How do Nigerians try to form Chinese, Mexicans, Spaniards and Indians accents (the way they speak English)? This is a Joke! ![]() ![]() Like Dr. Dams said, these Nigerians only try to speak like Britons when they are in a conversation with Foreigners (from other continents aside Africa). |

nouveaux: @mascof, the languages arent that distinct, I have heard both spoken. So over to u baba yagbaYes, that's true. Just little differences between the two languages. I guess you heard the 'modern' one we city people speak, not the original one spoken in the towns. Like Knife. It's Obe in Yoruba. We city people call it Obe too, buh my hometown folks call it ISIN. ![]() Cow. Maalu in Yoruba and my version of Yagba too. But in my town, they call it EELA. ![]() Also, there is a word, in which most yoruba speakers cant call, only Yagba people can. The English word for it is COME. Most yorubas call it WA. In yagba, it's pronounced like GHA. Inshort, I dont know how to type it, because it's not GA or JA. ![]() Yagba rhythm is sweet sort of. ![]() |
Xtfield: I have always admired the Igbo people. Unlike my Yoruba people, Igbos are very good at passing on their language and traditions to their children wherever they live. Hardly can you see an Igbo child who will not understand and speak the language at age 6. Not like the Yorubas who view speaking Yoruba as a sign of backwardness. We sure have a lot to learn from the Igbos on this and other issues.Okay. We have seen you. Because you cant speak yoruba doesnt mean I cant speak it. H In a nutshell, you are saying, Hardly can I see a Yoruba child who will speak the language at age 6? |
Alright. Spill it. |
Deiok: ^^You can say that again. |

They banned India from football because of JADDO. ![]() My pops told me that those at the stadium would see Indians jumping Pole vault, and later when the recorded clip is viewed by FIFA I guess, they(FIFA) would see they(Indians) aint even jumping it, but walking majestically or running below the pole to the other side. ![]()

Decryptor: LG better not introduce this kind of tech on microwave ovens cos if they do, we will witness moments where someone sends and sms via MTN to the microwave machine to switch off itself after a pre-determined time. Don't ask me what will happenUser busy. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
