There was a bit of a commotion in Oshodi Lagos after a Naval officer allegedly slapped a pregnant woman, sending her crashing to the floor.

In the video circulating online, the woman is seen lying on the floor as the Naval officer stands beside her looking confused as young men surrounded him and confronted him for slapping her.

One of the men eventually helped the pregnant woman sit up. The officer was almost attacked by the crowd but for his uniform.

Nigerian cinematographer, Ademola Ariyo has passed away after battling kidney disease.

Late Ariyo was battling with stage 5 kidney failure and needed N12 million for a transplant but the money wasn’t realized.

Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has told youths of the state that it is better to be thieves than to smoke weed.

He made this statement while briefing the people of his state on his development plans for the community. While emphasizing the dangers of smoking weed, Okorocha reminded them that smoking weed is still illegal and the law will go after anyone who is involved in the business.

Speaking in Igbo, Okorocha said: "A law has been declared in the state that everything that has to do with smoking weed has to stop. Weed has killed my children in Imo State. Anyone who is selling weed; whether you are smoking it or you are selling it, if we find your house, we will demolish it.

"Where I stand now, I prefer that a person... it's better that a person is a thief than to smoke weed.

"If you're caught stealing, you'll be sent to prison. If you go to steal while armed, you'll be killed. But if you smoke weed, not only will you be sent to prison, your house will also be demolished. So which one is better for you?

"Because if people do not smoke weed, no one will go to rob. It's when one is under the influence of weed, that's when they rob."

He went on to tell the people of the community that he knows they do not smoke weed, then warned again that if anyone is caught smoking weed, their houses will be demolished.

"And I'm not joking about it. I'm very serious," he concluded.

The Anambra state singer who represented Nigeria in Norske Talenter (Norway Got Talent) talked about his plan for the future and how he is able to take Nigerian sound to Norway where he was among the contestants that contested for the grand prize but lucky he got to the semi-finals he was also thankful to those who voted to keep him in the competition.

Congratulations on your outing at the Norway's Got Talent. How do you feel getting to the semi-final stage?
Yeah I feel happy really. There was more than 1000 contestants in the beginning, but it was only 20 of us left at the last semifinal stage. And besides I actually came very close to making it to the Finals, and being the only contestant that sings Nigerian dance-hall and afrobeats, I also feel good that I was able to introduce our indigenous music style to the Norwegian society and the accepted it all the way to the Semi finals of Norske Talenter. I think that is a laudable feat.

What would you say denied you the opportunity to make it to the finals?

It was very simple, A foreigner with a foreign style and foreign music. And also not being born here you know.Nigerian musicians that travel round the world to perform know that its not easy to appeal to the white community. Most times when they come to Europe , It’s the black community that they usually perform for. So I feel proud that I was able to engage the whole Nation(Norway) with my Nigerian music style through the many stages in the contest up till the Semi finals.

How many people auditioned for the hunt and what were the categories or was it streamlined to music alone?
There were over 1000 contestants that passed the screening and attented the auditions. There were different categories including Dance, Magic, Acrobats, singing etc.

What are your plans now that your quest for $60,000 ultimate prize of the show has ended?
I want to publish all the songs I performed in Norway’s Got Talent online so my fans can access them. They will be available on Itunes, Deezer, Cdbaby, Spotify etc from next week. Then I am going back to the studio to make more hit music and great videos. I will be dropping something new soon.

5: Where you the only Nigerian and African in the contest?

Yeah I think I was the only Nigerian but not the only African.

6: What is the experience like being on such international platform, and what have taken away from the show?
It was really great. A dream come through. I pushed myself and developed more creative muscles. I worked with a team of professionals and earned their respect. I saw myself in an entirely new level. It was sweet and bitter, Fantastic and terrible, pain and gain and altogether a great experience. Today The name APPYDAY is reverberating across the whole Norway. It can only get better not worse.

Any plan coming back to Nigerian soon?
My life dream is to invest in the lives of poor and homeless children in Nigeria. I will come home at the right time.

Anita dreamt about her having twins some time ago, she informed her about it, they prayed and fasted seriously over it, and after 6 months, she took in. Based on that, Anita who was over the moon because God honoured her divine vision, took to her Instagram to give testimony of the goodness of God. It wasn’t her intention to misinformed her fans. It was only a celebration of a great miracle.

A close reliable source reveals possible break up between rapper Eva and her fiancé, Caesar. Citing the inactivity of the evaandcaesar Instagram pages as one of the signs. Also, the couple reportedly came differently to Peter Coles wife’s 30th birthday party, even though they sat together (to avoid talks) they reportedly also left in different cars.
