Tinubu must be joking if he is think you can intimidate IGBOS in Lagos to vote for APC. Even you start killing Igbos they will still not vote for APC. IGBOS do support any person because of fear. Las las he will only cause more trouble in Lagos. This is one the reasons North will continue ruling this country. Lajet: LAGOS – FORMER Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Bode George, Wednesday, cautioned National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu against what he described as THE harassment of Igbo residents in Lagos.
In a statement George frowned at the recent use of thugs and hired urchins and low-lives allegedly used to harass and unleash mayhem on the people of the South East in Lagos describing it “reprehensible, condemnable, sickening and very dangerous.” The statement reads: “This clearly ill-advised jungle justice on fellow Nigerians whose offense is basically the fact that they voted according to their conscience is capable of provoking a reprisal attack and a greater cataclysm that may graduate into a fury that no one would be able to control.
“Since yesterday I have been talking to various stakeholders from the South East to be restrained and calm and not to let the unfortunate incident widen into another violent scenario that may consume the nation itself. “I am appealing to President Buhari to call Bola Tinubu to order lest his reckless penchant of mobilizing thugs against all perceived enemies does not ricochet into the tragedies of 1962 and 1963 which eventually triggered the Nigerian Civil war.
“Lagos is a mini Nigeria. It is the most accommodating and the most friendly entity in the Nigerian space. We welcome everyone with vivid embrace and with sincerity of purpose. We are the Nigerian melting pot, encouraging traders and various merchants to bring their gods for sale. We do not discriminate. If we had discriminated against Tinubu himself, he could never have risen to the level of relevance which he has achieved today in our Lagos. “We need peace in Lagos. We do not need hired hands sponsored to disrupt business activities of fellow Nigerians.”

ATIKU should start getting ready for 2023 elections. He get landslide victory then because he is going to contest against a southern candidate. GistkitNG: President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday thanked God and Nigerians for the victory in the 2019 presidential election that was conducted on February 23.
He said this in his acceptance speech on Wednesday morning at his presidential campaign headquarters in Abuja shortly after the INEC chairman declared him as the winner.
The President also stated that his administration would continue to fight corruption, insecurity and improve on the economy.
“The new administration will intensify its efforts in security, restructuring the economy and fighting corruption. We have laid down the foundation and we are committed to seeing matters to the end. We will strive to strengthen our unity and inclusiveness so that no section or group will feel left behind or left out,” he told jubilant supporters.
His speech read in detail, “First and foremost, I give thanks to Almighty God Who has spared our lives to witness another victory for Nigerian democracy and victory for our party, the APC.
“I thank the millions of Nigerians who voted to re-elect me as your president for the next four years. I am deeply humbled and profoundly grateful to you for judging me worthy of continuing to serve you and for your peaceful conduct.
“In particular, I would like to thank Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for his masterful leadership as Co-chair of the Campaign Council. I would like to also thank the party chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, the Director General of the Campaign Council Rotimi Amaechi, all members of the Presidential Campaign Council and other various support groups.
“My thanks to all those who contributed to the logistical expenses of the campaign in such a vast country like Nigeria.
“I also thank the millions of volunteers, self-appointed overseers, canvassers, agents, escorts and sentries who sacrificed so much of their time and resources to ensure the success of these elections. I do not have the words adequate to thank them.
“Although Saturday’s elections were relatively peaceful, troublemakers in a handful of states attempted to disrupt an otherwise orderly process. Security agencies will bring to justice all those arrested in the process.
“I am very sad at the grievous loss of lives during these elections. Security agencies will step up their efforts to protect voters in the forthcoming state elections.
“I would like to commend our security agencies, as severely overstretched as they are, for handling the difficult task of securing the country during the election period.
“I will like to make a special appeal to my supporters not to gloat or humiliate the opposition. Victory is enough reward for your efforts.
“We give thanks also to our domestic and international observers for contributing to the success of our elections and for their interest in our country and our developing democracy.
“The new administration will intensify its efforts in security, restructuring the economy and fighting corruption. We have laid down the foundation and we are committed to seeing matters to the end. We will strive to strengthen our unity and inclusiveness so that no section or group will feel left behind or left out.”

