The announcement of a ceasefire by the terrorist group, Boko Haram, has been greeted with condemnation by thousands of youths from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital and environs as they gathered yesterday morning at Ramat square in the metropolis to reject the offer by the sect. Chanting “No amnesty, no reconciliation and no dialogue”, the youths marched to the Shehu of Borno’s Palace showing their total rejection and disregard to the purported ceasefire declared by Boko Haram early this week. It was learnt that the leaders of volunteer youths, popularly called ‘Civilian JTF’, who have achieved modest success in hunting suspected Boko Haram members for more than a month now, mobilized and invited all their members across the Maiduguri metropolitan council (MMC) in order to take a collective decision and issue a response to the declaration of a ceasefire by a purported deputy leader of the sect, Imam Muhammad Marwana, who spoke to the Hausa service of Voice of America (VOA) monitored in Abuja on Sunday. “No; we don’t need or like Boko Haram ceasefire offer, we don’t accept it, we have rejected the offer in totality; we disregard their ceasefire and we would continue hunting Boko Haram sect members who caused us to suffer most in Borno state,” a leader of a youths group from Gwange II said. www.informationng.com/2013/07/maiduguri-volunteer-youths-protest-kick-against-boko-haram-ceasefire-offer.html?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter |

Eslopy: . Wonderful my friend nice list i don't buy the idea of Enyeama as no.1 Ejide is better, infact Enyeama needs screening, did you see the goal Diego Forlan scored him that was a crappy goalkeeping by Enyeama, His Availability Does Not Make Him The Best. Thankuwelcome broda. Enyeama is simply overrated, his time with the super eagles is over due. The injury Ejide got against cape verde before the afcon really cost him his place as super eagles number 1. i wonder why Keshi refused to consider him again. No doubt,' Ejide is a good keeper he only need a more playing time with the super eagles to improve. i pray Keshi will take the risk and do away with Enyeama just like the way he did to Yobo with the discovery of Omeruo. for the first time in many yrs Nigeria can now boast of first eleven. The top ten should be 1. mikel 2. emenike 3. moses 4. oboabona 5. onazi 6. Mba 7. omeruo 8.Echijele 9. ambrose. 10. Austin Ejide |
Frostyzone: Where is Okocha, Kanu and Sunday Oliseh? The list is a joke without this 3 people, especially Oliseh that scored the cup winning goal against Cameroon at the just concluded 2013 nations cup.attention seeker |

From my observation, i can now conclude that Keshi has succeeded in doing a great job with the home base players. you need to see an overwhelm spectators trying to catch a glimpse of the action. the stadium was fielded to its capacity. The match was schedule at 4pm but people started to troop in as early as 11 am. The afcon has really shaped people's conception about the home base players. imagine if it were those days, i bet just few pple would bother to watch. |
