Business › Re: First Bank Allegedly Forges Documents Against Whiteplains British School by emmanuelex1(m): 10:28pm On Jul 09, 2018 |
Nigeria freelancers will be among the population to suffer from this terrible image Nigeria is upgrading to. Afro3: FIRST BANK Plc ALLEGEDLY FORGES DOCUMENTS AGAINST WHITEPLAINS BRITISH SCHOOL, FLOUTS COURT JUDGEMENT.
The court case between Whiteplains British School, Jabi Abuja and First Bank Plc is far from over as First Bank appears bent in illegally taking over the property known as Whiteplains British Secondary School located at Jabi, Abuja. During an interview with the Director of Whiteplains British School, he had the following words to explain…”in 2005, Whiteplains British School took an initial loan of N450,000,000 (four hundred and fifty million naira only) from GTBank. Subsequently, we needed another loan of N200, 000, 000 (two hundred million naira), which GTBank appeared hesitant in giving us. We were however approached by First Bank Nigeria Plc that they were ready and willing to help us with the loan. First Bank paid off the initial loan of N450, 000, 000 and went further to credit our account with the sum of N200, 000, 000” As it stands now, First Bank Plc is said to be eager to obtain the property at all costs and went the extra mile to allegedly forge a document known as tripartite mortgage. In that tripartite mortgage, First Bank claims that Dr. L.C. Ibe, a former permanent secretary of the Federal Ministry of Water Resources, signed as surety in the year 2014, claiming Dr. L.C. Ibe signed as surety that in the event of failure of Whiteplains British School to pay the loan, First Bank Plc can obtain ownership of the property. Meanwhile, it is clearly on record that Dr. L.C. Ibe, the so-called surety as claimed by First Bank, died in 2013, and was in fact buried on a Friday, March 15th 2013. Can a dead man sign a document? First Bank has refused to answer this all-important question. This is no doubt a criminal act. It might also interest the general public to know Dr. L.C. Ibe, the man whose signature was allegedly forged by First Bank plc, is the seller of the property to the management of Whiteplains British School, and therefore cannot sign a surety for property which he has already sold. In accordance with the rule of law, the management of Whiteplains British School took the issue to court and tried to obtain a fair hearing. At the end of the court hearing, Justice B.F.M. Nyako of the Federal High Court Abuja passed judgment on the 19th of December 2016, and it states the following- the 1 and 2 questions are answered in the affirmative. Consequently I hereby order as per the reliefs sought with modifications. Relief 1, Mr. Bola Olotu is the duly appointed receiver appointed by the 1stapplicant and can perform all the duties stated therein without being visible in the administration of the school so as not to traumatize the students. Flowing from the above, relief 2 is granted with the modification that Mr. Bola Olotu takes over, finance activity of the school. Relief 3 is granted with very minimal presence of uniformed policemen at the school premises. Relief 4 is granted with the emphasis that the sharing formula should be used so that the school remains open and operational with teachers and staff salaries paid. Relief 5 is not granted. Only monies relating to the facility should be lodged with the 1st applicant account. In addition, the 1st applicant should enable the 1st respondent access to the properties used as collateral for the Guaranty Bank loan so that they can sell off same to enable them repay the loan with them. All efforts by Whiteplains British School to appeal to the good conscience of First Bank has repeatedly failed, and the school is left with no other option than to take this matter to the doorstep of public conscience in the light that First Bank would henceforth rescind on there double standards and dishonest acts of flouting court judgments. Moreover, on the 8th July 2018, officials of First Bank Plc came with armed policemen to erect an illegal fence across the main entrance gates of Whiteplains British secondary school. This is the extent to which First Bank Plc intends to erode the judgment of the Federal High Court. The board, management and staff of Whiteplains British School, hereby call on First Bank to stop the total disregard of court judgments and also calls on relevant authorities to help temper justice with facts, as we continue to pledge our undying commitment to contributing to the development of Nigeria’s educational sector. It is common knowledge that Whiteplains British School is recipient to several awards including a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations, Platinum Award for Education Development in FCT 2013, Best Secondary School 2012 by the Institute of Government Research & Development, 2010 and 2011 Teen ICT Favorite School Award, Africa Entrepreneurs Merit Award, Nigeria Entrepreneurs Award and several others. With its background in educational forte, we remain committed to our calling and will not trade evil for evil. http://supremetv.com.ng/2018/07/09/first-bank-plc-allegedly-forges-documents-against-whiteplains-british-school-flouts-court-judgement/ ex |

K ooooo Barzinime: I wonder if Nigerians think well, cos you all talk about is Presidential elections,what about Senatorial? I am sure you dont care about who wins that. Lagos State is busy developing & Ambode doesnt even have time talking trash cos he is busy with his job, but Fayose, FFK, Dino & the likes that have nothing to offer are the one saying this & that and havent done anything reasonable within their domain and you lots that have absolute no understanding of what is happening just want someone to tell you what you want to hear so you can vent your anger. Nigerians want to enjoy but dont want to go through the processes that brings prosperity. When Buhari wins the 2019 elections i wonder what you will do? are you going to kill yourself? cos statistically i see no candidate i see that can defeat him. So i worry myself over things i have control over. Better to know now & give yourself peace of mind. |