Is that people who rigged Yobe presidential election are illiterates, how can they make this error? ararumeteam: BREAKING | PDP Asks INEC to Stop Results Collation ‘Immediately’ SIGNAL on February 26, 2019 at 8:39 pm The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to immediately stop the collation of results of the presidential election.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday evening, Tanimu Turaki (SAN), Deputy Director (Administration) of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization, who spoke on behalf of Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, urged the commission to suspend further announcement of results from states.
Buhari is currently leading according to figures collated from more than 20 states.
Speaking on the collation at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja, Turaki said: “The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) demands, in line with the commitment to a transparent, free and fair election, an immediate halt to the on-going collation of results by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), until data from the smart card reader accreditation at the polling units are made available to all the parties in the election.
“The PDP predicates its demand on available evidence to the effect that data from the card readers are being reconfigured to suit the manipulations, rigging and over-voting already carried out during the election in some states by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Already, the PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, has communicated this position of our party to the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu. We have evidence from the smart card reader accreditation data that what is being announced by INEC has been seriously tampered with and manipulated.”
The party went on to cite instances where elections were allegedly rigged.
Turaki continued: “In the meantime, we demand the immediate and outright cancellation of Presidential election results in Yobe, Zamfara, Nasarawa and Borno states as submitted by INEC presiding officers and ask for the conduct of fresh elections in these states.
“In Yobe, the total number of votes submitted as cast was more than the number of accredited voters. Whereas the number of accredited voters was 601,056, the total votes cast was 775, 449. This is a clear case of over-voting which, by the provisions of the Electoral Act, renders the election null and void. In such instance, the law provides for another election on a day to be fixed by INEC.
“In Zamfara state, no actual voting took place and there was no single result sheet in any polling unit in the entire state. There was an arrest in Shinkafi Local Government, where an APC member was caught thumb-printing ballot papers inside his house. Results from the presiding officer from Zamfara were concocted and allocated according to the wishes of the leadership of the APC and INEC. The PDP therefore demands the outright deletion of the results from Zamfara from INEC records and a conduct of free, fair and credible Presidential election in Zamfara state.
“Also in Borno state, there was no election but a figure writing exercise and allocation of results according to the whims and caprices of the APC leaders. We also demand the outright deletion of the results from Borno from INEC records and a conduct of free, fair and credible Presidential election in Borno state.
“In Nasarawa, the PDP demands the immediate restoration of our over 157,000 lawful and valid votes which were unlawfully and arbitrarily cancelled by INEC and the announcement of the actual results from the field.
“Similarly, the PDP demands an immediate restoration of our over 79,000 valid votes which were unlawfully cancelled by INEC in Kogi state and the announcement of the authentic results inclusive of the restored 79,000 votes
“In the FCT, the PDP demands the restoration of 27,000 valid votes unlawfully and arbitrarily cancelled by INEC and a declaration of the authentic result, inclusive of our restored 27,000 votes.
“In Plateau, the PDP demands the immediate restoration of our over 30,000 lawful and valid votes, which were unlawfully cancelled particularly in Jos North and the declaration of the genuine results as delivered at the polling units inclusive of our 30,000 restored votes.
“The PDP therefore calls on Nigerians to disregard the results until INEC provides the data from the smart card reader accreditation at the polling units, conducts fresh election in Borno, Yobe and Zamfara states as well as restore our votes in Plateau, FCT, Kogi and Nasarawa states.
“The PDP maintains that from the actual votes delivered at the polling units, which we all have, Nigerians clearly and unequivocally gave their mandate to Atiku Abubakar.”

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Rejects Presidential Results In Anambra by emmanuelex1(m): 7:33pm On Feb 26, 2019 |
Now I understand why Buhari removed the CJN before the election. APC has dealt with Nigeria politics. globemoney: Vice presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Mr Peter Obi, on Tuesday, said the results declared by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from Anambra state was unacceptable to the party.
He accused the electoral umpire of disenfranchising over 8 million registered voters in the South East Geo-political Zone in the last general election.
Addressing newsmen in his Onitsha residence, Obi further lamented that the election was systematically planned to ensure the zone did not participate fully in the exercise.
He argued that only 20% were able to cast their votes out of 10 million registered voters in the area.
