Celebrities / Dbanj Acquires New "Custom Made Jet" May Not Be Broke Afterall by emmabowin(m): 11:27pm On Feb 06, 2015
Rumors making the rounds that dbanj is broke may not be true afterall as the kokomaster today landed a new endorsement and bought for himself a new jet on the road. With a new endorsement deal on his bankrolk, Dbanj has every bragging right in the world, for today at the very least. The feeling the nigga singer was announced as a brand ambassador for ciroc in a press conference on friday february 6 and he stepped out of the location on what he calls "custom made jet" it appears dbanj may have gotten himself a new machine for the road, although we can't confirm the product for now, it looks like a Royce. "Going home after a great press conference in my new custom made jet on the road. My gift to myself" he captioned it.

Politics / Re: Nigerian Army Captain Who Leaked Ekiti Election Rigging Tape Speaks by emmabowin(m): 9:35pm On Feb 06, 2015
I am fully convinced that the ekiti election wasn't rigged. They may be an ulterior motive of the military to rig the election but it didn't came to bear. You can ask INEC to bring the ballot papers for them to be counted again or you can even conduct the election ten more times and fayose would still have won. Now answer this question, if indeed the PDP had rigged the ekiti election, how come they were unable to repeat the same feat in osun in which the Apc won. FYI, it is very difficult to rig election in Nigeria nowadays, thanks to president Jonathan for his electoral reforms and for repositioning INEC

The Ekiti election was clearly won by the PDP and Fayose nor the Pdp need not rig the election. It was clear as daylight that the people of Ekiti wanted Fayose.this of course, is an APC gimmick

Politics / Re: Edo CAMPAIGN.. Stadium Already Full GEJ Till Buhari Pass Maths.. by emmabowin(m): 2:58pm On Feb 04, 2015
I can categorically confirm that the crowd at the stadium was indeed massive. It was a sea of human heads, everywhere was tight and the stadium was filled to capacity. More interesting was the fact that there were even many thousands of people outside the arena that couldn't go in. In conclusion, president Jonathan has won Edo state already

I find most part of this article true, except for the part that says "studying is not always as interesting as playing game or watching a movie". It may interest the op to know that some of us take studying as an hobby, hence studying becomes even more interesting and fulfilling than watching a movie. There is so much joy u derive when u study.

ALKARULEZ615: fallacious reasoning...

Wah happens if he randomly shaded 50 wrong answers?

my friend, it can't happen. The likeliness that someone will shade 50 multiple choice questions with options of A-D or A-E and gets nothing is unfeasible. You can try it out. Write a marking scheme with options a-d and ask your friend to write either of a-d 50 times. He or she can't score 1 or 2 not to talk of 0. Be sincere with your findings
Education / Re: Fupre's Shambolic Admission Process. by emmabowin(m): 9:51am On Sep 27, 2014
Even if someone randomly shades the entire 60 questions, he still can't score 0, 1, 2, 3, it's not possible.

If you ask me,I would suggest that more people should write their open letters exposing the many ills and shortcomings of Obasanjo, detailing how he is full of deceit and manipulations. This man must know that he is not bigger than the country and cannot decide for the presidency. The era of political godfatherism is gradually coming to an end in this country. We destroyed godfatherism in Edo state,as well as Ondo State. Its only a matter of time before the wave spread round the Country like wildfire.

I am surprised bini people are refusing to take up this open challenge.

Had it been some other tribe who started this thread, it would have been war by now.

Hmm, na so una fear calabar reach, ok then.

The ' binibot' which alerts some people everytime bini is mentioned on nl, seems to be non functioning?

I see none of the warriors yet.

So na for only non calabar folks una dey get power.

NO NO NO. The binis are not afraid of anybody. They are peace loving and hospitable people. Unlike many other tribes, the binis think with their heads and not their nose. They know when to act and when not to. Am afraid,if you are looking to incite the binis against the calabars, then its a failed mission.Again,if you are looking for tribal war,you know the tribes to incite or the threads to visit, certainly, not the binis and not for this trivial issue.

berem: Jonathan also did the same thing to ministers who were loyal to leaders of the opposition party and his political enemies. Kwakwanso is doing exactly what Jonathan did. The governor is even lenient enough to give them notice by telling them to resign instead of sacking them.

