At higher dose,you may have side effects, Erythromycin for that pimples should be 1tab 8hourly, asides that check the Retin A, probably it may have expired or not the genuine one, if all this has been ruled out, you may have see the dermatologist or see a specialist to really know what type of acne you have, it maybe under acne or systemically compromised acne. But my advise for you till you see your dermatologist, make a paste of salicylic acid apply on the spots 3ce daily.

I take the Erythromycin twice a day, morning and night. It's 500mg and my next appointment with the doctor is in 4wks time. He said it is hormonal acne. Thanks for the advice
