Good post bro, I fear for majority of youth and teenagers of our generation. The devil have so trapped them under the sin of lust and immorality. But let him that want to be saved heed the unfailing Word of GOD. Obedience is, and will always be better than sacrifice. Martins301:The concept is simple, eternity awaits us all -all men. Eternity either in heaven or in hell. Anyone that misses heaven can never miss hell. It is ether of these two. Now, going to heaven is the best thing that could ever happen to mankind, and as we know, good things never comes easy thus, making heaven is the hardest thing in mankind. Thank GOD for JESUS CHRIST, He made it possible for us. Well, reading through the Bible, you'll come to find it divided into three parts -the commandments, the promise and the punishments. The commandments of GOD encompasses His law, precepts, statutes etc that we ought to abide in JESUS to make heaven. The promises are blessings, heaven, guidance, protection, providence, long life, prosperity, success,rewards, etc The punishments are curses and of course, hell fall under this category. So Martins, what ever category of these three that spur you to serve the LORD, it doesn't matters. All that matter is to do the first, you will get the second and automatically avoid the third. On your second question, forgive me but I wish not to judge anyone. Everyone is entitled to his or her belief. The word of GOD (Bible) is there to study, GOD is in heaven to hear our prayers and clear all our doubts, JESUS CHRIST is ever ready to reveal Himself to all who deligently seek Him and want to be saved. radiorebel:It depends on the grace of the person, for example, when David sinned, he prayed that GOD should not take His Holy Spirit away from him, he prayed for forgiveness. Also, the group of brethrens Christ was referring to in Matt 7:22 fall under this category too. They would do great works in His name, but yet, workers of iniquity. This is the reason why the word of GOD said we should grieve not the Holy Spirit which dwell in us by sinning. For some others, after sinning, the Holy Spirit leaves them till they reconcile with GOD. But in all these, one thing stands out, no matter our works or what we do or who we are, if we die a sinner without repenting, hell is the destination for such soul. That is why JESUS urge us to watch and pray and hold fast to our salvation coz we dunno when we'll die or when he'll come. Sin is very dangerous, the soul that sinneth shalt die |

Yes He did: "But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. " (Matthew 5:22) "And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. " (Matthew 13:42) "Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. " (Matthew 18: "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: " (Matthew 25:41) "And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. " (Mark 9:45-46) All these master JESUS preached about. I wonder why many still don't believe. Even in old testament, it was saith by the LORD: "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh."
