Some of us will still be alive when christ shall come on his second coming. He actually came(first coming) to bring us to immortality(life), he didnt talk much about him bring us to heaven, he dwelt on bring us life right here on earth.
I think opening a thread concerning raputre will really be an eye opeener cos there are so many things that we have believed but not in the bible.
Heaven is the habitation of God... where the saints (dead and living) would rise (rapture) to meet with our Lord Jesus and the host of heaven (i.e the 2nd coming).

Purpose of the 2nd coming:

To take the saints to their home (heaven) cos of the great tribulation coming down upon the earth (to destroy ALL who failed to accept/follow the way of our lord JESUS).

Know it that, after RAPTURE, there would be great CRY & CHAOS. Its a time when some strong head non-believers would mock the the christians who didn't go with the rapture... they'll mock and laugh at pastors who didnt make it... There would be great CRY in all parts of the world..

Meanwhile, the governments of ANTI-CHRIST would come to stay, controlling the government on earth... '666' would be introduced and infact we've seen the traces already.. ITS a matter of time.. a very short time.

I guess I have to start a new thread on rapture...
You said sweet words just like how preachers of today would have said but without any scriptural back up. The bible talked about we coming back to the earth to reign with christ. We are not going to heaven. we are coming back to the earth. If u talk about a new earth, it would have been better. Pls let us be bible based and not just scraps that is all over the place this days.

5much: what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and looses his soul.
the most important aim of the devil is to rob christians of their heavenly home by providing worldly pleasures and make us forget our real home.
a real christian who is heavenly conscious, who believes that heaven provides the better of the best njoyment&pleasures will not hesitate to deny all these for the love of being wt the almighty.
show/tell me d most impt thing in dis world n i'll show u the most impt vanity.
YES I CAN

U said it all.

Please where is this heaven christians are always talking about. is it not those dead will meet those of us alive on earth and we reign with christ together. We have painted pictures from our mind not what bible is saying.

Honestly talking, Jesus is whom i will go for. If such question of take jesus, or they will have all my family shot, I will ask them to my family or in another scene, you can take away my life for the sake of jesus. I cant let go jesus because of my life. Its quiet a hard decision but i will do it.
Like paul wrote, who shall separate us from the love of christ Rom.8:35
The goal is not heaven, those that died in christ are coming back to the earth to meet those of us that are alive.
Jesus came to bring life, the bible said we should lay hold onto eternal life. It is high time we start checking our bible to lay hold to the promises Jesus told us about.
Let me give us a secret, paul died more once during his exploit for jesus. Fighting the good fight of faith, laying hold to eternal life

I think the more we see christianity as a religion the more confused we are gonna get. The bible is our standard. The bible said it is as many that are led by the spirit are the sons of God and not those that brought christianity to somewhere or what a few. God is the God of the universe. I believe christianity also bring solutions to people's problem and can be through any way so far the glory is to jesus. Although christianity in nigeria has been taken badly in nigeria, that does not call for the condemnation or destruction of the christian faith. Let us follow the bible, it is our standard. the more you look at men to behave as a christian and not checking it with the standard of the scripture, the more confused we are gonna get. CHRISTIANITY IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME.

Some of us re wrong here pls. Yes we need to work hard. Prayer or church or christianity as d case may be is not only for material things but also and majorly for spiritual edification and spiritual growth. Prayer mortifies our flesh to hear God, it saves us when no logical tin or human law av been expended. Christians are in this world but not of this world. There re laid down success princple in this world that u can engage urself and u wil make it onthis world. What is ur hope of hereafter, ur stand as far as salvation is concerned, your manner to fellow human being and ur relationship with others. We pray to enforce his will on earth and to make it home. I love prayer that is seasoned with the word of God especialy

i havent watched this video but wanna ask if this is a spiritual or circular song?
going by the evaluation and the development here, non of the evaluation is spiritual at all. some said it graphics, its ok, but expecting to hear the lyrics is like. its just what i notice

Dont let us take this issue personal, let us look into it critically.
Majority posted here to side/favor dis girl and blamed or abuse d guy. If i am reporting somtin, there is a way i can put it that i wont be guilty or not too guilty. Can we sincerely ask this lady who she is, who guy really is, her church and other tins?
After this, i think we an continue from there.
If you are spiritually right standing, just keep praying and optimistic. God bless you and all the poster here.

Pls, i am nt a blind supporter of th joshua bt if i see the truth, i acknowledge it is d truth, otherwise, i declare it as lies.
So far by d grace of God, i have not watched, seen anytin on tb joshua dat is evil thru emmanuel tv, tb joshua blogs, which re d only reliable source as others as been hijacked by d devil to propagate evil concernin him even nairaland is not counted out.
I never heard anytin like bald head score a goal. It was actualy somebodies thoughts
he only said 'chelsea needs more prayer to win than bayern'.and also only stopped @first half. Be careful to quickly believe and transmit news. God bless nigeria, God bless the body of christ. Peace

Hmmmmm... Dis is a MOG indeed
it is nt about d football but as he said, preaching d word with power, God is nt only interested in our spiritual life alone but also our physical life. Shalom

I call my mother IYA MI, that is my mother while at home

Many of us has sincerely spoken well on this platform. let me even say God bless the bringer of topics like this.
as it has been said earlier, let our contribution be based on the bible and not just hear say.
Rom.10:10, start from 8 down to 12, we will get some explanation as regards this.
it is this *to be sure mentality that we have and our emotions that makes us give our life to christ evry now and then. once saved, u re saved foreva bt u can rededicate ursef wen u need to especcially wen u av sinned.
we really need to study our bible abd wit the help of the holyghost, u re sure of right explanation of the bible.
more strength in this christian work in jesus name.
more of topics like this to edify ourselves*

wht abt mal. 3:10
wht is the explanation that we want again
It is an act that unlocks the financial flow to those that does such faithfully
beware of educational, technological, intellectual demons

Pls where did Jesus say we should pay tithe, pls I would be so glad to see it. And in case you dont even know, new testament started after the death and ressurection of Jesus cos that is when we were redeemed.
When Jesus was still here on earth, people were still living in the old testament becos His blood had not yet cleansed us. If you doubt this fact, say so and I will give u instances from the Bible.

reply
this is taking a new turn anyway from you
as regards d bible chapter matt 23:23 is the place
for d new testament, those that believd in jesus were washed and saved already
jesus is the lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world.
let the holyghost explain more.

i disagree with majority of us on this topic
we just sit back @home punching our computers withot even coming out to vote
I believe other parties like the ACN is a better alternatives to d ruined PDP
let us be fair and optimistic in the issue of our dear country
SW is getting better for it as there re various transforming projects there
I continually pray those in power that God shud use them to better our lives
to say others are worst or useless is wht i disagree with
GOD BLESS NIGERIA. AMEN

the standard of the lord standeth sure, we should not use human calculation to explain the things of God
this kingdom is theocracy and nt democracy.
jesus made it known that we shud pay tithes in the gospel when he was explaining hyprocracy of the jews, paying tithes of even vegetables, and other minute things but didnt exhibit one of the important instruction of jesus
we should be careful with d way we respond to question as regards christian issues.
ask for explainations from the holyghost b4 we post here.
it is well
