hotplate: I don't know why but I always have to wait and strike over and over again before I eventually breakthrough. I have prayed severally to God to break me out of this yoke. For instance I wrote WAEC twice the second time I made all my 5 credit, I wrote Jamb 3 times and in all of these I was always aceing it but I'll still be denied admission or given a course I don't like. when I finally gained admission and graduated I narrowly slipped making a 2.1 despite all the effort I put in. after that NYSC turn wahala while every other persons got mobilized one thing led to another and made me wait one whole year before going for service now it's 2years after service yet have still not been able to secure a Job yet despite the several interview I've done. just recently the Edo state civil service recruitment I scored 82 in my category making me the highest in the role I applied for yet first batch list of those given the job came out without my name on it am still praying and hoping it comes out in the second batch. Hebrews 10:16-22 (KJV) This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. We continue today our study and understanding of the love and grace of God as manifested in the COVENANT POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS with all its blessings and benefits to us. Let's continue to examine the reasons why it was necessary for God to establish a new covenant:
20. The New Covenant Has Better Promises: Being a perfect blood, the blood of Jesus has provided for us a better covenant with better promises. Promises of divine nature with all heavenly blessings. The new covenant is operated from heaven with a heavenly sanctuary and a heavenly High Priest. All previous covenants were operated from the earth, with temporary earthly sanctuary, earthly priesthood and provided only earthly promises and blessings. By the new covenant all things are ours, all things are for our sake, all things are working together for our good and nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. I pray for you that every weapon formed against you shall fail and every gathering against you shall be scattered in Jesus name. Genesis 1:28; Ephesians 1:3; 1Corinthians 3:21-23; Hebrews 8:6; 9:1-22.
21. The New Covenant Has a Perfect High Priest With A Perfect Mediator: By the blood of Jesus, Jesus was made the High Priest of the new covenant. A high priest is a mediator between God and man. The priesthood of Jesus is perfect because He is mediating with His own perfect blood not the blood of animals. Also, being 100% God and 100% man He has a perfect understanding of the heart of God and all the weaknesses and challenges of men, as such He is able to mediate and intercede on our behalf. He lived as a human being here on earth for thirtythree and half years and was tempted with every temptation of man. Therefore there can be no charge or accusations or condemnation against us because we have a perfect High Priest, a perfect mediator, a perfect blood and a perfect covenant working for us. John 1:1-3,14; 1Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 2:9-18; 4:14-16; 7:11-28; 8:6; 9:15; 12:24.
22. The New Covenant Provided Propitiation for the whole World: The blood of Jesus provided the full propitiation for the sins of all men thereby abolishing the law of sin and death. It is because of the blood of the new covenant that was shed for the sins of all mankind that the anger and judgement of God on all sins and sinners have been differed to the end of time, despite all the wickedness in the world. With His blood Jesus stands continually in the presence of God pleading mercy and grace for all mankind. As a result, He is called a merciful and gracious High Priest who understands our feelings and weaknesses. Hence the new Covenant is called a covenant of mercy and grace in line with the throne of God which is also called the throne of grace and mercy in Hebrews 4:16. Also most of the epistles of the new testament begins with grace and ends with grace. May you find grace and mercy for all your needs in Jesus name. 2Corinthians 5:19; John 1:29; 1John 2:1-2; 3:5.
The purpose of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the blood of Jesus has done for you and has made you, and no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the blood of Jesus which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.
If you need healing the bible says In Matthew 8:17 that Jesus himself took all our sicknesses and diseases. Therefore you can receive your healing now by faith in the name of Jesus. Just lay your hand on the affected area and say this prayer. Father God in the name of Jesus I believe that Jesus died for my healing. I believe he took all my sickness and diseases on the cross. If he took them then I cannot have them. Therefore I resist and I reject every sickness in my body and I confess Jesus today as my healer and I receive my healing now. Thank you Jesus that I am healed. 1Peter 2:24; Ps 107:20. Now begin to do what you couldn't do before because of the sickness. You are healed in Jesus name.
