Politics › Re: How Far With Our Refineries? by emmanuelpopson(m): 3:37pm On Aug 18, 2016 |
MadCow1: There is a Fraud being perpetuated with those licenses.. Same shiit they did with GENCO's..
What they do is use those licenses to secure loans from banks, use the Loans to finance other Businesses, make a profit, repay the loans and nothing is ever built..
The Government needs to revoke the licenses of holders who have not made any in-way or progress with it..
Another thing is also that it takes a lot of ground work to build a refinery.. Example: The EIA report alone takes over a year to get. The Basic Engineering as well takes time. HAZOP and HAZID, getting the Third Pary Certification for each design, contacting the international vendors that would handle the fabrication of many parts, e.t.c.. Building a refinery is not as simple as building a 2 bedroom flat. Securing the supply agreements as well is yet another wahala on its own.
The F.G would have to mediate in many of these deals and act as a mediator to fast track many things. on point bro.. building a massive project like a refinery isn't a child's play...paperwork and other things pointed out here are so tasking that delays the eventual building.... |

yemdogg: Most colleges almost dash out admission for PGD especially Ontario colleges.
Check Conestoga college, Humber, Durham etc to see if they have the program u intend going for.
Check this link below.

And posting is quite easy unlike some states. Even to relocate Na war. Its not all about camp beauty. Not forgetting good meals @mammy too I'm not disputing with you about human relationship. I was categorical about camp infrastructure and amenities simple. that is my concern. who said people aren't nice and approachable?? is that how Lagos, Oyo , plateau camps look like?? yemdogg: 2.47 GPA is way too low for a masters degree in Canada. Most universities require a strong second class upper. Your best bet is to secure a PGD admission in any of the colleges. I am a geology graduate with a 2:2.kindly help out with universities or colleges that accept 2:2 for PGD in environmental science related courses in Canada that is affordable, also the whole TRV processes. thanks |

Amhappy: Two things our people have failed to understand, international community does not go where they have nothing to gain,fa bu ndi afia uru. And yes they love to watch lives waste in countries they care nothing about and just cover the news of the war crimes. They make more money selling their weapons than making peace. So plan and choose wisely always. God add more to your wisdom. many people here are all clamoring for war, secession etc not minding the adverse effects of it. Western nations and weapons manufacturing companies will be smiling to the bank making money. what happens to Libya, South Sudan, Somalia. I think we have to reason away from all this war mongering that have taken hold of our mindset. I prefer full implementation of the last National Conference. with that done, then Nigeria will be restructured and each regions will be autonomous. God bless my beloved Country Nigeria |

dearpreye: Yes. There's so much to learn from good books. With the advent of ebook, voracious readers now have a greater access to books. The experience is indeed awesome. I currently have this Scribd app downloaded onto my phone. With a few dollars a month as subscription, I've got an access to over 500, 000 books; I've read over 10 books for the past 3 months. Once you read a book, the app lines up similar ones. For instance, you pick up a book on finance and it brings up a multiple of books on finance. I hardly go out these days. The more I read the angrier I become at my very limited knowledge and I'm spurred to dig more.
Since reading is your hobby, you'll sure find a way to read, even if it's just a few pages every day. In this ear, the information we've got till date may be inadequate to meet our next year's information needs.
Rich Dad Poor Dad has been an amazing read. We must seek to increase our assets while reducing our liabilities. The poor work for money; the wealthy create a system that ensures their money works for them.
Knowledge. .....What you know gives you an edge. can you share websites to download such books online. Im an addict when it comes to reading or you send me ebooks on my email to start with. thanks |
