What about people that bought FBN at N15? angry

People should learn how to apply STOP-LOSS in stock.

If you bought FBN @ N15 your STOP-LOSS should around N11

I bought higher and sold when it was falling.

Just to re-enter @ 6.3.

I knew this will surely happen.
Microsoft kill NOKIA MOBILE, and renamed it LUMIA.
Now Microsoft is removing everything about NOKIA from LUMIA.

This is a Big lesson to Nokia.
If they had started with Android when Symbian was dying, Samsung and HTC wont come near Nokia market share.

@ bold: Exactly! Apart from the fact that Al-Hassan Dantata traded in numerous commodities and other goods (he was a shareholder in the first textile mill in Northern Nigeria. He dominated the kolanut market, sold European clothes, grains and potash, his wife dealt in women's goods) he was also the inventor of the groundnut pyramid.

He monopolised the market and had such economy of scale that other groundnut producers brought their goods to his warehouses in Kano and sold them to him. He had agents everywhere and he was a Director of the railways. He would then move the groundnuts to the south for export. The trains that took his groundnuts to the south also brought his Kolanuts from the south for sale in the north. The sacks of groundnuts were so many that they were built up into large pyramids. Entire railway trains would be loaded exclusively with his goods.

One of Alhassan Dantata major advantage was his direct trade link with the Europeans, he helped them to buy cash-crops all over West-Africa.
And ability to speak English help him a lot.

Its not called monopoly there were other groundnut producers all over Africa... The dan-peeps you defend with your soul are slaves to the colonial masters..

Its not a co-incidence they made his great grandson the richest black man..

How many cocoa producers do you know of

Read and comprehend

Nigeria was the largest producer in Africa.

Major producers

China took advantage of market reforms, as well as increased use of high-yielding seed varieties and agricultural inputs (fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, mechanization and irrigation), to recently overtake India as the world's largest groundnuts producer. In China, over 3.6 million hectares are under groundnut cultivation and 6 million tons are produced yearly. India is the second largest producer, with surfaces under the crop exceeding 8 million hectares and outputs averaging 5.6 million tons per year. The United States, Nigeria, Argentina and Indonesia are the following largest producers, with annual outputs varying between 1 and 1.5 million tons per year.

- See more at: http://www.tradeforum.org/exporting-groundnuts/#sthash.qmJSkb1z.dpuf

I can give names of Cocos producers from Ogun,Oyo,Osun and Ondo, non of them are billionaires.

Unlike cocoa where you have lots of producers and exporters, Alhassan Dantata Monopolize the groundnut business.

Groundnut pyramids were the invention of Alhassan Dantata.

www.tradeforum.org/exporting-groundnuts/

Nigeria survived on cocoa... Output from groundnut is small compared to cocoa...

Since you seem educated, pls use your brain and tell me how groundnut can exceed cocoa, coal, palm, rubber and wood even in the past

This dan-guys are loyal to the colonial masters and they get repaid for their slave mentality...

Even his great grandson(dangote) is the richest blackman... Do you think dangote worked for it

Pls use your brain and don't be deceived by documents because common sense should tell you that groundnut can't be compared with agric products gotten from the SS, SE,SW, central nigeria..

Even coal was hot-cake then compared to groundnuts..

It's called monopoly
Ok let me brake it down to you.

Cocoa produced in the South earn more Forex then Groundnut. But Cocoa producer's are more than groundnuts producer's.
And most Cocoa production and exports are channeled through the government.

That's why you won't see Billionaires from Cocoa.

Dantata was a monopolist for groundnut and he got the government support to fix price and export.

Even if he is exporting 1 Ton of nuts he will still be richer than most Cocoa producers exporting 100tons.

Remember Dangote once enjoyed that Monopoly.

you should also read my comments on this thread before quoting me....

but just to answer you... That book has a foreigner as the author... It just proves my comments on this thread that those dan-peeps are loyal to colonial masters... you should also ask yourself this questions --

1) HOW CAN SOMEONE GET RICH FROM GROUNDNUTS
2) DOES COCOA HAVE MORE VALUE THAN GROUNDNUTS
3) WHY IS HIS GREAT GRANDSON THE RICHEST BLACKMAN

LOL,

If you know the Global consumption of Groundnuts(PEANUT) you wont be asking those questions.

Nigeria once survived without oil and gas, but GROUNDNUTS and COCOA.

So, burial rites were reportedly performed. Although her body was not found, but as far as the community was concerned, Mercy was dead and buried and her name on the community’s register marked with red ink.

So she wasn't buried

Obviously the governor must have given his approval to the operation.

One point that is amazing me that people are not talking about is the fact that Akpabio is still using the government house after 3 months and the new governor is operating from elsewhere.

Maybe the new governor doesn't know how to politely tell Akpabio to vacate the govt house grounds hence, the covet support for this operation. With the mindset that Akpabio will have no choice than to move after the public searchlight is on them.

Akpabio residing even if it is in the presidential lodge within the govt house is not proper. He won't allow the governor to have a full control, moreso since he was the former Boss of the governor.

If it was Tinubu still living illegally in the presidential lodge of the government house after handling over to Fashola then, people no go allo us hear word, newspaper headlines would have been screaming it daily.

The present Akwa Ibom governor must be bold and take charge. Two captains cannot be in charge of the state government house.

And some people will deliberately ignore this.

And whats the business of Fayose with Akwa Ibom.

Don't compare MTN to Starcomms.

STARCOMM death was predicted due to unattractive CDMA business in Nigeria,e.g MULTILINKS,ZOOM MTS, etc same happening to VISAFONE.

But GSM business is not dying anytime soon, with their huge subscriber base.
If you see any GSM stock selling below #10 better grab it .

I tire o. Funny thing is Tecno never promised OTA update. Infinix did and delivered. He's just crying over spilt milk for which he is solely responsible. I'm sure he regrets selling the Phantom Z, shelling off 30k because of lack of lollipop update which Tecno never promised more than he enjoys Lollipop update on this infinix hot note pro, hence the campaign after election.

TECHNO and other OEM don't need to promise regular OTA updates, because those updates are compulsory to fix bugs and add new features.

Any OEM that doesn't update their devices to fix bugs, lacks better after sales support. And that's the major problem with TECHNO, just visit their services center to see angry crowd.
