I am not understanding this PHED.
Sometimes I wonder why others are not talking.
I previously wrote on the fraudulent practice here

Now I loaded 5k today only to get 15kw as against 37kw the previous week.

What is going on.
This cannot continue.

Mechanics!!! Fear them. Only one I have found trust worthy and know his work well is Mr Yemi in Abuja.
Im in Abuja I bought an accidented car from US . Got a mechanic in Lagos who gave me a quote to put the car in order and the duration. Gave him advance and he kept asking for money and till he collected the balance telling me next week for almost one month. Last last i went to Lagos and made a visit to the mechanic. HAAAAA!! The car was in a worse state than i received it from the USA. iTs like he damaged it more. He said he did everything he said. Gave me a long list. I quickly arranged and towed it to another mechanic. That was like frying pan to fire. This mechanic was collecting like N150k from me every month for like 3 months and doing little or nothing. Na so i quickly call a driver I know and he went there to collect the car and i have since abandoned it. After years I went back to the car got another mechanic. Na so the mechanic told me gear box no good I should bring N250k gear box for Honda 2010. And a daily fee for the car at his workshop. I weak. Last last i go myself buy the gear box less than half that cost. Mechanics!! Another in Abuja collected my N80k and has been running and another my N100k and has been running. Nigeria!!!

Since she didn't beg. I would assume she is over you and also disappointed that you blocked her.
She just wanted closure and if you choose not to unblock her then that would likely be the end of the relationship.

I just came back from bank, I requested for my statement of account, it's clearly in the statement that the transaction took place, am at the pos now with the statement, she has to call her bank or her account holder to clarify this issue. N. B THE POS is for an electronic store that deals on phones and electrical appliances. I was told to give them few days to rectify the issue.

I have been to my bank they said I should give them 15days which I did, going back there after 15days, they said the money was issued that it's with the POS operator, I got to POS, POS said its lies that no money of such was with her.

If you have your account officer you can call him or her one on one

If you have a receipt attach it to your mail and send to customer care/ complaints email of your bank

The most important thing is hope you collected the receipt of the Failed transaction

UPDATE : After several mails and calls. It has finally been sorted out

Call their customers care line and if you are not satisfy with their response, go to the bank if indeed it was a failed transaction. It should have abe been resolved since its more than seven working days.

I have called customer care. They are claiming it was successful.
The policy at all outlets is once there is a Dispense error take it up with the bank for reversal.

With the receipt I think GTB is supposed to attend to me

I have had a dispense error transaction at a POS since the 2nd of April. I have written several emails to GTB but they told me it was successful and I should meet the merchant.

Is it proper for GTB to push me to the Merchant when there is a case of FAILED transaction.
Is it not their responsibility to ensure my funds are reversed.

Please bankers and financial experts I need your input and advise.

N4100 may seem like a small amount but it is still a lot

Nestlé deserves to be on the list but apart from PATERNITY leave you mentioned. Other points are standard in all standard organisations in Nigeria which are subject to labour law.
That was just my point.

20 working days PATERNITY leave

Every staff MUST observe a day off work after 6 days

E get plenty why!

FULLY paid annual leave and
4 months maternity leave are part of the labour law and nothing special even Banks must observe this.

Paternity Leave is a plus though.

Taking a day off after 6 days is NOT special.

So of all the points raised only Paternity leave is special

I finally made out time and went to their major office at Ordinance.

Long and short I was informed that an audit was carried out in January and some old debt as far báck as 2012 was discovered and allocated to ALL prepaid meters.

Before moving into the flat I did my checks and confirmed there was no debt on the prepaid meter and I have been using it for years.

Is it justifiable to resurrect a 10 year old debt which was not in the system even as of 2 years ago and heap it on all prepaid customers in Port Harcourt.

For me I see this as fraudulent and intend to get justice in this regards.

Note the debt allocated to my meter is over 65k.

In recent time some of us discovered that anytime we recharge our meter PHED removes half of the amount recharged as a debt no one knows about,
The last time I recharged N5000, 2500 was used to settle a debt I do not know about. Its not just me oh. Even when I recharged for the church the same thing and a neighbour confirmed the same thing. He even thought it was an increase in tariff but I know they are not allowed to arbitrarily increase tariff and later I got an email after recharging stating it was for an unspecified debt.

I tried their official customer care number as shown in the pic but it is not going. I checked their website but no press release same for their fb page. I even sent them a dm but no response after days now.

This is criminal and very wrong the implication is that my NEPA /PHED bill has doubled meanwhile income has not doubled. We are already managing electricity usage so as to afford the bills but with this latest development it is the height of frustration.

Please nairalanders can anyone explain the justification for this. This is a meter we have been using for years and only just started experiencing this this year
