What's painful is, his colleague who came a yr before him and started practicing law while managing with a law firm, with 180k to start. Law firm gave him very short time to get his work permit. Many said to him the easiest way was to get married but he said "Jesus forbids, I can't fake marriage". He was sent back to Lagos now since jesus forbade him to marry


It is not even about fake marriage. I don't like that too. It is about finding your love life with USC and get serious with it not just for paper. He's regretting now in the sense that it is painful bcus they made him tasted the sweet and sent him packing. But my cousin married genuinely with a Muslima. He decided to attend "as-salatu" program in TX and met the lady. He wasted no time and pushed marriage to her head straight up. Luckily enough, she's Nigerian American by virtues of her parents. But she's 100% American never been to nija.

Really depends on state law and the uni itself. Besides you really have to qualify for it. Qualifications begin with your immigration status. I once tried this for my sister few yrs ago when she wanted to study her masters as international student. They told me frankly that she isn't qualify for any types of Financial assistance after i made inquiries. Plus a graduate study with a full funding with GA or RA is not guarantee full financial support. As you rightly said, scholarship the easiest way and fully funded. This is the state of Geogia. My cousin came here 2yrs ago for his masters. He paid his tuition in full from nija before he came at all. He graduated May 2016 and he is already practicing law with a law firm. Ofc, this wasn't possible if not that he was smart enough to marry American citizen 4 months ago. Otherwise, he would be back home by now bcus his student status lapsed in June this yr. Although that was not his original plan. He wanted to go back home but i convinced him to stay instead since he will be making close to 6 figures to start. I think what they failed to understand is that, different people chose different subject of interest they feel confortable with. For instance, those who chose to focus on aqeeda issue might not know how to debate comparative religion. That's a big difference as well. Everyone with his area professionalism. Those who are expert in figh may know little to nothing of Islamic sciences and or Islamic spirituality etc. Islam is too broad to fixate on just one subject. And quiet frankly, those who chose aqeeda or figh only may have no iota of knowledge about Islamic eschatology and knowledge of Islamic epistemology. There are various sources of knowledge in Islam of which Quran itself is prioritised. They all go back there.

I think Gregchambers''s best is to contact local Muslims in his area. Even if he doesn't have Muslims locally, since he's sincerely looking to revert, he can go to any length to do so by visiting masajid.


All you need right now to confirm these basics of Islam. These are mandatory tenets or belief system you must have faith in to be Muslim. If you agree, you are good to go, i:e you are ready to take declaration of faith (Shahada).

Verily, there is no difference with respect to persecutions in those countries you mentioned. However, most of those countries where conflicts and persecutions are usually within Muslim communities by Muslims in most cases. The case of Burma however requires collective attention of all Muslims to put differences aside and kick against common enemies. What's going on in Burma is a case of pure oppression of Muslims by kufar. Hence, collective action of all Muslims regardless of our differences is needed here.

Well, enough said already. This endless cycle of argument doesn't make sense. I have breakdown stuff for you in the other thread since you could not watch the clip for some reason, and you could not refute the allegations brought forth. Unless and until you refute your scholars where they invented and innovated terminologies they used which Allah and his messanger(saw) did not use, then, you are wasting your time.

What i have noticed is you and your cohorts have problems with words and terms instead of focusing on the essence. And i am honestly tired of going over it again and again. Imam Shafi'i of all people to have uttered that nonsense?. Even if he did at all, according to what i am reading here says he might be referring to pseudo. The same nonsense allegations they made about Ibn Tayimmiya that he condemned tassawuf and they cant refute me after i dug stuff up.


So if there is no sufism (i:e tassawuf, ihsan, tazkiya) in islam, then, start by refuting your sheikh Ibn Tayimmiya himself bcus was a member of sufi tariqa as well. Until you can bring evidence to suggest otherwise, there is nothing to talk about

I knew you would come up with excuses. You are afraid of truth. Anyways, you claimed there is no Sufism in Islam and i tried many times to convince you. The word "sufi" is invented word just like "aqeeda" is an invented word which was derived from "akada" which means to tie down. The same is true of innovated words like tassawuf(sufism), tawasul(wasila). The ulama invented these, perhaps, for convenience. But the word used in kitab and sunnah is Ihsan or tazkiya to describe what is now known ass sufism. It means the same as sufism or tassawuf. So, how then you got the nerve to say there is no Sufism in Islam if ihsan and tazkiya are mentioned in the kitab and sunnah?. If you are not comfortable with the word, fine, but denying the essence makes you and your fellow alhubidah misguided folks.

The same is true of innovated words like tawhid Hakimiya, Tawheed ar-Ruboobiyyah Tawheed al-Uloohiyyah. These are innovated terms and we dont really need them since kitab and sunnah already comprised of Allah's Names and Attributes. So if you dont have problems with these terms, why do you have problem with the word "Sufi"?. This goes to show that you have a mission.

Good. Leave it like that. You have sworn on a statement you said was attributed to him. Thats enough. You shall bear the consequences of that in Hereafter. Remember his statement made compound condemnation of the entire people who adhere to the ideology from the time he made the alleged statement to present. Hence, the consequences abound.
