From your initial post, you sounded like its the pandemic that caused the repairs to 'stop'....now you are trying to frame it as...t was in use all this while but possibly, the pandemic even helped in fast tracking the repairs..

You do know that those are facilities that are always in use round the clock. They can't just start repair work without doing phase planning. They can't just bring everything down at the same time na.

They have been planning a 20million worth of repairs since 3 yrs? Wonder how many decades it'll take them to build a new stadium.

I doubt it's because of the fans protest though. These projects have been planned like 3 years ago. Infact work was supposed to start and finished last summer but the pandemic delayed the implementation up to this year.

Not a problem if they go to teams where they'd be able to get at least 20-25 competitive games of a comparable level under their belts this season. Its better than just rotting on the bench and playing under 23. The championship isn't bad really. In fact, them amad and probably garner should even lock down starting spots in whatever teams they go to.

1) Chong: Sell. He has had 2 loan deals and has not impressed in either. Now has Rashford, Martial, Sancho, Greenwood, Pogba ahead of him AND he would be blocking the chances of Amad, Elanga, Shoretire, Mejbri long term. Sell with either first refusal or buy back clause.

2) Pellistri, Levitt and Laird: loan to Championship. I am tempted to say sell Levitt as well cos he has blown a couple of loan deals but maybe he needs one more shot.

3) Garner: loan to mid-level attack minded EPL team. We could loan to Brighton and buy Bissouma for instance.

4) Ethan Galbraith: loan to Championship. He is 20 and has played 2 full seasons of Under-23 already. Any 20yr old still playing Under-23 really has no shot at making it here.

5) Hugill: Yes. Continue Under-23. He will be joined this season by McNeill. May the better man win.

6) Mengi: Another Championship loan or a mid-level EPL loan. We recalled Tuanzebe too early and that is what stalled his career.

7) Elanga, Mejbri, Amad first team until January and possible loan for the 2nd half of the season depending on performance.

Shoretire: Keep him in Under-23 and let him play with his age mates for once. He is just 17. This triple promotion he has been getting is not really good for him IMO.

Amad Diallo has played more minutes in Man United in 4 months than he managed at Atalanta in 18 months...

Seems Ole is still "easing him in".

Lingard is a useful squad player who went through a prolonged loss of form that was attributed to his off field struggles. However one can't just think he would be able to replicate his West Ham form here. West Ham's ability to play transitional offence against higher blocks suits him better than our attack which more often than not faces low blocks.

Funny thing is that throughout his struggles he was able to keep up with his mates like Hazard and Willian in terms of goal scoring.

You just had to throw in that small shot....�

Salary packages of the federal polys are almost the same with federal universities or one is slightly more than the other.That is why many lecturers don't want to leave polytechnics even if they are PhD holders. 4 Federal polys salary is more than that of a state university. 5 If you are a professor in a federal university your salary is a little different from that of a Chief Lecturer in a polytechnic owned by the federal government. 6 The enjoyment in federal polytechnics is more than even in a federal university in some areas.7 Do not be deceived by the title Professor there is nothing in it .What have many professors in Nigeria achieved apart from travelling out with TETFUND grants? 8 In polytechnics you can go for your PhD and get more opportunities in many places including academics. 9 Nigeria today is about money not title 10 Think about comfort and satisfaction in your life which goes beyond academic titles any where. 11 Finally if you don't want any regret in your life run away from any state institution even university. From a federal polytechnic you can still go to a federal university if it is your dream to be a professor. 12 May God bless any decision you take on this matter.
