Do you have any relatives in America? Has anybody answered yes to this question before and got approved?
Don’t know if it’s a good idea to state it that I’ve a sibling in America

Note: 1)Migrated with F1 visa and later got PR with spouse
2)I was recently denied (2nd app)after the VO asked me what significant difference i made on my application
3) My first interview I was given 221g form and asked to submit SOA of parents but was denied after submission
4) My answer to Note 2 was that I used my sponsors savings account opposed to the current account I initially used when I was given the 221g

Is it bad to state that you have a sibling in America? Especially that the sibling has PM, though went there to study initially. Could it be a reason for previous denial even when they never asked if one has any relations in US?

NO! It clearly states that it’s for people that have visa or expired visa not more than a year.
Apply for visa and include that you are going with your mum. If your intention is to visit your siblings in the US that went there as no immigrant and have overstayed then there are high chances that they might deny your visa

Hi guys, my mom was granted visitors visa into the USA last year, she was offered 2 years which is to be expired in January next year, while she renews the visa is possible for her to attached a son (me) to the Dropbox, if so please what are the requirements and what are the chances of approval for me.

That was the only question they asked me and very few universities over MSA in America.
Plan to reapply though and maybe add that my I-20 was as well updated.

There has to be a significant change that can wow the VO. And that change is not likely SOA.

Think of something else.. Let talk be smooth until you're asked for statement of account.

It could be professional certification, change of school, and so on.

Just think of something to use to calm the inquisition

Sounds nice but no assistantship or funding opportunity and my course is masters of science in Aeronautics

VO: i will approve ur visa but next time when going for an internship u dont need to memorised or have a prepared transcript, just flow with the interview and answer the question asked. I am telling u for future purpose. Have a wonderful time in the US

Is it necessary to wait for 6 months before reapplying for F1 visa after visa denial? My interview on Monday in Lagos the VO asked me just one question “what significant change was made on my application” and my response was that my sponsors bank statement, I ve my mums savings account opposed to the previous current account I used.
NOTE: before this denial my previous interview on February 25th the VO gave me 221g form and requested for my sponsors bank statement but after I submitted it my application was still refused.
Tuition and expenses is 25k and my sponsors has over 15m in the account.
The thing just tire me. Wha

So, after my interview the consular requested that i submit bank statement of my sponsors through DHL without having to come for interview and it is under sections 221(G). After carefully reading the letter I opened the CGI website, clicked on submit documents and i was directed to another page where i inserted my username and password but i am still unable to download the 221(G) submission slip which is essential for submitting the additional documents. I contacted them by mail and have no response yet, called but they seem not to understand my situation. What should i do next or what am i doing wrongly?
