I think that's a moderate pricing... Wish you quick sales. Ok, I see the other one then.
Thank you.

Bought 2. No offers yet but 1 is just gathering fire on sh as it was accepted ujwd. The other no offer and was rejected on all 3 marketplace except of course bp which I'm still skeptical of listing it.
Wow ok. Thanks for the info. Your sale is coming soon!
Why are they rejecting that one though? Did you check if it had some bad history or something?
What's your price on SH if you don't mind? Thank you.

No offers yet. It is however listed on SH for 9k.
Ok. May your sale come sooner than you expect.
But again, just like any other commodity and type of domain, the price is a motivating factor.
I'm just doing a little research on LLLL domains and their sales.
Thanks again.

The other one, I will try and hold for at least 5 years...
Ok the verge of renewing it for 5 years.

Shalom
Ok, thanks for the info. Looks like you may have to hold a while before the right buyer comes I guess. Thanks again.

Ideaspro the funds have been transferred to ur card.. UBA does not send credit alert when u withdraw from PayPal. The withdrawal is instant and the funds get to ur africard in a matter of seconds
I don't think that's the case for first time withdrawals though.

@Channel5 & Other Current Users

I decided to open PayPal Lesotho account for a separate business project. I received my first fund into the account and initiated transfer to my UBA Visa Card International Instant High Naira. However, PayPal says it takes 72 hours for fund to clear. Is it normal or okay? The card has been verified previously!
No worries that's how they work. It will take exactly 72hrs, no more, no less, or at least so was mine. And also, yes, $5 charge, but I don't know if it's only for the first withdrawal.

Your naira is on the way. smiley

You took the best decision. In fact, withdrawing with Payoneer is far better. Just send the fund directly from your Payoneer account to your local bank account. Or alternatively, to your DOM account if you have one.
Yes thanks. Don't have a dom account yet, but I'll try to get one.

Generally, fiverr funds take 2 weeks or 14 days to clear for sellers with no badge to level 2. On the other hand, top rated sellers can withdraw in just 7 days.

However, if you are talking about the fund being withdrawn into a PayPal account, you can get your naira conversation once your exchanger confirm the Fiverr fund inside his Paypal account.

Please, beware of the exchanger you transact with. There are too many scammers out there.

Good morning.
Thanks bro. It's about withdrawing.
I am weary of the scam exchangers o. I just decided to use my Payoneer jeje instead. The risk is not worth it for now.
Thanks again!

Pls, what do I have to do to this question mark on the pending review domain? The Domain is actually 2 syllables.
Try clicking it, you'd find out its only a short explanation on a matter. This is like a standard symbol for 'help'.
In this case, it explains that your name is 2-syllables, that's all.

No idea Sirs?
Sorry bro, i don't think UBA MasterCards are enabled for international online transactions.
You should try getting GTBank MasterCard or other banks that work internationally. Otherwise, try getting a UBA AFRICARD [Prepaid Visa Card]. It works internationally, it's what I use. Hope this was helpful.

If you haven't then that could be the last hurdle to skip.

Hello fellow domainers, I want to get the uba card for PayPal payment withdraw. What will I tell them abeg?
Ok the card can only pay.
Tell them INTERNATIONAL HIGH like somebody already said, but I think it depends on the credentials you go with. If it can't get u an INTERNATIONAL HIGH, just get an INTERNATIONAL LOW, it also works with PayPal, it's what I use.
Tell them AFRICARD or UBA PREPAID CARD
P.S: Don't mistakenly go for LOCAL HIGH OR LOCAL LOW... Just make sure to stress this point to them. That's how they suffered me that time.
Good luck!

Would've loved to quote this whole post if not for space. This should be post of the year and be on NL's front page. Nigerians are us, we are Nigerians. I keep saying it that most of the people shouting bad governance today only need to be given secretary to the assistant secretary of one LGA chairman and you'll see their true colours. Small government contract but we'll pad the living hell out of the budget and still under-deliver.

Ikhalyfah rightly mentioned that N-POWER stuff. Many people jumped on that thing not because of work but to get free income. It's the crazy country we find ourselves. The average Nigerian is corrupt, always seeking to cut corners to the detriment of others. It's a sad thing to say but we have to be honest.

It won't be easy changing the whole country, but on a personal level we can try our best at being the change we want to see

Truly said.

ikhalyfah:

Well said man. Sorry guys for derailing.

We are all not okay in this country. Forget the politicians, we all have our own commission. In fact some Nigerians do worse than a politician will do.

We all keep shouting the politicians are old and out of ideas, lol, give a youth a local government chairman and see the stupidity he will do, talkless of governor, minister or president. In fact, give the average Nigerian youth some millions and u will see how he will think he has arrived, lol.

A typical example is this N-power stuff, u will see someone earning 80-100k per month applying for Npower! A saw a school headmaster applying for Npower, we all think it's okay, but believe u me, that's how corruption starts. Imagine if that person is now given public fund to manage, do u think he won't misappropriate?

