I asked, "Why do Christians believe Boko Haram represent Islam? Is it bias, interests and sentiments or they are just innocently naive?

For Kichime, it is a form of structural naivety. Also, unlike Islam, the average Nigerian Christian does not have access to learn about other religions except what he hears and sees. Muslims, for example, can read about Moses, Jesus, Abraham in their Qur'an but the same cannot be said for the Christians.
