Through out the night the man couldn't sleep because he was thinking of how togive you his last 10k. Morning came and he called you into the room to give you 9k instead of 10k and you squeezed your face in discontent and reluctantly said thank you after complaining it's not complete. Your mum after seeing this will not say anything but will meet you in your roomwhere your dad isn't and give you 2k from her own money and say "don't mind him, use this one to complete it" smile from nowhere will enclave your face, you quickly go to facebook and whatsapp to write "I have the best mum in the world, i love my mum". Now your dad had gone out again with just 1k in his pocket home and abroad to top up fuel or use as transport to work. He will never let you see this because he is a MAN. Always try to appreciate your Dad for no reason because you won't know how your life would have turned out without a fatherly figure in it..

Dads are priceless too o!...

Point of correction. Doctors can disrespect other health professionals because they are not their rivals. But if there is disrespect by nigerian doctors to JOHESU, it is simply reactionary due to their (JOHESU) continued challenge of the doctors. Imagine a graduate of medical laboratory science hanging stethoscope on his neck and saying he is a diagnostic doctor. Can u imagine that? Does that happen in your civilized setting?

In Nigeria, every one working in the hospital is answering a doctor. Doctors can't just fold hand and watch them. So any action by the doctors is reactionary. Otherwise, what does a doctor gain by victimizing a nurse who has done him no wrong. But when a nurse starts claiming he /she can do what d doctors can do...I wonder!! My brother, just reason that.

You want to be paid same salary as the doctors in your level, where in this world is that practicable... I weep for this Country. Consultancy for what?, for getting old and close to retirement. Patients will be further Decieved and will die like fowls. A Pharmacist sees a naïve patients, instead of claiming to be a pharmacist, will say I am a consultant, the gullible patient, thinking he means medical specialist may end that session is morbidity or mortality. Shame really, but we are in a confirmed shit hole though.

A consultant surgeon made a treatment outline,a honorary consultant nurse was then the wife of then CMD in UCH ibadan and discontinued the consultant treatment plan and made her own treatment plan,she even said the consultant surgeon should have contacted her before making his plans.
guess what- d consultant nurse was stripped of her rank immediately because d then CMD was under soo much threat.

Sorry for the loss. But you could have easily sued the defaulting Doctor who had committed that grievous error which lead to his death. Autopy though comes with much financial responsibilities but It would have helped you to fight your just course.

No man is infallible; I'm in no way justifying his actions or inactions but you might have made the same mistake if you were in his shoes.
Doctors only treats and hope for the best, meanwhile, it's only God and maybe fate that determines who survive or not.

When I read this JOHESU vs Doctors thing, I just laugh. How will you expect a doctor who has spent like 13-14 years in training as a CONSULTANT to be addressed and have equal benefits with someone who has years of experience. Think about it. So, if a consultant draws out a treatment plan for his/her patient, a nurse who has years of experience can change it because he/she now answers the name CONSULTANT. in the long run, is patients that will suffer it.

Pharmacists in Nigeria feel they are medical doctors because they assess patients who have been diagnosed and are already put on a treatment plan by medical doctors in the pharmacy.
You don't touch patients skin and you say you are equivalent to a medical doctor who doesnt perform surgeries. You guys are funny in Nigeria.

You are not informed .Medicine and Nursing are different professions . A nurse is a consultant in surgical nursing not a consultant in surgery. Its the duty of the Dr to do the surgery and its the duty of the nurse to prepare that patient for surgery and nurse that patient to health after the surgery !! So I don't see why Drs should be fighting over noting. I don't blame them they are judge in their own case

I no be doctor. Non of my family members are doctors. In fact some of them are johesu members. But I agree fully with the doctors on this. RELATIVITY IS SACROSANCT.

If u wanna be treated like a doctor, then just go and become a doctor!! Make we just stop all this ego and arm twisting. That is what is taking us backwards in this country.

Aa a chartered accountant and a masters degree holder with over a decade professional experience, I will find it very annoying if someone who has a mere B.sc accounting plus few years experience is placed on the same level and salary scale as myself in an office. The same situation applies here

They even killed my dad thinking I will not know but luckily one the colleague revealed the error while blaming his colleague without knowing I am the son. They were lucky that I did not record it, hence I took no legal action as advised by our family lawyer. I hope to president this country some day just to deal with them thoroughly. I have a master plan already in my mind.
