femi4: They are so ordinary....Uruguay will nail them at least 4-0

Uruguay always play play-off with weak teams from Asia. Next time the play-off should be between Africa and South American opposition.
That Asia continent is very weak
A typical comment coming from a typical football fan. Why not wait for the outcome of the game instead of casting your judgement on the team. On paper, yes Uruguay may have an easy ride but duh this is football and anything can happen.

Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has said he
expects Jordan to give his team of local league
players a tough match today.
Jordan will use today’s friendly to prepare for
a 2014 World Cup final playoff against
Uruguay.
“Jordan has been together for a while and they
play Uruguay in the World Cup playoff, so we
are playing a very strong team and it would be
a difficult game,” Keshi warned ahead of the
first-ever clash between the two countries at
this level.
Nigeria will use this match to begin
preparations for next year’s CHAN in South
Africa.
Keshi has handed a chance for several new
comers like central midfielder Olayinka
Oyeleke of promoted Crown FC to stake a
claim for places in his CHAN squad.
He said he has been satisfied with the fitness
level of the players.
“The performance is okay. They are really
pushing hard to be there. It’s not easy, some
of them are new and it’s their first time, so I
expect the early panic I have seen from them,”
he said.
“But in all, I am impressed at their fitness
level. We will continue to do our best but it’s
just that the time is too short for us to do
anything before the Jordan game.”
Nigeria are expected to open training camp for
CHAN in December.
They are drawn against hosts South Africa, Mali
and Mozambique in the first round of the
tournament strictly for players featuring in
their various local leagues in Africa.

You must be a very bad fellow for asking her to finish NYSC first. Do You knw when next there wul be another vacancy in that agency? It is clearly written on the application for one to tick NYSC status eg still serving, not served, served etc. So i see no reason for you advicing her to wait untill she completed her service

Referee Nestor Pitana from an area of early
Roman Catholic missionary called Corpus-
Misiones in Argentina would be the umpire
when Sweden and Nigeria exchange fireworks
at the Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium today.
Designated Match No. 24, the kick off is fixed
at 20:00 pm local time which is 5:00pm in
Nigeria with the 38-year-old Argentine
alongside two of compatriots and another
official from Costa Rica taking charge of the
game.
Juan Pablo and Diego Bonfa would serve as
Assistant Referee 1& 2 while Hugo Cruz would
serve as the Fourth Official.
The match commissioner is burly President of
Panamanian Football Federation
(FEPAFUT); Mr. Pedro Chaluja.
Meanwhile, both Sweden and Nigeria would be
wearing their contrasting famous national team
jerseys. The Golden Eaglets would spot
their traditional green colours while the
Swedes would wear yellow attire.

Obi1kenobi: It's funny how revealing self-evident truth is "colonial mentality". I guess if I say America is a more developed nation than Nigeria, or Messi is better than Ahmed Musa, that's "colonial mentality" too. I was addressing the first comment claiming white countries are bigger age cheats than Nigeria - which is a blatant lie. That we're not cheating as much as before is because of the new MRI implementation - which isn't foolproof, although it can at least, seperate a 17-year old from the 26-year-olds like Fortune Chukwudi who we were fielding at U-17. If not for the MRI, the same mentality that makes over 90% of Nigerian jambites to cheat (that one na another matter) is the same mentality that makes most Nigerian players to lie about their age.

Europeans - particularly Western Europe - don't age-cheat in competitions. South Americans have been implicated before but they are learners compared to Africans. Among Africans, West Africans are the worst offenders.

Only the new MRI scheme is bringing back some sanity. And they were brought because of teams like us. Europeans don't use MRI's in their age-grade UEFA competitions because they trust their system.

If you like call it "colonial mentality" or "inferiority complex". That's your problem. I state the truth as I see it and I don't condone cheating.
i still finds it difficult to understand your point exactly. The more you post, the more you continue to flop. Oh Europeans dont use MRI because they trust their age-grade competion? Lol. You sounded more diplomatic on this issue. Meanwhile the important thing be say this crop of players falls within the age bracket. If you still doubt their age kindly write to fifa at football@fifa.com or visit their headquaters in Zurick and lay your complain.
