dude, your reaction toward the comments here proved to me that you are insensible. Even if you are more intelligent than the op, you wouldn't become the lecture later but the op. if you can't help the op then don't condemn those that are willing to help, although op's friend should have known this even after searching through the Google but nobody is perfect if not the employer should had seen his inadequacy.

if you decide to quote and attack me, no problem or if you decide not to quote me, good!.
I would have ignored your comment. However, I won't because you used a wrong word to qualify. What did you mean by "insensible"? Before you started judging me you would have gone through my comments from the beginning to the end. My first comment says that I need the job more than his friend does, what was his response to that? Secondly, the asuustrike guy that was trying to help him also made a very derogatory comment by saying that 'previous commenters are novice ". And here you are adding salt to the injury with another derogatory comment.

You know what? Let us call a spade a spade . Your own comment too reveals your personality.

In conclusion, if you say that you have seen proves to call me insensible, what do you think you are with this your comment? Pass your message without attacking anyone if you do not want to be attacked.

28th of January, 2019.

The Registrar,
University of Calabar,
Calabar Cross River State.

Dear Sir/Ma,
Letter of Job Acceptance as Lecturer
Further to the series of tests and interview assessment that followed from my earlier application and the your subsequent offer, I am pleased to accept your offer of an appointment as a lecturer in your school. Looking forward to hear from you.

Yours Faithfully,
Signature
Edem Edet Bassey.

I hope this answers all you need. Kindly address your letter to the registrar of your university or seek advice from other lecturers or staff on how to address the letter. We learn everyday op hence nobody knows it all. Don't pay attention to those novice that don't know anything about academics as many of them are frustrated.

Note that your first address should be at the right hand but mine couldn't after much effort. I presume you are new in the academic system
This is laughable and full of gibberish. You are trying hard to impress. Unfortunately, this your sample letter is full of errors and you are claiming to know about academia. You are the real tyro and frustrated being man.

Thanks in anticipation of a response.

First and foremost, do not contact anybody from this site or drop your email or phone number. Most Nigerians are hungry animals and will rip you off that 250k you saved already! You have been warned. Simply go through advices and pick the ones that best suit your life.

As an aside, Please do not pay any stuppid tithe neither should you buy any stuppid Keke. Keke Business is almost saturated and you will be harassed on a daily by touts and passengers!

You have some options now. Two of the answers are already here.

First and foremost, why not open a lesson centre from the money you have already? You can even teach adults as per adult education. You can also teach a large number of your school pupils as per afternoon lessons.

Go and learn barbing in your area ASAP! Relocate to a low cost city like Onitsha or Ibadan and open a Salon! With a Salon, you have solved two problems. Housing and Salary because you will also be sleeping there. That means that rent is off the case. Wake up early morning and baff somewhere. Find a way to shitt and also feed. It mustn't be Onitsha. Lagos is ok too. But why I didn't mention it is because unless you have someone or a relative in Lagos... You may suffer accommodation issues!
I swear.

Another great option is to learn driving ASAP! Find someone to teach you expert driving because the cities you will be driving in requires such. Also start processin drivers licence immediately if you dont have one! When you are done learning, come to Naira land here and request for a car. Pray to God to find a good partner who may also give you temporary accomodation in Lagos! Sign up on Uber and Taxify and start driving! You will be seeing your daily feeding money at least! Thats it.

The third option is for you to start clothes business with some money you saved. Mind you, don't invest all. Come to Onitsha with like 80-100k. Buy cheap okirika clothes and start selling in schools around you! With the said amount above, You can buy clothes that will fill 7-8 Onions bags. You can also buy cheap party china wears. From your description, you seem to stay in an area not too developed. So I guess, they wont know the difference. Carry your clothes around and sell in schools, universities and colleges of educations. Also go around school hostels shouting "Things For Sell". It pays a lot.

Fifth and Final option is use some part of the money and buy a laptop if you don't have one already. Start Yahoo Yahoo! It maybe long before you pick but if Satan is on your side, a good maga will change your story forever. I don't want to say God because God does not like evil! Am just being realistic bro.

