Check your Blockchain wallet... You might have this STX and don't know it

Hi there, I know the thread is old but I have a question. I sent STX to a Btc wallet. I felt I was given an STX wallet, do you think the Stx will revert back to my stx wallet? The recipient whom I sent to didn't receive it either.

Hi everyone, I'd like to know if proof of funds is required for my second Shengen visa application?

I had Shengen visa (France) last year November, I printed £1,000 bank statement of 3 months, which was for my expenses for the trip. I'd like to apply again and would love to know if I have to keep another money for 3 months, or I just need to submit applications without sending bank statement?

It can be changed to a later date but I think it will be pure luck to find an earlier date.

Thanks. I didn't find the need to change it any longer. I went for capturing same February 17th. My passport got back to me last week - April 19th. That's same day they have on the slip I got.

Hi comonsavar, thanks for this thread. I'd like to know if appointment date can be changed after making payment? I got February 17th, being the closest date but I'm wondering if I can get an even closer date by constantly checking. cheesy

Hi, fellow Travel section lovers of Nairaland. cheesy I've been an ardent follower of this section since I've been on this platform. I've also enjoyed the loads of travel threads created here over the years. I feel I should create this thread and hopefully, you enjoy my experience, which I'm bringing to you in text and pictures.

I live in the coastal city of Bournemouth, an hour drive from London. So, about 4 weeks ago, I travelled from London to Paris on a tourist (shengen) visa. It was about 40 minutes flight time from Gatwick Airport, London to Orly Airport, France.

I think depending on when you re-enrolled and when your name is actually published by the electoral officer... there might be delays with the credit bureau recording it. But why did you update it that soon?

Lol. I wanted to do the right thing. cheesy

Meanwhile, our old apartment is only 3 minutes walk away from our new one. I was initially going to the old apartment, to check if there are any mails for us, but it's stressful checking every other time. So, I just kuku updated all my addresses to the new apartment.

And, oh, the points that dropped on Experian was due to the change of address I did on their platform. It took another credit report to show I was no longer on the electoral roll, which equally dropped more points on Experian and Transunion - these are the ones I check.

One month... Pls what's the implications if I change my contact address on my AMEX CC, Bank account, Electoral Roll and Provisional Driver's license after a month of being enrolled?

I'd to do this, after 7 months of being on the electoral register as we changed apartments. A day or two later, Experian took out about 30 points from my credit score.

I've re-enrolled at our new apartment, but it doesn't get updated on credit history that soon.

So, my credit reports across platforms now show I'm not registered on the electoral register.

Three supports WiFi calling,

Enable it

Thank you. Been using that, just felt there is another way around it, because now, I still get 30gb data on the Three sim, which I'll likely not use a quarter of it. smiley

Unfortunately, you are stuck with this contract....... If you cancel, you are liable to pay a cancellation fee(or face a blacklist).........

If you have WiFi and your provider + device supports WiFi calling, that might be your only route ...........

https://www.finance.co.uk/guides/can-cancel-mobile-phone-contract-cannot-get-signal/

One chance. That's a lot of money to throw away.

Remember when I made a post about 4 months back that Three placed a CIFAS on my credit scores? I was told to give it three months, then come back if I want any kind of contract.

I was there recently to get a broadband contract, I was still told I didn't pass credit check, I was hinted it's still due to the CIFAS on my account. I left their office and went to EE. Picked a broadband contract without any issue.

Good evening everyone.

I'm on a 24-month contract with Three Mobile. This is my 10th month with them, we changed location recently and their network has been awful, no reception to call or to browse anywhere inside the house except you hang by the window. grin

I notified them that I'm not doing again, but I was told I'd have to pay about £300 to leave their network.

Is it possible to end my sim only contract without paying the early cancellation charges? Because I'd like to call again and give this reason (no network reception).

Thanks.

Thank u.

pls I have register to vote and it was successful. my council brought the form I filled it and later they send a letter that it was successful and by September it will be register. but I checked my credit karma it has not yet been updated on it. it keep telling me to register. pls how can I update it on my record that I have register

2. I only use one credit card which is enough for me. is it advisable to use many credit cards or just stick to one??

Thank you

If by the end of September, you still haven't seen it on your credit score, you can mail them.

2. I'm currently using only one myself. cheesy As long as you are able to manage them, having more that one seems nice.

I might get another one soon. I use Amex, it doesn't work in a lot of places, so you still have to hold your debit card.

Is using Creditladder free?

It is. But you are limited to the credit agencies they report your house rent payment to; they report to only 1 of the 3. You make the selection by yourself.

If you want them to report to all 3, you pay £8 monthly or an annual £60.

Choi, how many months did it take?
Mine took a dive but I noticed Amex increased just increased my available credit

My 2nd month using it, used just 14% of available credit in my first month and paid on time

Got into the country, January of this year. I've been doing things around it since then. But I got Amex credit card in May.

Nice. I had my credit limit increased on Amex too, three months after I joined.

These scores are shady. Use checkmyfile and credit karma to compare.

Credit Karma only shows Transunion credit score. Or is there a way to check Experian credit score on Credit Karma?

Thank u for this beautiful write up
my questions
1. which credit company do u advice we use. I am using Credit karma which is free. but many lenders are using the experian to check your credit . I opened experian and it was told that 30days is free and every month we pay £14. so what do u advice in on the best credit company to use.
2. I was also told that opening too many bank accounts is not good for credit score. How true is this.
3. I also learnt that is not good to be checking your credit all the time, is this true or false
4. How can I add my house rent to my credit. I always tranfer the money to my landlord account but I write on the ref as rent payment.

Thank you

1. You can use Experian still. You don't have to pay the monthly subscription fee. The subscription only shows you tips you won't see on the free version.

2. I'm not totally sure on this.

3. False. I check my scores as often as I want without any impact.

4. Credditladder. Sign up. Then connect your bank account. Select the particular payment reference you use when sending money to your landlord. Since it's a monthly trend, Credditladder will be notified the moment you pay for every other month. Just make sure you stick to sending your house rent on same day, each month.

CIFAS follows you everywhere like MTN .......... wink

The CIFAS record should not have a negative effect on your application, but would just require extra checks by provider.........

Noted. Thanks for your response sir. cheesy

Hi everyone, I need advice on an issue I have.

A few months back, I was a victim of phone contract fraud. Now, my credit profiles have "Cifas (Victim)" on them till 2023.

I've replaced my debit card and will soon be changing home address. Once I have a new home address and update it on the electoral register, will I be to get this Cifas warning out of my credit profiles if I reach out to the network provider? Or there is really nothing I can do till 2023?

I believe the warning on my credit profiles will limit me in some ways; I wasn't able to get a phone contract after the issue. The network provider didn't state the reason, but I feel it's due to the cifas warning I have.

Backstory: No phone was delivered to my home address. Just 4 or 5 simcards and a Mifi.
