I was part of a team that introduced some foriegn investors to a governor in the south east. They wanted to start a palm plantation and refine the palm oil to meet europe standard before exporting it.

This plantation will employ 2000 people for a start and return about 1.5b per month to the state government. All they needed was land.

The governor asked us how long before ROI (return on investmvent). We told him 6 years cos palm tree takes time to grow. The governor told us he cannot be investing for his successor to come and reap.

i do hope the oil will become priceless soon and their eyes will be open to diversity the economy... we haven't talk about millet, sorghum, corn,rubber, soyabeans, groundnut, carrot and other food crops lying untapped . God will raise unto us our Moses - the deliverer from their hold..

I now understand why America shied away from assisting us after they came in to do their own study and investigation and just kept mute afterwards.

Probably they concluded our leaders are the problem and it was not worth saving a people that do not want to be saved. It will be waste of energy and resources on their part.

Nigerian populace especially the youths must open their eyes to who their enemy is. Nigeria is hitting up and boiling all because of perceived marginalizationand neglect by the enemy and we are now fighting each other and not the enemy. The enemy is not the Igbo man in Kano, or the Hausa man in Onitsha or the Yoruba man in Portharcourt. The enemy is our criminal leaders who live among us as Governors, Senators, Federal and State house of assembly, Commissioners, LG Chairmen, Ministers etc. These are enemies because they deceive us and make us fight each other but misappropriate our common wealth because they are wicked, selfish and greedy so they keep us down and unemployed without jobs, electricity, good roads, other amenities, money etc. And yetin our ignorance we keep praising them and worship them and even protect them because of the blood money they give us but kill ourselves for their sake. We need to re-direct our anger to these criminals and demand accountability and put them under fire whenever they cannot account for a kobo given to them for our upkeep and that of our children and generation yet unborn.
