the north, investor confidence would be boosted in Nigeria as a whole and more foreign investors would surely troop down into the south east to tap into the juicy business environment of Nigeria.

NISSAN, FORD and TOYOTA would surely love to have a plant in Nigeria but due to the percieved insecurity and corrupt business environment (especially by govt officials demanding cutbacks), these companies have been very wary of investing a kobo in Nigeria and have kept away. The story of Virgin Nigeria and the shocking words of Richard Branson when he pulled away from Nigeria is still fresh in our minds. With the forthcoming elections, these guys are closely monitoring Nigeria and praying a less corrupt govt takes over.

Saboteur to Igbo race indeed, what Nonsense!... The kind of Igbo blood in me is too superior and does not permit blind and silly followership. By the way, is Jonathan even an Igbo man?... Okay, he's not my brother but rather my close neighbour so I can easily assume he's my brother but then, "OF WHAT USE IS MY BROTHER'S LEADERSHIP TO ME IF HE CANNOT DEVELOP THE NATION OR EVEN JUST OUR FATHER'S COMPOUND?"
Am glad I still have sensible, eloquent, vibrant, articulate and intelligent igbo brothers that would embrace and stand for the truth without sentiments, God bless you real good for your post.

Go to this prison and see how priceless your freedom is.

If you are given BILL GATES OR WARREN BUFFET HOUSES to stay for 3months without going out for those 3mths, I can assure you that by the time you spend one week in the house, trust me, you would realise that nothing on earth is as good as your HEALTH and FREEDOM.
What freedom are you talking about here? Ur statement is really contradictory, a good roof over your head is nothing to be compared to, It's inspirational, try living in either of the duo's house for an hour if u wld not aspire to be a millionaire, poverty is a bastard.

clap for yourself. do u know that when doctors go on strike they take only their brains? when johesu is on strike they lock up everywhere and hide equipments owned by the hospital just to form relevant personnel.
Shear ignorance!!! So you mean the pharmacist should leave their post opened right? Or the lab scientists should leave their departments opened for quacks to manipulate their equipments right? Clap for yourself......

RIP to the prof.

I really don't want to sound insensitive or smth. But when the medical doctors were on strike and people were dying, they did make insensitive statements. Like 'doctors are the only important members of the health team' 'if johesu goes on strike, they won't be missed because doctors are on ground' 'they know a little of lab tech, nursing, pharmacy' bla bla bla.

Foolish set of Homo sapiens, why couldn't you save what was left of our only neuropathologist? I thought you were 'demigods' and have mystical powers to save lives? Why blame his death on JOHESU now? The joke is on you and the GEJ led FG that has no value for human lives.

The moment we begin to understand that healthcare is collaborative like it is in saner climes, is the moment we'll begin to treat each health profession on its own. Prof's death(tho sad) is a reminder to that effect. Don't quote me pls!
Please I have to quote you, you have just said my mind, what a piece, Baba God bless you plenty, I Hope they listen and learn. Oshe.

serve in borno. Then you will know how lucky you are to be serving in Abuja.
Don't quite agree with you on this, am not sure you have been to Borno State, the only problem with the state is just the state of injustice, prior to these, most corpers posted to the northeastern states are well catered for including good accommodation and state allowances, and as a corper in such states you are being showed love, most times you fare on free transportation and also a good certainty of being retained in ur PPA, the northeastern states where arguably the best states to serve in but for insurgency It's now a gory tale, with your little alawi you could save a whole lot compared to those whom are in the big cities.

This is true, in as much as you are AA but she's SS the 2 of you can get married. All you need is to be ready to be there for her all the time. My wife was recently sick for close to 3 months, I thank God that I was sure of my calling to marry her or else I could have given up and she may have passed away with it but I stood on God's word and she came back. Be sure of your love for her.
Being there for our loved ones truly shows how matured we are and the in-depth of our love. Tnx for ur contributions.

Don't tell anybody, I have a colleague his wife is ss, nobody knows,I only found out becos we were having a counselling session concerning my relationship, he told me if u love someone enough u shud stick and stand up for the person. It is u not people marrying the person, so why care about what people will say. Jus love her. And spoil her as if today is the last day of ur life everyday of ur life.
Sometin must kill a man. Don't live in fear of death. Live with love and desire to live.

If u truly love her, make her urs. My colleague has a child already and d lady is still alive and waxing strong.

Everytin depends on how much of a man u are and how much u tink u love her.
GOd bless.
Thanks, love is all that matters anyway, you have a valid point.

I pride myself in being a 'typical' Nigerian guy with the 'typical' mentality but despite this I find it very strange when people feel stigmatized when they go out with someone who is SS.

My only challenge with one who is SS or even AS is the possibility of choosing a spouse who would put the kids at risk.

In your case, such risk does not exist. Considering that she looks pretty healthy, I am quite sure people wouldn't know she is SS unless you choose to tell them.
They would my guy due to eye coloration, they appear jaundiced I.e yellowish, but that's not the issue, am more concerned about the plight of my children, wouldn't want them to be selective in whom they May chose to fall in love with being AS esp the females.

That I completely cannot relate with. How can you be stigmatized because a lady you choose to marry is SS?

You said it yourself that she looks great, so how is it a social stigmahuh
With the Nigerian mentality, dating an SS is regarded a taboo, I feel they deserved to be loved as well, It's only the few educated ones that even stands a chance of a decent life.

Save yourselves the pain and agony.

Most tyms in life the person you hope to marry may not be the one you end up marrying.

Human proposes and God disposes.
True bro, I so agree with you on this. I would take it upon myself to cater for her needs if I eventually don't end up being with her.