He said, “You will recall that on the election day I said that the process was clumsy and we also had major problem of card readers and most people could not vote.
“When over 400,000 Card Readers got burnt it became clear that something was wrong somewhere and INEC could not save the situation and they will not allow people to vote manually.
“But in some other parts of the country people are allowed to vote manually and it was accepted by the electoral body. Now how can you tell me that a state like Yobe and Bornu produced the number of voters that is higher than Anambra and Ebony states put together?
“The two states are areas that have been at war and I wonder how they got Card Readers that are working so well despite the war situation that they found themselves?
Obi regretted the retrogressive disposition the country was tilting to, noting that instead of the country building on achievements of the 2015 general election the country was on a reverse
He added, “The impressive turn out of voters was discouraged by the performance of the electoral body last Saturday.
Obi further decried the harassment and attack members of his party had suffered in the hands of security agencies targeted at intimidating them.
He however hinted that it was not in his powers to announce any demand for the cancellation of the election, saying, “It is left for the party to make its position clear on the matter.”

Okay ooo we shall see how it will play out SamNaijaboy: okay, LOL
I'm betting for Fayemi/Shettima or Fayemi/Mohamed Abubakar of Bauchi or Osinbajo/Shettima or Osinbajo/Current Senior NE Governor. Fayemi because he is the only one left that is Christian Senior Governor in the SW in 2023 and on good terms with Tinubu and delivered his state massively to PMB. Akeredolu fighting Tinubu was short-sighted. Although understandable since Tinubu never wanted him to be gov. Akeredolu with his SE wife would have been perfect. Whether the Ogun/Lagos Axis will let Fayemi be will be another issue. That's why it is likely to be Osinbajo. |

Save your self this analysis till then. You will understand reason the the born to rule mentality by the North SamNaijaboy: I know for sure that the SS won't just hand over the PDP ticket to the North in 2023.
The SE may be trying to because while they may win the PDP battle (SS just left power in 2015), APC is likely to give the ticket to SW and SW will likely win SE in a general election anyday because the North likely wouldn't vote SE to be on top of the ticket because of Biafran agitation. See what the Biafran agitation has done to the SE?
I think that is why you are saying what you are saying. I think the SE knows they can;t match up with the SW and the SS and so may be willing to allow the north rule. However before they sabotage, the Wikes and the SS gladiators will likely stop them in their tracks in the PDP |

It will happen like film and we will all watch it helplessly SamNaijaboy: And all the Southerners in the PDP will be watching like mumus right? Wike who is funding the party has no ambitions? which other region of the PDP has the financial fire-power of the SS? You forgot that PDP explicitly zoned its presidential ticket to the North this time around and told Atiku we expect you to only do 4 yrs (trying to get him to commit to only 4 yrs). Why? Not because of political expediency but because everyone knows its the North's turn to rule. GEJ lost in 2015 because it was the turn of the North (Y'Adua did only 2 yrs and died) and he was doing strong-head after 6 years after OBJ helped him beg the North to wait for 4 years in 2011. That's why all the Northern power-brokers abandoned him.
Same thing will likely happen to any Northerner that tries to take PDP or APC tickets in 2023. The South would/should abandon them and they won't even win the party tickets. |
Politics › Re: "The North Never Told Us They Do Not Like Suffering And Poverty" - Fani Kayode by emmanuelex1(m): 2:12pm On Feb 26, 2019 |
I am not here to argue about south, my point is North will rule this country till 2031 at least. If APC brings out a southerner come 2023, PDP will surely bring out a Norther for the purpose of collecting power from APC. It is a win win for the North. This is simple logic. SamNaijaboy: Old Biafra is a different story. That was the SE leaving, then hoping to coerce the Yoruba into leaving as well or hoping the Yoruba joins them. The Yorubas don't fight other people's wars for them. If the SW decides to leave, they would be the one spearheading their own effort. They don't need anybody's approval. I think the Yoruba are like 40-60million strong, right? The Yoruba don't go into positions or wars without thought or preparedness. They are too fun-loving and live and let live for that. However when they go to war, or take a collective decision, you better believe they are ready to win and for the consequences. SS not in a hurry to leave Nigeria? Maybe, maybe not. Why resource control agitations then? I bet they will seize the opportunity and leave should the Yoruba start spearheading the effort.
