Once you lose or draw another match, you will see lots of news outlets linking utd to Sancho, kolibaly, icardi etc and even going as far as saying they saw one agent in one hotel where phelan or woody had a meeting or a dinner..... Just to reduce your noise and give u false hope. I don't want to be pessimistic but I don't think this guys are serious. Woody and the Glazers are only concerned with how much they can generate with the barest minimum leaving we the fans with different grades of heartaches.
The most they will do is do 3 senseless signings and one useless so called "big name" signing like bale then close shop.
Fans will be screaming "we won the transfer window" like say na competition not knowing that its probably gonna be another season of shalaye and finger biting when Sheffield united knocks you senseless at home....

It was a nice match tonight between two sides that you want to lose at the same time; Liverpool is a perennial Utd enemy and vice versa; Barca disgraced us out of the UCL.
It was an energetic, end to end match(especially in the 1st half) and I cheered good football from both sides but after a while I started thinking; which of my team's players can dislodge any one of the outfield starting 20?
It was a mixture of enjoying good soccer and also realizing how (far) behind the utd team is both tactically and concerning manpower.

I agree that they are a bunch of less talented boys but I also want to press home the fact that they are soft. Soft in that they have no desire to play out their hearts. Mike Phelan for DOF won't make much difference. What the club needs is an outsider who won't bend to Woody too much and is experienced enough to help recruit and convince players to come to Trafford; and also be able and firm enough to call the bluff of some players.... Phelan is already an in-house person, he won't be able to force Woody's hand in some situations.

They just want to turn the club to old boys association.

Phelan as DOF may just turn out to be the same old shit in a different package.

Why leave young on the pitch when he had no input, no cross, nothing and put dalot on the left wing?
