Zenith Bank does. Zenith Bank and UBA give the same rate most times. #359 to $1.

I regret using Access Bank in October. I was told rate was #357. My funds landed and I got a very low rate. #336 to a dollar.

I've since switched to UBA. I've been having 359 consistently since then. Zenith Bank gives same.

Etihad is the airline. It lands in Abu Dhabi then Etihad bus transfers you to Dubai. About an hour trip.

I'm back to Nigeria. I only went to the UAE for vacation. But a friend told me it's easy to get a job once you have enough money.

But from my observations and what these friends that live there do say:


Cost of living is high in most places in Dubai. Depends on the area but you'll get a decent room for 350k per month and above. There are not-so-neat places too, could go for 150k per month.

Many Nigerians there are doing menial jobs, nothing serious - from security guards at the hospital to working in factories and malls there, selling things in the market etc. And some of them complain of not getting paid that much or late payment.

I also know some that buy and export things to Nigeria.


These are my observations. You do your own research too.

Whatever you decide, I wish you the best.

@OP, if I were you, I'll take up the lecturing job like some persons already suggested. Then save up and try your hands on something, see if it works out. If it does and you feel you are ready, you can then leave the lecturing job.

Summer is not a good period to visit.

It's a nice airport I used it in August during my vacation to Accra. But the officer was still asking me "anything for boys". Just like the ones in Nigeria.

I'm always scared anytime I'm flying with Aerocontractors. The planes look so old.

It's last option booking BTW, if Airpeace is no more available.

Would love to do same but it's expensive over here. Over #200,000.