The SE will trust the North to help split the country? When the North is the one that is enjoying the benefits of being in Nigeria the most? Why would they help you and so hurt themselves? That makes no sense. |
Politics › Re: "The North Never Told Us They Do Not Like Suffering And Poverty" - Fani Kayode by emmanuelex1(m): 1:47pm On Feb 26, 2019 |
Really you think so? The problem is trust, South East does not trust Yoruba to help them actualize Biafra? The story of Ojukwu and Awolowo is still fresh in their mind. Southeast will rather trust the North to help them actualise Biafra than Southwest. South South is not a hurry or ready to leave Nigeria. Please just wait and see SamNaijaboy: Are you saying the SE doesn't want Biafra today? If they do, they probably still want it in 2023. Same thing for the SS. Forget it, if SW says we are leaving Nigeria, the SE and SS will jump at the opportunity to leave |
Politics › Re: "The North Never Told Us They Do Not Like Suffering And Poverty" - Fani Kayode by emmanuelex1(m): 1:34pm On Feb 26, 2019 |
And you think southeast or south south will support southwest then. What you do not understand is the south is not united. North has the power. Just wait til then, this not an issue for too much talk. SamNaijaboy: This logic is flawed. The Northerners need Nigeria more than the Southerners. Can't you see the way they are frantically searching for oil in Chad basin and other northern basins? Do you know that they have looked at bio-diesel and bio crops for oil in the North? This NNPC GMD is their points-man for all their plans. Maybe the reason they are doing all that is that they are going to try to keep power and they know the nation will split up when the SW rises against them.
By the way should the SW rise against the north, Nigeria is gone. SS has been shouting resource control for 20+ yrs and SE has been trying to get Biafra for 50+. Are you trying to tell me that should the SW start to fan the embers of secession, the SS and the SE won't take the opportunity to control their oil and get their Biafra respectively? Of course they will. SW is who's keeping Nigeria together really. That's why the North won't try it. And should they do, we split. And in 10 years let's see who will be better off without oil resources (that they are disproportionately taking by the way using the unitary state as it presently exists) to fund their 44 local governments in Kano. They won't even try it. And the next Southern president should reverse all the Northernization decisions, Shikena! |

Instead spending time looking for money, people waste their time insulting Saraki that is made already. If I was Saraki, I would just go for sweet vacation in Bahamas. Once a governor and Senate President, no be beans o. Muttee: Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has stated that in spite of the reported inadequacies that attended last Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections in Kwara State, he is wishing the candidates who emerged from the election the best of luck.
Dr. Saraki in a statement signed by his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Yusuph Olaniyonu stated that while the election was generally peaceful there were inadequacies like the card readers not used in over 70 percent of the polling units while there was also multiple-voting, over-voting and other discrepancies that were reported by agents of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) across the state. He added that the state chapter of his party will take a position on the right response to these inadequacies.
“However, whatever the final outcome of the election, I wish the candidates that have emerged all the best in their attempts to serve our people. It is my prayer that the good people of Kwara State will always have the best from any government both at the state and federal levels.
“As a product of a family and a political structure that is, from its foundation, devoted to the service and development of our state and its people, it is my wish that our people will always have a good deal at all times. The new development will even provide the people the opportunity to compare and contrast. After all, the people who have emerged from last Saturday’s election are not my enemies. They are fellow Kwarans.
“As we prepare for the March 9th, 2019 Governorship and House of Assembly elections, let me reiterate my position that the candidates of the PDP in the election represent the best materials for our dear State, Kwara. Therefore, I enjoin our people to come out en masse on Election Day and vote for them. I am going to work with our party leaders to further sell the PDP candidates to the general public.
“I thank all Nigerians for their goodwill and to enjoin all of us that as we patiently await the outcome of the Presidential election, we pray for peace, unity and genuine development in our country. It is also our prayers that at all times, the wish of the people will always prevail in the choice of the leadership and the electorate will always enjoy the benefit of good governance”, Saraki stated.