Lol, untop naija issue person fit right a billion pages, so make i stop here.

You, I, we, them, all of us are guilty!
Well said, this our 'smartness' nonsense is the most annoying thing in Nigeria. We need to get it right. Most of those moves are corruption, but we're ok with them. It's a shame you see elders, people's respected parents in the society indulging in these acts, and we always say 'everybody is doing it'. Dear Lord, I don't know if Nigerians think there will be a different heaven for them.
Wake up! We're already centuries behind!

This is always the complain and nothing is getting better. The people in government are Nigerians like you and I. When they leave, young people will fill up the position and most likely, prove to be worse. Yahaya Bello is a good example.

The govt may be a huge part of the problem but what about everyone else?

We all are doing at least one thing wrong that's not helping our country. I don't expect anyone to agree with me though. We always like to think of ourselves as the smart guys that does things solely for our own benefit not minding the effect on others.

Politicians will loot funds meant for the public good, Contractors will inflate cost of executing a project, employers will treat employees like slaves, paying them money barely enough for their needs. Employees will steal from workplace or even plan a heist as seen recently with some bank robberies.

Lecturers will demand money or sex for grades, students will pay or cheat just to get the certificate. People will abuse position of trust. Even clerics are not left out. We've heard cases of pastors or church executives stealing from the church.

Talk about the youths? We are at the forefront. Can't do any honest dealing online. Even the physical dealings sef, you have to pick a location where you won't be robbed or killed. I can order for one million goods on AliExpress and sleep in peace but can't send 20,000 naira to a business person I've not met before on Nairaland because I fit don enter one chance. Honest Nigerians are even scared to disclose their identity when doing business online. Thanks to the activities of Hushpuppi, Invictus Obi, and many others not so popular.

Talk about systemic corruption, civil servants are are not left out. Defrauding the govt is common among them. One person taking salary of ten people under ghost employment. Won't sign documents if you don't give tips, security protocols won't let you see oga if you don't give tips. Private organizations are not left out too.

I was on the job vacancies thread during the NDLEA online recruitment. The reason why many people are interested in the job is because they believe one can make fast money from collecting scheduled bribes from the people they're meant to bring to justice. When they don't get the job (which many probably won't), they blame the politicians for job racketeering.

Report that a cleaner returned lost money to the owner and you'll hear things like na suffer go kee dis one, God don pick im call but the idiot hang up. These are the same set of people blaming the woes of the country on the politicians. What they lack is the opportunity to do worse than the politicians are currently doing.

The police officer you despise was once like you before taking up the job. The intimidating SARS officers didn't drop from the sky. If you have a soldier friend and you have a disagreement with someone, dat pesin don hear am cos you go use your soldier friend intimidate am.

Crazy country with self-righteous citizens!

Politicians won't obey traffic rules. Their security escort must clear the path so they can hurry along. Where are they in a hurry to? Even rich folks will request for private security from the police to guide their houses simply because they have the money. And when we leave the shores of this country, we behave ourselves out there. Something we've refused to do here.

Whenever you feel like laying blame on the politicians, think about what you're doing that's not helping Nigeria. Maybe if we all start doing this, our country will become better.
Felt like tearing after reading these simple truths that my people won't succumb to. The very things that bug my mind every passing day. How can you be insulted for trying to do right? Being called 'mumu' for saying our country can be better? Well, the few of us who are interested, i believe we can make it work. I always say am a student of the school of thought that instead of running to green pastures, make your own. Instead of running abroad, i believe we can fix this country.
But bro you sound like a rapper, you into music? Lol
Cheers

it's not a must that you use Epik to close such deal. Opt to do the deal directly. Ask him to register on porkbun so that you can initiate a push to him and he pays you via PayPal.
Ok, but even at that, he'd still hv to renew every year, which I think is his issue. Or is he starting the renewal this year after buying with epik? I really don't know what happens at the buyer's end, just seller-side.

You may need to educate him about domains especially renewal. He probably is a novice and does not realize that ownership is only for a year and then it is renewed. You can tell him that if he buys, you will extend it by an extra year. That will just be a bonus.

You're right. Education is what am still trying to gv him.

I too may not be too keen on buying if I have to renew a domain name I just bought but only if its a wow name that I must have.

You may have to take the risk of renewing the name. Pray he still picks it.

Did you mention it to him he'll have to renew or he brought it up? Never inform the client about renewal. You can renew on his behalf after he's paid and inform him that you did so. He'll be very grateful

You can also offer web-hosting. Go to dreamhost and bluehost. Register as an affiliate. Bluehost pays $65 per sign up and Dreamhost up to $250
No, i didn't mention. He saw it as part of the terms on Epik, so he expressed his concerns.
But renewal is barely $10, this wouldn't bother even a below average American i suppose.
I just registered the name few weeks back, i don't think he should be worried about renewal now right?
Thanks for the dreamhost affiliate idea, i think I might consider it in the future.
Thank you.
