Even Kemi Adeosun said that not every agency will receive the budget funds appropriate to it. Chain.....generally it is a quagmire.....Can GIS really survive?....Hopefully, old outstanding will be settled before freshers intake....Avengers has even given the FG more excuse to rely upon for shortfunding

yeson:

fear not, your allowance is not dependent on any oufit/consulting firm, they pay state by state. (simply put, is dependent on available funds) find out if others in the same venue has received, if they haven't then relax it would be paid. i have not been paid either(Abia)

I think Yeson is right from my observation and investigations base on the exit training payment. Abia has not been paid till date. Just keep writing and reminding them through your employer from 1-7 of every month.

Another budget passage delay. We will be patient enough. GIS is a shaking scheme in the hands of FG. I believe at the end of all these delays, GIS might stand. Be a patient bird...its a virtue.....Buhari Admin seems full of unbalance. Let's hope it doesn't blame GEJ on GIS..

My brothers/Sisters, GIS like any other are experiencing fixing back issues to the Govt of the day. Buhari administration is in sham. Let's just hope that GIS will overcome at the end of the day. Budget passage may make things turn around better.

Stipends and other payment are all dependent on Budget 2016....Senate ensure it will be passed before the end of this week which is Thursday.....which is why 31march was mentioned.

Dear Partners (Firms)
Re; Request For More Interns
We have received several enquiries and requests through mails and calls from some partner firms requesting for a deployment of more interns and or replacement for interns that have completed their internship or left the organisation. We appreciate these request as they show continued confidence in the scheme. We will however like to state that for firms request for more interns, they must demonstrate the following;
• They must show evidence that the interns benefited from the scheme through a mentoring plan and report on the interns
• They must show evidence that some of the interns were employed after their internship.
.For the firms that have met this criteria and have requested for interns, please be assured that your requests are being given due consideration. We will however not be able to approve the deployment of additional interns to your organisation until the passage of the 2016 budget .
Kindly receive the best assurances of the Project Director, Graduate Internship Scheme.
Yours Sincerely,

Akubo Adegbe

Dear Firms/Organizations,
Re; Outcome Of Verification Exercise
We have received several enquiries and requests through mails and calls from some partner firms that have been approved after the verification exercise but have been unable to take interns on the platform.

Good morning dear interns and partner employers. We were shocked to see the Punch publication as you did that GIS is under some kind of investigation. Apparently, the paper does not differentiate between the different components of the defunct SURE-P. Please disregard the fictitious story as GIS is still alive to its responsibilities and is not under any kind of investigation. Our lawyers are already considering our options in this matter.

Any complaints regarding payment should only be inquired through an employer to finance@gisurep.gov.ng and info@gisurep.gov.ng between every 1st to 7th of every month and to be repeated till your ish is resolved. (Be it training alawi or stipend payment or outstanding).....

Thank you for raising this issues cos GIS payment is becoming discouraging. but the FMF inspection rep told us that the lack of budget approval is also causing the delay, that's why new interns are not being taken into the programme.

the one they pay now is from past admin budget, I pray there'll approve the budget soon otherwise payment will be hard and new interns won't be invited due to finance. But as for GIS,, it will be continue cos its under 500b social welfare.

I hope this administration will wake up from their slumber soon.
God bless Nigeria....

Hopefully they will continue. Budget will be passed by 17th....unless the padding and fraud in the budget will hinder it.

OK thanks. I can't wait to exit the scheme. their method of payment is not encouraging.

The ish is that they(GIS) are not certain if they will really comtinue or not. The funding of the current scheme is left over from GEJ purse that run till December 2015. I also think they are maintaining their salary with remnant of it. Hopefully, GIS will know its stand after the passage of 2016 budget. I am very sure and clear that there is no budgetary provision to accommodate any new intern. Just sit down dey watch buhari and admin.

One thing I love about this Biafan iss, is the kind of unity it is creating amongst the IGbos. Thankfully we are beginning to close in ranks and act as a one indivisible people. This is the single most important reason why I will remain grateful to IPOB. They have done a great Job.

Back to the topic, I see IPOB winning this race. What they have achieved in the past 9months non-violently, even the entire Nigeria has not been able to achieve it in their lifetime.

Number one talk of the century that got my attention. Kudos.....I see greater achievement even in the judiciary end as they are showing to the world from which Nnamdi KANU set for them to see the real Nigeria in justice and Executive. Its just Gods doing......Don't forget in the end as the Director always say...We will win.....I would also love the part of hitting the zoo devastedly hard that can't recover from it. But would to God that the zoo will peacefully accept it peacefully that what will befall them if it get worse. I pray God change their heart because i wouldnt want to see the hausas and yorubas that will join suffer get devastedly hit beyond repair.....may we seperate peacefully this time.
