My ppa has bin fu'ked in terms of hustlin chances, nufin special at all, jst kinda 4rm skul 2 lodge every day, if we no dey skul, we either dey play whot, drink gin(person no fit dey use 19,500 change buy beer), do small party(d locals lyk party die), pursue nupe or yoruba gals(personally i no lyk corp memba females, dem 2 old 4 my eye, and me na young bobo), learn bike, play ball, charge fone, shit, mess, put bucket inside my rum take collect rain water 4rm ceiling, dey listen 2 my lodge mates dey f'ck 4 night, watch ball, play ball, watch film, visit nairaland, trek 3km, waka go river, catch toad use am prepare jollof, pick snail, chop cat, party naked, chop termite, teach 4 sku, meet empty headed students, meet smart students wey u go wish say dem dey beta environment, dey try use english communicate with students wey önly sabi speak nupe, wonder why white man bring dis english wahala come africa, learn how to smoke, play monopoly, flog students, read gmat, read and read, mark scripts, thank God 4 impact wey u dey get 4 d place, greet tire, chop local rice, wonder why we naija dey import rice, pray make God politicians wey no want make dem increase alawe, laugh, wonder wetin u go do afta service, meet wonderful people...... Do not report anything to anybody yet. Wait until the end of this month. If you're paid, then you may report. If no, you'll know this is your allowance for this month pre-paid. Alternatively, you may go to them to seek clarification, if they tell you it is a mistake, then you may refund it. D

Martowskin: My fellow corp members, I need ur help cos am confuse......I gave an assignment to my student, they failed d questions, I gave d same questions as class work, they still failed it, I finally gave dem correction and set d same questions as test, is so furstrating marking d scripts cos dey ar still failing. The problems, I think could be these: They really don't care, they can't learn with the approach you're using, maybe you should try another approach, say, the interactive approach. Look at their faces, do you see the willingness and desire to learn in them? If no, you'll have to counsel before you teach. Some of them need to be told WHY education matters.

So I got a notification today that my account has been credited with 19.8k. Given that I didn't get my April allowance, I hope this is it. I certainly hope they aren't paying me the May allowance two weeks early. No Sir, I hope not.

Namec, I relocated to Lagos too, and i completed my reg on the 19th of April. I did my May clearance last week thurs. In case u dont know clearance is always from the 1st - 7th of every month. However, clearance for the month of May started in Lagos on the 30th, cos of the May 1st Pub hols, and has ended today (wish i had seen ur post before now). I received a credit alert notifying me of the payment of my April allowance ds afternoon. Was surprised though, cos i thought they were going to delay d allowance for close to two months. So, i think you should spare ursef the eroneous impression of thinking your allowance will be delayed for 3months because u redeployed. Just make sure d June edition dosnt elude u.
By the way, where were u posted?

I think you should accept responsibility for missing it. The dates for clearance were clearly stated. So, if you missed it, it is your fault, mainly.

I relocated from the North to Lag, but couldn't complete registration at the zonal level till Friday, which incidentally, was the day of clearance for May allowance. My question now is, is it possible for me to get the allowance for April when they eventually pay relocated corpers after the 2-3 months?

be that as it may, I still believe private schools are also open for posting. Talked with my friend who owns one of such, he said he would have told me to come serve in his school if not for the fact that he did not register with Nysc Lagos.

In any case, one of my coursemates who was deployed to Lagos was posted to a missionary school in Surulere. Mission schools aren't public entities now, are they?

Just finished registration at Surulere today and went to UBA to open the a/c (mttchew, I hate UBA). Really, the antics of those people at the Secretariat has supertired me. Wrote my name in the Book of Life today. With the way it has been rough-handled, it looked more like a book of .....(well, lets not even mention it). Say, must I have a request letter from where I wanna serve? Or will just giving them the name alone be enough?

Thank God I came early today. Mehn, did I suffer on monday? You need to have seen the battle royale between pregnant ladies, mothering ladies, Iya Apatis and Opelenges at the call-up submission point. Was as deflated as a burst balloon by the time I left. Thank God today na different story.
