globalaid: am also looking for a shipper within maryland and new york area. 100 lbs every two weeks. My main worry is that i want a reliable and efficient shipper. am looking at 7 to 10 days to Lagos or less. I use Ship Afrika... based in Newark, NJ. They take 5 days to Lagos. Very professional and efficient. Best thing about them is their online system. You can get live estimates, book your shipment and track it until you get them. Maybe you should try Ship Afrika. They've simply been the best shipping company I have ever shipped with. Simply the fact that I can ship and track my items online on their own website makes me feel like I have absolute control of my load. Whenever I send things to them, they add it to my inventory and I can see what the boxes look like and can book from there. You should check them out for real. A very cool company... simply the best! I've been using Ship Afrika and they have been enjoyable to ship with. Just the fact that I can have full control of my shipments from their website is something I've never seen before. The only place you can ship, track, and manage your load online is www.shipafrika.com. There's no other company that allows you to have control of your items and ship at very cheap rates. Definitely check them out. Highly recommended. Here's a pic from their ad i saw..

Not only are their rates cheap, but this is the only company today that gives you everything you need to control your freight from anywhere in the world through their website www.shipafrika.com. Their shipping service is very smooth. Every time they have something to ship for you, they will add all of the details to your inventory (including pictures of the freight... coolest thing ever), but you will need to create an account for yourself on their website (and this is free too). You can get estimates, or book directly from their website anytime you want them to ship those things to you (no need for those long annoying phone calls with a shipper or stupid paperwork unless it's absolutely necessary). You get email alerts every time your shipment status has changed, and you can even track it on THEIR website (no third party redirects), until delivery. COOLEST shipping company ever!!!