That's when they will be reminded by the entire SW region that they contribute the least to the federation... Na only dem follow come? LOL Take it to the bank, PDP and APC will both present Southerners. |
Politics › Re: "The North Never Told Us They Do Not Like Suffering And Poverty" - Fani Kayode by emmanuelex1(m): 1:24am On Feb 26, 2019 |
My two bureau de change Northerner friends told me similar stuff. They told me south will not see presidential power till 2031. Northerners are really united o FrMbaka: Some are cut out for the suffering and do not care about it. The North never told us they do not like suffering and poverty.
All they want is power. I spoke to a Hausa Fulani friend of mine last night who spoke what he described as some truths to me.
He said you Igbos have commerce and industry. Your people travel all over the world, many send money back to their parents and their communities, from their diasporan jobs.
The South West has commerce also, education, thriving airports and Seaports.
The Middle belt has agriculture and Food, and we accommodate them by giving them jobs.
So we must leave power to them in the North. That Power, is all they have to survive on. That whether you guys leave power for us or not, we have designed a foolproof means to take power and hold on to it till 2031. He said that power to the North is not a desire or want, but a genuine need for the survival of the Northerner. That in the next 48hrs, I will see what will happen, and how easily Buhari will be declared winner. I said impossible. He said just watch.
He told me that the North suffered while Obasanjo and Jonathan were in power. He said OBJ retired all their Generals. OBJ gave the ministry of Finance to a Southerner for the first time, that Jonathan did same. That if not for El Rufai and Ribadu putting their foot down in 2007, that Obasanjo was almost going to hand power over to a Southerner in the name of Peter Odili. He said that that singular move by El Rufai and Ribadu will make one of them President after Buhari in 2023.
He said the North will never go back to playing second fiddle. Their experience from 1999 to 2015 is not one they will forget in a while. That the North loves Buhari, because he gives all his appointments to Northerners. That whenever a northerner is in charge of a sector, they recruit and promote northerners, and it's effects last for more than 20yrs, and help their people survive, which is why they love and admire Buhari's approach to appointments.
He went on to say that Atiku is from an unrecognized Adamawa State and is almost a Kanuri. That him and his restructuring agenda will never be allowed to rule. That he knows it, and all the North know it, which is why the elections in the North are peaceful and there is no fighting, thuggery and killing. That the North know that Atiku's policies will advance the South and send the North into deep poverty, not on purpose, but by sharing the power, so they will not let him on board. That PDP shot themselves in the foot by choosing Atiku. A man from the Northwest, Tambuwal or Kwankwaso would have done it, and kept power in the North for them, but Atiku is far too exposed.
He even went as far as telling me that the south should forget 2023, and 2027. That the North have agreed that the south will not have power again till 2031, at the earliest and so it shall be. By which time they will have Fulani emirates in cattle colonies in Ebonyi, Oyo and Edo State, whether we like it or not.
They have told Ribadu and El Rufai to warm up, that it will be one of them in 2023, most likely the former, who is being kept away from controversy.
I asked what about Tinubu and Osinbajo. He laughed louder than ever. He described Tinubu as the biggest southern fool alive. He said they in the North were surprised that he would be fighting for Buhari's second term, after all Buhari did to him in his first four year term. He had none of his ministerial appointments approved and was shut completely out. All it took was Buhari attending his birthday party for his heart to melt. His VP was also shut out and is continously disgraced in Aso Rock. The only VP in the history of Nigeria that cannot see the president without going through an administrative staff, the chief of Staff, Abba Kyari. He said they do not trust Osinbajo, hence keeping him out of sensitive meetings, and that he will never be President, except he is ready to wait for 2031, but he is not their type.
He said the game of divide and rule will be perfected after 29th of May, as they seek to reduce Tinubu and prop up the likes of Fashola and a few others from the South West. He said by the time they finish with Tinubu, he will either go to jail or leave the party to run under another party platform, but they do not care.
I said, so you really think Atiku will lose this election. He said yes, that the North are not fighting. They have chosen, and Atiku better go get back his monies from the Generals that he bribed to make him the concensus candidate of PDP, yet failed to consult them when choosing a VP.
I thanked him and said that Atiku will be the next president of Nigeria and all their evil plans will be destroyed. Let us all pray for Atiku and Obi's victory. We have voted. All we have to do now is protect our votes and pray. If only Southerners would listen and Unite, the North would not have just evil plans against us.

