They can be grown anywhere even if no pollination occurs.
A normal parthenocarpic variety doesn't have males. They are normally grown in greenhouses without pollination. Darina f1 is known to be grown in closed green houses so one is surprised with the male flowers aspect. Maybe it's combines both qualities of parthenocarpic and gynoecious.

Today's entry brings great news!

Flowering has commenced in most plants and i am excited for what lies ahead. The potassium based soluble fertilizer will be applied this week also to boost plant growth and better fruiting.

To my ogas, i thought Darina was supposed to be parthenocarpic but i am seeing male and female flowers here. Is it supposed to be so?

All other plants are looking great. No sprouting yet on the Fantastic RZ F1 eggplant (as expected), the carrots are great.
I will be going to the post office this week to ask for the onions sent (if i don't get a call from them by Wednesday).

Darina should be different from the typical parthenocarpic variety then since it has male flowers but It's grown in greenhouses and it's produces fruit without pollination. The Mydaz RZ F1 has all female flowers all resulting into fruits.

Please do you buy, store and sell on behalf of customers since you have market already or do you only buy for customer and they resell when price goes up.

If you cannot sell yourself, don't do storage. Many people have lost money storing produces away from their places. Anything can happen if you don't want stories that touch.

darina is not in league of both JORAD and Greengo In terms of yield and green level, I will even rate Tokyo over darina in terms of yield. It that Mydaz RZ f1 have never see it production, how much is it, and how many seed inside it?

Unbelievable! It's likely the management oh. Mydaz RZ F1 is about 3500 for just 100 seeds. Darina F1 is up there if you get the nutrient right. Darina should give minimum of 10 mature fruits under open field but if no nutrient, even Mydaz may not even give 3 fruits to maturity.

deep green is the deal here, yields is additional! If I see other cultivar that is green, and yield more than Greengo, of course I will sharply switch. Dem market women here no get joy at all, you will see them hissing up and down if it not dark green.

Lol for those market women. Have you tried darina F1 before? It's seedless and extremely dark green like your greengo. If you get time, buy small pack and test on a portion on your farm.
Seedless doesn't mean light green. Mydaz RZ f1 for example is darker and longer than greengo.
Darina F1 is extremely dark too and looks just like greengo.
The only con with all these extra productive varieties are management and more nutrient management because all flowers will bring fruit.
Mydaz is also very expensive but delivers when compared to most other varieties (potential of 40 fruits). Because of cost, many small scale farmers into seedless cucumber go for Darina f1 which is a cheaper alternative to Mydaz RZ f1.

The rice is pure white and 100% stone free. The pictures are not too clear but
I do wholesale sales of rice and my first mistake was buying a trailer load of the wrong rice when i started from a brand company. If you are starting, dont go above 50 bags except you are buying a good company brand rice. Do your research well and good luck.

It's an inbuilt software from an agro Israeli company. Just give me your fertlizer types and I will do the calculation for you.
Recommended fertlizer types are npk, SSP or dap or map, potassium nitrate or sop or mop, Epsom salt with limestone or calcium nitrate.

Bro Kindly enlight me on how to use SSP with manure before planting cucumber with dosage. I mean how many grams of SSP per hole?

10g per hole but I have my own formula I use. I mix with npk+mop given my targets in split doses all through the life span.
Cucumber just like tomato are a few of available plants that needs potassium more than nitrogen in all stages of production except the first week of planting.

This is my formula for most cucumber production and I use a software to calculate this need from the 2nd week of planting. This should do for most cucumber except for very high production types like the seedless/parthenocarpic ones, there is a recommendation I get from the beit alpha cucumber which is almost double others.

From the 4 week, increase dosage to 40g per plant.

I major in sortexed brown ofada rice but I also have the samples of the Tiamin rice though not available for bulk buyers in my shop currently. Someone only gave me some bags and I only have a bag left for personal consumption.
If you have the cash, you can get the dealership from the company but it's over a 130m to become one right now.

If you can get rice from the likes of Tiamin (Kano) or Lula (gombe), you don't need foreign rice. Those are the best rice in Nigeria.

Unless you are selling to all these Top Restaurants and Shopping malls and it has to be grown using the Organic pattern.

This our area buy all kinds of things. I don't think any variety outside the light green ones are rejected here. The markets here are more matured than most other markets.

So far, it's been a busy few days. We've staked, applied fungicide, foliar fertilizer (twice because of the rains here) and top-dressed with manure also.

The seedlings are looking great and all is going well so far.

New seeds were planted to cater for another planting somewhere else. The eggplants, carrots are looking fantastic
Unfortunately, it seems the onion seeds I got are expired .... It's been two weeks now and zero sprouting so far

I saw some new fruits on three new bramches. I cut off the old branches which was drying up and the fruit count so far from that particular plant has been about 18 harvested.
I noticed a difference in taste between these seedless fruits compared to other seed variety. It's way better and a little saltier compared to most tasteless cucumbers I have eaten from the market. It could be the treatment they are receiving anyway.

Next planting with Diva F1 from east west should be in two weeks time. I don't want to run out of cucumbers/tomatoes ever at home again.

Lol. Imagine a cucumber plant above 12 weeks and still thriving and fruiting and bringing out new branches. It must be the additional nutrients from these fertlizers especially SSP and mop that is assisting.
