And does a rent payment delay of 3 - 4 days impact negatively From the day you sign up onwards. |

hustla: Yes they all do
Yeah, Klana has just started too
PayPal actually warned me that they report to credit agencies.
Monese's programme is to do help with credit so they report to the agencies. I just would like tok know which is faster and maybe better in the long run so i wont just be doing the same thing in different places
Makes sense. I've been reporting my house rent payment to Credditladder since February, they are suppose to report to Transunion, but my Transunion credit score hasn't moved since February! |

hustla: Hello My Ogas
I have a question
To build up credit without going the CC way, which one is the most advisable or the best option to speed it up
- Buying and paying items using PayPal credit (3 times payments) - Changing from maybe Lebara to O2 contract plan - Using the Monese credit builder option for 1 year (costs around 7GBP per month)
Kindly advise
Thanks! If they all report to credit agencies, I think you can combine all. Lol. Klana also started reporting to credit agencies at the start of this month. |

VIKTO83: This match will be d worst thing to happen to super eagles because it's not a true test of their strength. It will end up deceiving them and in d future it will be written that d new coach after winning his second match with a large margin lost control of d team due to his poor tactical approach to games.
Eagles winning Sao Tome is not something to celebrate. Why are you so full of negativity? Damn. |

Goke7: Try Tesco Bank credit card, if you get 90% approval go ahead and apply but anything less than 90% don't even try. One major issue is you having a full time job, if you don't have, hardly can you get a credit card Thanks. I'll try. |

ritzzybaron: Do I have to stay in the Uk for 3yrs to get a curve credit card
I’ve been in the UK for 3months and I don’t know if it’s possible to get a credit card. Would appreciate feedback from anyone on this, as I would like to start building my credit. Thanks guys I'm also at this stage . Got in in January. Registered and make reports of my house rent on Credditladder, did a sim contract with 3 via direct debit, I am also on the electoral register, but no luck getting a credit card yet to build my credit history. I got 60% approval rate for Lloyds credit card on moneysavingexpert.com, but at the end, I was told I didn't qualify for the card. |

Safeob27: Hi guys, please permit me to post this question here, I just need advice from people already living in the UK
Please I have offers from Bournemouth university and Kingston university to study Adult nursing msc and I am having trouble deciding which to pick . I am well aware that Kingston is close to London so rent is so high but my husband is a banker and feels there would be more opportunities for him closer to London. Now if I pick Kingston are there areas with affordable rent we can live in , that is not so far from school ?
Please I would love to hear from people who have lived in Bournemouth or surrey please
Thank you I live in Bournemouth and it's also quite expensive too. It's 2hours + away from London by Coach and only an hour drive by normal car. Studio apartment gets as high as £800 per month. |

TheGuyFromHR: Of course you won't get any online or standard exchange rate in the real world. Each time you withdraw, the banks include conversion charges. Best to pull out the money in larger chunks or spend it on major expenses at a go such as the newly increased energy bill, for instance. Thanks. I'll use your advice. |

DisGuy: Seems you have to deal with it like that. The general advice is to take £ to UK
A good conversion rate in the UK will be the banks offering more value for your Pounds rather than getting it cheaper
Oanda is also aggregating rate supplied by the market not necessarily the official rate. You can try post office or revolut if you have the cash at hand Thanks for the insight. |

Hello everyone. I'd like to know if there is any bank here in the UK that I can get a good conversion rate similar to what is on oanda.com.
I have a GTBank Dollar card linked to my GTBank USD domiciliary account and I have been using it to withdraw since we got here and it appears no ATM is giving the rate oanda.com has on their website.
For instance, if I withdraw 100 pounds, I get charged about $158 (inclusive of charges), meaning 1 pound is around 1.55 dollars. On oanda.com, 1 pound is around 1.35 dollars. Abi there is now official rate and bank rate in the UK ni? grin
Kindly advice. |

ThaSlimKidd: Not exactly. You'd be asked to click to proceed to the TLS partner site to upload your documents. (that's if you chose self-service during visa appointment date). Yes you can log out and log back in. You'd be sent a link to continue from your last stop. Hey bro, I want to ask a question about assisted service please. Am I to print out all my documents and take them along on the day of my appointment? I currently have them scanned and in pdf format on my phone. Kindly advice. |
