EducationRe: OOU Students On Protest Over The Reduction Of School Fee by Emmaesty(f): 8:14am On Aug 15, 2014
thegreatman4ww: Do you justify aggressive public protest over consultation or peaceful protest to make clear your point.

Fine he promised 50% reduction but only makes 10% reduction (no protest) two years later reduce further between 30-60% (not knowing the percentage of OOU), a wise intelligent and educated fellow should first appreciate/accept then further makes his opinions and acceptance conditions known through dialogue and consultations as far as the cause of protest can be justify, the first step of action is totally not uncalled for.
Like other students, u may make appreciateful protest to the state govt and deliver a letter appreciating the kind gestures first then strongly emphasing your conditions of acceptability supported by public pronouncement.
Yoruba says "a ko s'apo la n ko owo" first accept a good gesture before demanding for more.
U're not a student of OOU so u know nothing. Consultations and dialogue has been on-going for 2 months(any OOUite can corrobate this) and all our pleas for reduction of our fees fell on deaf ears. Suddenly he decides to reduce it but the reduction will take place next year. Why not this year? It's all propaganda!!!! OOUites will not succumb. By the way, OOUites went to Abeokuta for a PEACEFUL protest but were attacked by thugs from Mapoly(i stand to be corrected). We have 4 students currently injured and many more are still there. OOUites shall be victorious #LongLiveOOU #Oke-Imosan2014
EducationRe: OOU Students On Protest Over The Reduction Of School Fee by Emmaesty(f): 10:40pm On Aug 14, 2014
tyman: I was in Oke Mosan today, the first set of students that made rally were the Mapoly students, from their composition, you would know they were real students, guys and ladies thanking the government for the reduction in their school fees.

Shortly, another crowd that were 95% guys and non-student like faces (sponsored) claiming from OOU then came around protesting the reduction in school fees. From their looks and composition, you will surely know that they were touts and political thugs not students.

Meanwhile, it wasn't this administration that initially increased their school fees, infact this is the second time the Governor will be reducing the fees he inherited
Liar! Liar!! Liar!!! Those students there were true students of OOU. The protest had been planned long before Amosun decided to play politics and reduce the school fees. He promised to reduce the school fees by 50% in 2011 if he were elected, he got elected and reduced it by 10%(What happened to the remaining 40%??). Now, he said he has reduced it by 30% and it will be implemented by next year(2015), probably because he wants votes. Please tell me, does he think we are fools? If he does not implement it this year, then AMOSUN MUST GO #SaveOOU #Oke-Imosan2014 #ReduceOurFees
EducationRe: OOU Students On Protest Over The Reduction Of School Fee by Emmaesty(f):
OOU students are not protesting against the reduction of the school fees but are protesting against it taking effect from the next session cos Election is next year and if he gets re-elected, the policy might not be effected..... Long live OOU #SaveOOU #Oke-Imosan2014

holar2ge: Thanks maam. Hydrocortisone works pretty well..

what is/re d side effect(s) of d Retin A..i will be glad if u could tell d price of the drugs. Thanks!
The side effect of Retin-A is that your skin will be become so sensitive that exposure to sunlight can damage your skin, so it's always recommended to use a sun screen when using the cream. U would start noticing changes in the 2nd month or so. It's a very very powerful cream and sometimes only sold with prescription(From a dermatologist). Please use one cream @ a time for the sake of your face. Retin-A should be around 1k or so, depending on where u purchase it

I was once like you, had pimples on every inch of my face. I used hydrocortisone, it reduced the 80% of the pimples and made me 2 shades lighter and also gave me dark spots(i don't recommend it to those who are not desperate). I later used some cleansers and Dr sheffeild Clear Zits cream(trust me it works) and also seba med soap for Acne prone skin. My face is better now though i have 2 little pimples on my face(doesn't really bother me). U could also buy Retin-A but it has some side effects sha

CultureRe: Having Visitors Without Prior Notice: Your View by Emmaesty(f): 6:29am On Aug 06, 2014
Naima00: In my culture (Somali) with the older generation its almost unheard of to call or "book an appointment" (as they see it) when going to visit someone so their visits are always unannounced unless they are travelling long distances and so for their own benefit they will call and make sure your home at least to avoid a wasted trip lol. However with the younger generations or especially people in the diaspora that is most definitely dying out and so you are most likely to be made aware when your going to be visited. However unannounced visitors means you always be ready and prepared for people to drop by at any time which can be a nightmare ie Your house should always be clean and you should always have extra food. You are not allowed an off day or expect to look bad. lol Culture!
U have a wonderful culture. If only some Nigerian cultures were like this, we'd have a cleaner country