But never ever go for masters! Its useless. There is little or no white collar job in Nigeria now. The few available ones either pay peanuts or the high paying ones need connection to get! Don't learn any useless computer skills! You may remain hungry Don't become a Keke driver! You will suffer! Think big and become big!
Oh!! your submission was good until you dabbled into y y thing. You didn't want him to get scammed but you want him to start scamming people!!

what did he score in his gre. Was it cos of gre?
GRE was not required, however, low GPA was cited as the reason behind the rejection. His undergraduate GPA is above the required figure. However, his MSc is below the required figure. He actually used his MSc as a suport which eventually turned otherwise; since his undergraduate GPA qualifies him for direct PhD admission.

Anybody know the exact venue or residing at osun?
I am currently in the town. Although I never knew that they existed until this very moment when I saw this thread. After reading through their Facebook page, I can say that I know the location they are claiming they are. However, I had never noticed their presence! As a matter of prudence, travelling from Abia to Iwo for this type of job might not eventually worth it. If you are convinced though you can give it trial.

Asking for 1k processing fee is very wrong. They are meant to be responsible for the applicants' t fare instead. Let me just tell you guys one basic fact, they might not even pay reasonable remuneration. They are just starting off; still looking for students.

Hey guys...greetings. Pls I have another quantitative question that gave me tough time. Under GRE maths review for Data Analysis.

1. Let A,B,C,D be events for which
P(A or B)= 0.6
P(A)= 0.2
P(C or D)= 0.6
P(C)= 0.5
The events A and B are mutually exclusive and the events C and D are independent. Find P(D).
*[the answer at the back of the book is 0.2]* I mistakenly got 0.1 at first... which was easily a trap...but later having checked the answer I configured my brain... knowing fully well that ETS makes no mistakes in her books.

2. If (-13) is divided by 3. Find the remainder.
*[ the answer is not (-1). That was another trap. The answer at the back =2]*

please do kindly explain the tactics that suggest those ETS answers.

My exam is in November... but for now I don chop the registration money. Perhaps Ponpon go sort me on credit.

Fall 2019, yes we can.
cheers

See the solution for the second question.

Remainders, by definition, are *never* negative. If you are dividing by 6, for example, there are only six possible remainders: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.

If you want to understand what the remainder would be when you divide, say, -7 by 6, we can first see how we find remainders with positive numbers. When you divide, say, 19 by 6, the remainder is 1 because 19 is 1 greater than the nearest smaller multiple of 6. That is, we need to subtract 1 from 19 to get a multiple of 6. Similarly, if we try to divide -7 by 6, the remainder will be 5, because -7 is 5 greater than the nearest smaller multiple of 6 (which is -12). That is, we need to subtract 5 from -7 to get a multiple of 6.

Back to your question, if we try to divide -13 by 3, the remainder will be 2, because -13 is 2 greater than the nearest multiple of 3 ( which is -15). Meaning that we need to subtract 2 from -13 to get a multiple of 3.

Please go through the explanation and understand the mathematical jargons therein.

MPhil grade differs from MPhil/PhD grade. A person who graduated with a MPhil grade will apply for an MPhil programme which will last for a period of one year and maybe some month after which such person will be awarded a MPhil certificate. On d contrary, a person who graduated with a. MPhil/PhD grade will apply for a PhD programme but such a person will write a conversion exams after his or her course work and must acquire 60percent of his total points den such a person will commence his thesis writeup. If such person didn't make up to 60 percent such will be drop for MPhil programme. My little understanding
You are correct except where you said that anyone with MPhil/PhD will apply for PhD. Such individual will have to apply for MPhil/PhD which can later be converted to PhD upon satisfactory performance .

However, some schools use to place students who even made minimum of "PhD Grade " on MPhil/PhD programme mainly because they didn't do M.Sc in their schools (Nigerian Schools).