Politics › Re: FPP Condemn Reckless Remarks By Political Parties And Foreign Interests by emmanuelex1(m): 10:42pm On Feb 25, 2019 |
What is FPP again? Is it a political party looooooiol bilms: FPP condemn reckless remarks by political parties and foreign interests
........ call on Nigerians to trust INEC
An independent Non Governmental Organisation, Foundation for Peace Professionals (FPP) has called on the Nigerian people to have faith in their country & give chance to Government Institutions like Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), being the Nigerian electoral body to finish up what its started. The elections cannot be concluded if announcement of Presidential election results cannot be made.
The organisation frowned at reckless statements coming from political parties, organisations and foreign individuals aimed at heating up the polity just to pitch Nigerians against each other.
In a statement issued by the Executive Director, Abdulrazaq Hamzat, FPP stated that after the successful conduct of the 2019 general election, the two leading political parties in Nigeria have been raising false alarms without basis.
According to Hamzat, "the baseless and unsubstantiated alarms being raised by the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) is capable of discrediting INEC, which has been working tirelessly to deliver a free, fair and credible election".
PDP and it's associate organisations had earlier claimed that the ruling APC is putting pressure on INEC to compromise the process, a claim made without any basis.
Similarly, the APC and it's associate organisations had also claimed that the PDP is planning to falsely declare itself winner of the election and create unrest in the country.
This claim was also found to be an alarm without basis.
FPP therefore condemn the unpatriotic conduct of both parties and urge them both to desist from further conduct capable of creating doubt in the mind of the general public about the credibility of the election.
FPP is calling on Nigerians to appreciate and congratulate themselves on their efforts in ensuring that elections were conducted peacefully.
The announcement, according to FPP is just a final stage, which the people are waiting and willing to accept the verdict of their decision.
The organisation also added that, no Nigerian is ready to throw away his or her democratic right to any form of violence, not even for the sake of any party or politician.
"What Nigerians want is a smooth announcement and transition in the interest of a better Nigeria".
Additionally, Mr Hamzat also frowned at the interference and irresponsible statements credited to certain diplomats and foreign individuals.
"Such reckless statements are not only inciting and uncalled for, they are also irresponsible because they are capable of raising none existing doubt in the mind of the people.”
FPP therefore called on all Nigerians to be vigilant and peaceful.
It urges the people to unite and move the nation forward. End

Politics › Re: 2019: South East Governors Did Not Influence Results To Favour Buhari - Umahi by emmanuelex1(m): 10:21pm On Feb 25, 2019 |
Umahi!!!!!!! Rochas !!!!!!! we understand what happened but we are waiting to hear you have presidential aspiration References: Gov. David Umahi of Ebonyi has debunked the insinuation that South East Governors influence results to help President Muhammadu Buhari achieve 25 per cent of votes in states in the zone.
Umahi made the declaration on Monday in Abakaliki while addressing newsmen, noting that the insinuation was unfounded and blamed such on fake news purveyors in the social media.
“Why do we need to negotiate for the sex of a child when the child has been given birth to? “The fact is that the president remains the boss of all governors and any reasonable governor must respect the president, party differences apart.
“You gain nothing by castigating him and such castigation does not stop him from being the president. “You should rather make him your friend and see how you can get something for your people. “The bible tells us that when the ways of a man is pleasing unto God, it keeps his enemies to be at peace with him,” he said.
The governor noted that those who lived for themselves end up heating the system as they collected their salaries at the end of the month, fed freely among others. “I am in a hurry to change the story, narratives of Ebonyi people so whatever vehicle of peace that I need to join to achieve this, I will join. “Our people are good in social media but will never go to get their voter cards and will be announcing results,” he said. He enjoined journalists to vote in the elections to enshrine good governance despite their election monitoring schedules. “I expect 90 per cent success in the elections of March 9 and I want you to ask me question on this, that day. “All the prophecies made on this election failed and you (journalists) were the ones propagating these prophecies. “People will just wake up and declare: thus says the lord and this is unfortunate,” he said.
Umahi commended INEC for ensuring a hitch free election but urged it to ensure the efficiency of the card reader which recorded several hitches on Saturday. (NAN)