Daddy Freeze never misses an opportunity to call out Nigerian pastors.
The controversial OAP has reacted to Facebook CEO, mark Zuckerberg being the 3rd richest man in the world.
According to Daddy Freeze, Mark paid no tithes or first fruit to achieve that. He wrote;
"Third richest man in the world, no tithes, no first fruit, no seeds to Pentecostal principalities, no money given to pastors for prayers. - This year alone he has given &3.58 billion to charity. - Non of the top 10 richest in the world are tithe payers or even Pentecostals. - God doesn’t need your money, the poor do! If you want to give money to God, give to the poor, NOT TO PASTORS! Mat25:32-41 explains this clearly! - There is NOWHERE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT where Christians were told to give money to pastors, or the church, the New Testament giving went to the poor, yours too should go there as well! - Tithing is the law Heb7:5 if you practice some parts of the law without practicing all of it it brings a curse Gal3:10 and you fall away from God’s grace Gal5:4. - Stop paying tithes to pulpit bandits, it attracts a curse and cuts you away from Christ, little wonder Jesus or the disciples never collected it! ~FRZ - #FreeTheSheeple"
Mark Zuckerberg is now worth $81.6 billion, nearly $400 million more than Buffett.

Politics › Re: Hausa, Fulani Flee Attacks From Taraba Militia by emmanuelex1(m): 9:48am On Jul 08, 2018 |
Yet southwest is still yet to understand this history Mbeki: HOW YOURBA SACKED FULANIS IN OSHOGBO WAR
After the Fulanis systematically captured and made Ilorin their territory, they sacked the old Oyo Empire in 1835/1636. They were still not satisfied with their victory; they wished to extend their rule deep into the heart of Yoruba land. Thus in 1840, they set to capture Osogbo, a Yoruba town. The Fulanis, under the command of Ali, the Hausa balogun of Ilorin, laid siege on Osogbo. When the king of Osogbo realized that the Ilorins were too strong for the Osogbo army, he summoned the Ibadans for help. Ibadan immediately sent some auxiliaries to Osogbo under the command of Obele alias Mobitan, and Alade Abimpagun. As this force could not stop the Ilorins, another contingent was sent to Osogbo under a more experienced leader. But still the Ilorins won every battle and gained more ground. When Ibadan realized that the Ilorins were becoming more threatening to Yoruba land, they sent a large and stronger force under Balogun Oderinlo to crush the intruding forces and Jammas of Ilorin. When Oderinlo and his men arrived at the battlefield, they realized that things had gone worse than they thought. They could not show their faces in the open field for the fear of the Ilorin horses, and for about 20 days after their arrival at Osogbo, they could not fight outside the town thickets. Oderinlo suggested that Elepo, a brave Ibadan warrior was badly needed at the war-front. Elepo had been rejected by the war-chiefs of Ibadan for his actions at the late Agbamaja expedition. As soon as the message from Oderinlo reached Ibadan, the Bashorun wished he could send Elepo to Osogbo but could not go against the wish of other war-chiefs. The Bashorun gave Elepo a cow to worship his god, Ori, and pray for the victory of Ibadan at the war-front. At the war-front, the Ibadan could not attack the Ilorins during the day because Osogbo was practically in a plain and the Ilorin horses might have advantage of them with disastrous results. They decided to attack at dusk when the Ilorins would no longer be able to use their horses. About 2:pm, the well prepared Ibadan army left the gate of Osogbo for the battlefield. They were to keep a strict watch and arrest anyone suspected to be a spy. About a mile from the Ilorin camp, they halted and arranged the order of the attack. The Osogbo army and the earlier auxiliaries were to handle the center of the battlefield, chiefs Abitiko and Labuju were to command the right wing, Balogun Oderinlo with the rest of the Ibadan war-chiefs were to form the left wing of the army. The Ilorin camp was then attacked at midnight. The watchword was “Elo ni owo odo?” (How much is the ferry fare?). The reason this watchword was chosen was because the river Osun had to be crossed in entering Osogbo from the south, and anyone who could not tell this was likely to be an enemy. Stampede engulfed the Ilorin camp as the Ibadan army set it on fire. The Ilorins could not offer the slightest resistance; they were smoked with the gunpowder of the Ibadan guns. This attack was a success for the Ibadan. Some Ilorin war-chiefs were captured in the attack. Prominent ones were:
Jimba the head slave of the Emir; One of the sons of Ali the commander in chief; Chief Lateju; Ajikobo the Yoruba Balogun of Ilorin. |

Please can you focus on the certificate forgery. Learn to take things one after the other. Let's deal with Kemi first, then we face others too. Throwback: FFK is just too condescending a human being.
Not every Nigerian had a politician father to have been able to afford the education of an aristocrat like he did, and he needs to tone down his disregard for every other human except himself. Same way he referred to Amaechi as the son of a palm wine tapper.
His education is yet to take him to heights that those whose fathers were farmers or palm wine tappers have reached in the corporate world or politics.
FFK remains undistinguished in the corporate world or in his law profession. In politics, he never contested nor won an elective position, having only political appointment at the magnanimity of Obasanjo and Jonathan whose fathers were nobody, nor were they themselves graduates from any prestigious school.
As for Kemi Adeosun, just like the NYSC exemption case of Diezani Madueke on the eve of political appointments, this matter should never be swept under the carpet, and for a sack to be found merited, the associated criminal prosecution must never be avoided.
We who did the mandatory National Service with all the sacrifices, must never be overlooked for those who were in foreign land only to come back to reap positions of power and influence they do not deserve, regardless of their education, experience or global fame. |
