TravelRe: Which Country Should I Relocate To Outside America, UK & Canada by emmanuelson20: 2:54pm On Aug 15, 2012
oolumide: I am so suddenly tired of leaving in this country with all the depressing news coming from her daily. I have always been an advocate of staying back in the country, but suddenly i lost all form of attachment and solidarity due to what you all know, security ,low quality of life and many more. I also want to give my children some form of internation exposure by leaving abroad.

However, I have strong positive biased for a country with country side life but well organised and developed. Zimbabwe was a country i once stayed for 3months in 2003 that i fell in love with, Harare, Victoria Falls, Bulawayo name it. Clean and well organised, however that cannot be said of that country anymore due to economic challenges and her running battle with European countries over land redistribution.

Please i welcome ur lovely suggestions.

Regards & Best wishes
Hi, America or Canada should be fine for you & your family. Peace.

ajaks zucy: Hello house, I need help  list of schools in †ђξ US that does not require both SAT and TOELF for UG. Anybody with any useful hint.
Hi, what are your educational qualifications? Are you applying as a Transfer Student or a Freshman? Sincerely, if you are applying as a freshman, i doubt any US institution would waive Sat & Toefl as it is required of every freshman unless you have related exam results. But as a Transfer Student, there are some US institutions that waives both Sat & Toefl depending on the number of credits achieved in your previous/current institution. Hope this helps. Peace.

Good Evening Everyone, i have a friend who got an admission to study in the US & every other documents needed for a visa interview are ready but to his surprise, he couldn't get an appointment interview date for the past few weeks. Although, i advised he should defer his studies till spring, but he said deferring will nullify the Partial Scholarship granted as rightly stated in his I-20 form & e-mailed by the director of international programs. Its obvious his chances of getting a date is very slim, but we are hoping for a miracle. Please house, your assistance is highly needed in the area of getting him a date preferrably 17 Aug-22 Aug. Please, help a brother. Thanks a lot. Peace.

DATHA: THANKS,

its current account,an old Union Bank Statement format.but when he checked he just went again and confirm the figure and type on his system. More so i tried to silent little on Private school stuff but it was mentioned.

SO WHAT DO THINK IS THE WAY FORWARD

PLEASE HOUSE YOUR RESPONSES ARE WELCOME TOO AND POSSIBLE SOLUTION IN GUD TIME
Hi guy(s), sorry for the denial, you would get it next time, be strong! As a fellow in the house rightly pointed out. The problem has to do with the financial statement you presented in terms of the "person sponsoring you & the amount". I think #10million is too low while the person sponsoring you is not related to you but your dad's friend which doesn't seem alright. Why not your dad? 2 Options i have for you, (1) If you must still use your family friend's bank statement, the cash must at least double the initial one & try to get a letter written by him confirming his friendship/relationship with your dad & you in particular & get a notary officer sign & stamp it. You can get this done @ the Ikeja high court or any reliable one close to you. (2) Try to use a Bank Statement that has your surname, either your dad or mum with at least double of the initial amount. I think this is the best option. Be calm & work things out. Hope this works. Peace.

poopppyLiillyy: I was denied a Visa today based on d fact that d act statement I used doesn't carry d same surname with mine.he is my brother, his mum married my mum after his dad died, but the VO doesn't feel convinced enough, pls what can I do?
Once again, sorry for the denial, be strong, you will be granted next time. I think u made a mistake here, "his mom married my mom after his dad died"! As for your question, there are 2 options i have for you. (1) You go to the High Court at ikeja or anyone close to you to get a notary officer sign & stamp a letter written by your Step-brother establishing his relationship with you. (2) If you can get a bank account statement with your surname preferably from your mom, it is the best of the 2 options cos this would create an impression that you have genuine intention of studying in the U.S. Hope this works. Peace.

poopppyLiillyy: embarassedWent for my interview today at Lag(with "STATE UR CASE" VO)...was denied and really feeling bad...want to reapply(F1 Visa,Masters)...av paid nw but my school will be resuming 27 of dis month....pls guys help me...how can I get a date asap,so as to meet up eventuallly....can anybody update me abt current date openings??!!
Sorry about your denial but be strong cos you will get it next time. Please, can you share your experience to us on how your interview went cos people are willing to learn from it. Thanks! As for your request, i doubt if you can get any date in August & September probably october is your best bet cos my friend is having a similar issue like yours & could only get October this week. You will need to book a date again, then you send a mail (bulky mails is advisable) for an expedited appointment & wait for a reply soon hopefully. Don't forget to send them all necessary information regarding your new interview date, school's resumption date. You can also talk to them on phone. Hope this works. Peace.

kpolli: That's dishonesty and it would backfire. . . Do not follow this advice. . Just apply the proper way, state that your transferring to a school in USA cos of bla bla bla
hi guy(s), u got me there! But on a second thought, i think that's a good idea but it may be too late for fall 2012, cos i think he applied as a Freshman Undergraduate. Guess, you would have to defer your admission till spring 2013 by applying as a transfer student as my guy sugguested, i think it is a better option. Thanks guy for the correction & better option. Hope this works! Peace.

jhidey92: hello house...one of my causin just finish his bachelor degree in edu/math at unilag..i now tell him to start processing his MS in USA. ouse is it possible wit 2rd upper.
hi guy(s), Yes, it is very possible with a 2nd class upper (2nd class lower & on few cases, 3rd class, but some institutions may require 1-2years pre-masters program before admitting into the masters program itself). Moreover, you can help him research on various institutions with his area of interests using google. Hope he gets what he is looking for! Peace.

hi guy(s), if you will be applying from Nigeria, your best option is to get another passport, why? Cos the visa consular would likely ask you questions regarding your mission in North Cyprus which could reduce your chances of getting a F-1 Visa as it creates a doubt about your "genuine" intentions about studying in the US. When asked if you travelled before (@ least to North Cyprus), your answer should be "NO" or else ... .... .... ... ...... Hope its clear! If not, let me know. Sure have a great day. Peace.
please my follow gurus in the house i need your help on this issue i have in mind and is been troubling me..I studied one semester in turkish republic of Northern cyprus and i the school system there was bullshit and no work and also was a racist country so i applied for minot state university in usa and am expecting my letter and my 1-20 form.my problem is that i have a racedent permit and is two years racedent permit in cyprus if i am going to the enbassy for my f1 visa if the counseler ask me about it what exactly am i gonna tell him....please help is needed
Hi Guy, as for your question. Please, honesty is what you need. Simply tell the visa consular the truth about your resident status if you are asked. (They could have some information about you without your knowledge, its North Cyprus not Nigeria) Are you going for fall 2012? If Yes! You need to get your I-20 & get ready for your interview as quick as possible so as to resume early for studies. North Darkota is a nice, cold & friendly place, hope you enjoy your stay there & i wish you the best in your future endeavours. (DON'T CROSS OVER TO CANADA, LOL!!!) Peace.

Hi Guy(s), As for your request, you should try google the "university of nebreska" in nebreska, "vapolraiso university" in indiana. Am sure these schools don't request for WES Evaluation. Alternatively, research using google to get your exact choice of institution. Hope you get what you want soon. Congrats to all F-1 Visa holders & the intending & future holders. Wish you all the best in the States!!! Peace