The way we take matters to the extreme and manipulate events is totally uncalled for. During the last presidential media chat, the president was asked why he sacked some ministers,he never said because they were loyal to the opposition party. He replied that it was high time he needed to reshuffle and re strategies his cabinet for effective service delivery so he can continue to deliver the dividends of democracy for which he was elected to do. How you have totally understood that to mean something else is beyond me

Do bini men love large families? Maybe or maybe not,its actually a matter of choice as it is elsewhere
Do bini people get married to themselves? Yes they do. The binis generally prefer to get married to themselves than outsiders.
Why have u not seen couples that are less than 45years and are both of bini origin ? Because you are not living in benin or probably not inquisitive enough.

Many a times, you just can't help but agree with this man, femi falana.
The APC isn't an alternative, its just a rearrangement of the same folks whose main goal is to wrestle power from the ruling party for their own personal interest.
It beats my imagination to think that the same set of persons who the APC has labeled as corrupt are the ones they are begging to join them. This,of course,is the definition of hypocrisy.

seems you guys dont undstnd wat the op is trying to say
Well I don't need any magician to tell me that there is a clear difference between worship and honour.I personally do not worship Mary because our God is a jealous God and has asked us to worship none other before him in Exodus 34:14.Similarly,Jesus replied satan in the wilderness in matt 4:10 "you shall WORSHIP d Lord your God and HIM ONLY shall you serve"
Religion / Re: For Catholics: I Worship Mary!!! by emmabowin(m): 1:29pm On Dec 11, 2013
Op, you are clearly on your own here as this is not the positon of other catholics worldwide. I think you should see a Rev. Father to explain the teachings of the church to you with regards to mary.We have said it times without number,we do not worship Mary and I advisyou not to. We only honour her being the Mother of our Lord and saviour.
Education / Festus Iyayi Wasn't Murdered - Medical Autopsy Reveals by emmabowin(m): 8:16am On Dec 10, 2013
Medical Autopsy Reveals Iyayi Was not murdered.

A medical exam conducted to unravel the cause of death of Festus Iyayi showed no evidence of bullets, a source familiar with the autopsyhas informed Us. Mr. Iyayi, a professor of business management at the University of Benin who was also a well known novelist and academic activist, he died November 12 in an automobile accident near Lokoja. Mr. Iyayi was on his way to attend a meeting of the Academic Staff Union of Universities when the vehicle in which he was traveling was hit by a car in the convoy of Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State.

Our source said that a team of pathologists who included experts and witnesses from ASUU, medical doctors at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital and the Nigerian government carried out an autopsy and unanimously determined that Mr. Iyayi was not shot.

With the official report of the autopsy still being put together, our source disclosed that the participants in the autopsy confirmed the presence of holes in Mr. Iyayi's body, even though they could not trace the piercings to any bullets. He added that medical examiners recovered no pellets from the late Professor's body.
The autopsy was reportedly done about a week before the commencement of Mr. Iyayi's Funeral. The late academic’s funeral ended yesterday with a “thank sgiving Mass at Saint Mathew’s Catholic Church in Ugbegun, Edo State. Mr. Iyayi's remains were buried in the same town on Saturday.
A renowned Nigerian writer and activist, Mr. Iyayi was a former national leader of ASUU. He also served as a former President of the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights (CDHR).
SaharaReporters disclosed that Mr. Iyayi was killed in a crash involving the notoriously reckless convoy of Kogi State Governor, Mr. Wada. Mr. Iyayi was on his way to Kano to attend a council meeting of ASUU executives to discuss the next step in a long-running strike by lecturers that has grounded Nigeria’s public universities and mired the country’s education in a crisis.
However, members of the late Professor Iyayi's family and activists close to him said they have not been informed of the final results of the autopsy. His son, Omole, told Saharareporters earlier today that the family had not received any official autopsy reports from doctors in Benin. He said they were therefore surprised at the conclusions
