Ex-beauty Queen turned enterprenur, Dabota Lawson has reportedly welcomed her first child, a baby girl. According to our source, Dabota delivered her pitter patter of tiny feet in Texas, USA Yesterday Saturday October 8, 2016.
Sources close to Dabota allege that her mum is presently with her in Texas attending to Omugwo duties.

It would be recalled that Dabota filled for divorce from her billioniare hubby, Sunny Aku back in February 2016 on grounds of irreconcilable differences, but they later reconciled in April, (read here if you missed it)

Five years later, one of the late actor’s widows, Adeola also passed on after a motor accident on Friday, April 22, 2016.

Troops of 13 Brigade, 82 Division, Nigerian Army, have in a coordinated operation arrested a suspected high ranking militant kingpin Mr. Victory Benjamin (aka Abuja Daddy and G3) and 3 others.



The kingpin was arrested at Saint Joseph Hospital, Ikot Ene junction, Akpabuyo Local Government Area of Cross Rivers State while attempting to collect ransom from one of their kidnap a victim’s relations.

In a related development, troops of the same formation have also arrested 3 militants with locally made pistol and some cartridges while robbing victims around Refugees Camp at Efut Isigi in Bakassi Local Government Area, Cross Rivers State.

Meanwhile, troops have cordoned off the residents of the most wanted militant kingpin, Alias G1 still at large, as already the arrested militants known as “G2” and “G3” are providing useful information that would assist the military to track other criminals in the region. A while ago, A man named Zaradn Espee wrote about Musa Halidu A.K.A 'Mai Ice Cream' a man who has been selling ice cream for over three decades in Kaduna State.
He wanted to reward the vendor for not only all the free ice cream he gave him and other kids 30 years ago but to also make life easier for him. He called on well meaning Nigerians to contribute towards the cause. Not only did the post get many retweets, shares and reposts, many people made donation.

On Saturday, September 10th, he drove down to Kaduna and handed over the N110 realized from Nigerians who were touched by the post. Below is his account of the emotional moment:

"WE MADE A MAN CRY...What was supposed to be an ice cream delivery turned out to be a big surprise for Musa Halidu A.K.A Mai ice cream as this group of people gathered and presented him with a total contribution of N110k, out of which 40k was given to him in cash and the balance of 70k to be deposited in an account he will open after sallah. And that's not all because my Og Bello Aliyua gave him new pairs of clothing for the festivity. To our surprise, he remembered the schools we went to in kaduna and also revealed that the free ice cream and Lolly we had was paid for from his pocket.

We listened to his challenges and encouraged him to make good use of his funds as it was time to retire from a trade of over 3 decades with very little to show for it. He couldn't help but get all emotional because it was a big deal to him considering he makes about 1k a day on that bicycle and he has a family to cater for.

I want to thank everyone for their support and also convey the appreciation of this humble man. You should've seen the priceless look on his face. Thank you again for making this possible"

Popular film maker, Charles Novia has revealed through his Facebook page that the public and the media who made bread seller turned model, Olajumoke Orisaguna, just used her to achieve their aim and has so far discarded her.

Novia on his Facebook page wrote that Olajumoke had suddenly disappear from the media after a brief moment of fame.

He however point out the misery behind the model’s disappearance from media after a rush of corporation endorsement and hype took her to stardom.

The filmmaker said; “we don’t hear anymore about the Bread seller turned model, Olajumoke Orisaguna. I wrote at the beginning of the media frenzy over her that she was just the flavor of the moment for a public looking for sweet distraction from realities in the polity and that she would be discarded by that same public and media once the curiosities wane. It’s happening now”

It was also said that most of her social media handles and pages, most especially her Instagram, was updated last about six weeks ago. But, it was gathered that she has been studying in Lagos and will only come back to the scene once she’s through with her education; a move which will also herald the launch of her Foundation.

Three alleged thieves who specialized in stealing telecommunication mast batteries were nabbed today at Emenike street off Ngwa Road in Aba, Abia State and brutally beaten by angry mob.

The suspects were caught with 15 lister batteries which are the change over batteries that power the MTN mast. One of them have been identified as Bakassi. Police arrived the scene after the mob had administered street justice and took them to Cameroon road Police barracks.

A mother of a set of triplet simply identified as Mrs Amadi was murdered at her home in Rumuekini a community in Obio-Akpor of Rivers state on Saturday September 10th. According to Facebook user, Theophilus Utchaychukwu who shared the story, the woman was murdered while her husband, Mboy Amadi, was out to watch a football match at a viewing center.


A yet to be identified person entered his house and stabbed the woman while she was in bed asleep with her daughter. The little girl woke up to notice a warm sticky fluid dripping and discovered it was her poor mother's blood. She ran out to call her dad who rushed home and carried his wife to a nearby clinic where the doctors on duty certified her dead.

Fourteen workers with Nestoil in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State were abducted by unknown gunmen on Saturday, September 3rd.

The workers were reportedly returning from their work site at Omoku area enroute to Port Harcourt when they were ambushed by the kidnappers. The gunmen forcefully diverted the staff bus to an unknown destination under heavy gunfire.
The Public Relations Officer of River State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni, who confirmed the incident stated that anti-kidnapping teams are combing the bushes in efforts to rescue the workers, according to Sahara Reporters.
Mr. Omoni said police have located the company's Costa van and expressed optimism that the workers will be rescued.
