Actually, I have NOT get this concept of Ruhanniya of a thing. I took these things to be angel. There is some strange things I normally felt then. After much spiritual exercise, then there come a LUCID dreams where I will see that I being transported (flying) wherever I wanted with full consciousness that somebody is carrying me.

In fact I can feel their touches, with full awareness, knowing that this not just dream. Most time is because of this awareness couple with being "scared" that normally make me to regain my physical consciousness.

And at time before fully regaining my physical consciousness, in a semi wakefulness, on my bed I can still feel those touches. Is this ruhanniya or what?

Sheikh Daud said they are malaika felefele (lower rank). My sheikh said they are in the middle i:e malaikat, ruhaniya, jinn. That's they follow malaikat in ranks and capacity.

But since Allah doesnt mention them directly by name is the reason some say they are jinn. Bcus they only believe in malaikat, human and jinn nothing else.

Whats the fuss about?. Whoever wants to have extra ibadah on the 15 of shaban has the right to do so. You can avoid stupid noise by keeping and doing everything in your privacy to avoid loud mouths from tagging you bidah. Both sides have valid reason. Our fathers have studied. Matter of fact, this was subject of discussion in yesterday kutba. Imam has no problem with it. From A-Z was devoted to Shaban in preparation for Ramadan. So abeg, whoever wants to devote the day for worship should do so in privacy. This is simply a matter of the juristic difference surrounding mid-Sha‘ban. And insofar as there is a legitimate difference on the subject, there need be no fussing over the 15th of Sha‘ban; no dividing Muslims over it; no deploying it as a benchmark to distinguish ‘pure’ follower of the Sunnah from ‘tainted’ ones; and no whipping up a frenzy among the public by blowing things out of proportion. Wherever such schisms are occurring, they simply have to stop, and repentance be made.

Lol...welcome the to the world of "Islamic spirituality", Ihsan. Welcome to at-tassawuf. When Jibril(as) came to inquire about Iman from nabi(saw) and about ihsan, He asked ‘What is al-Ihsaan?’ Is there something after Imaan?

The Holy Prophet Muhammad ( s.a.w ) replies and says, ‘Ihsaan is:

An tahbudallaha ka annaka tara

That you should worship Allah , Most High,: That you should live for Allah , Most High, as though you are seeing Him


But can we see Allah , Most High,? When Musa ( a.s ), the Prophet Moses ( a.s ), was on the mountain, Mount Sinai, he spoke and he said to Allah , Most High,:



[the 7th Sura, al-Araaf, Verse 143]: Show me Your face, I want to see You (with these eyes)




Allah , Most High, responded and said: Not possible! You can’t see Me! Not with these eyes!


Then what does it mean that, you should worship Allah , Most High,, as though you are seeing Him?


The companions of the Holy Prophet ( s.a.w ) they asked, ‘O Messenger! Will we be able to see Allah , Most High, on the last day, the Last Day?’ He responded and he asked, ‘Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun when it is mid-day?’ They said, ‘No problem we can see it.’ He asked, ‘Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon when it is full moon?’ They said, ‘No!’ He said, ‘that’s how you are going to see your Lord on the Last Day.’

Allah , Most High, says, ‘You can’t see Me’ and the Holy Prophet ( s.a.w ) says, ‘you will see Him’?. What is the explanation? Now we can understand that there is no contradiction here. The meaning is, ‘You can’t see Me with these (physical) eyes.’


Do we have any other eyes besides these eyes (physical eyes)? The Holy Qur’aan says, ‘Yes! The heart can see’,

Do we have any other eyes besides these eyes? Do we have any other means of acquiring knowledge other than through external observation?. Some say knowledge is only restricted to text. These are the only eyes that we have?. The Holy Qur’aan says, ‘No!’ and it gives a different epistemology. Sura Hajj where Allah, Most High, addresses the people who are internally dead, spiritually dead.

Verse 46

"Will they not travel through the earth? So that perhaps, perchance, (by traveling through the earth) their dead hearts might come alive"


Now with a heart which has come alive they will be able to understand what the intellect could not! What rationality could not! What external observation could not!


When the heart comes alive, it can hear what otherwise could not be heard

See the ayah above ^^ answers your concern. You interpreted "internal eyes" literally. If Quran talks metaphorically, why we can do the same?


Allow me to quote Sheikh Imran perhaps, you might understand that we have not only this eyes, ears but we also have "ears" with which we hear. We have "eyes" with which we see

He quoted this hadith

"You will surely fight the Jews and you will surely kill them (meaning: you will be successful in that fight). At that time the stones will speak. ‘O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me. Come and kill him’"

"When the stones begin to speak, with which ears will we hear? Will this be the first time that the stones speak? No! The stones spoke to the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( s.a.w ) in his lifetime. They offered ‘salaams’ to him. If we were there would we have heard? No! He was not hearing with these ears. It is when the heart has come alive, has faith in it and submits to the Supreme Authority of Allah , Most High, and not the supreme authority of the state, it is then that the heart can hear. ......

This is Islamic Spirituality. It has unfortunately been given a new term, coined by someone, sometime, somewhere. The term which was coined was Tasawwuf. I wish it had never been coined. because Tasawwuf and al-Ihsaan mean the same thing. Allah , Most High, delivered this word, al-Ihsaan to us, we should have stayed with this term.


So if you hear alfa say " i see Allah" means they see Allah's Signs. It is what Yoruba people coined "Oju Inu" . Hope this helps you. You see when you started this thread and claimed to 'see' malaikat. Did you notice reactions you got from some brothers?

1- whats the difference between the dream of a believer & a non-believer ? Because the dream of nabiy yusuf (as) came to pass, that of the prisoners & king who are unbelievers also came to pass, they were all accurate.

in my opinion, to certain extent, dreams of non-believers may also be truthful. True dreams and true visions are not confined to muslims only. Wife of Obafemi Awolowo had a dream or vision that her in law, VP Yemi Osinbajo would lead Nigeria in the future. matter of fact she actually said she would be nigerian president. That almost came through when fake news broke out that Buhari passed in London. Now this doesnt mean he may presido actually. I believe her dream has come to pass even though Yemi ius not official president of the country.

Also, it is said that a kafir woman had dream that God inspired her that Kaaba should be covered with black clothe. I dont have actual hadith for this.

2- have you ever had a dream that you believe to be true ? What gave you the assurance ?

Well, i usually dont. But people close to me, if they have dreams about me or around me usually come through. For instance, in 2000, i was in ilorin (college) while my sister was in lagos. She had a dream that i passed away. She quickly made a move with tears in her eyes to papa to report the incident. So, there comes demon in human disguise doing her things behind my back without me knowing (after investigation). And i was actually heedless of the sign bcus i met old woman in ilorin late night on my way to friend's house. She told me to come close to her but i refused. She said you have a "mark" on your forehead but i snubbed her. The woman too doesnt appear to be muslim. Let's leave this here. In late 2012, a friend of mine who is Hindu, had two dreams about me. Good and bad simultaneously. His bad dream was i was spreading hot pepper on kitchen table and my eyes was red and i looked scared. His father who is christian-hindu said this is bad sign of trouble. Both came to pass shortly later. But you know empireee now, i dont waste no time. Quickly embarked on dua. And by the time the dream came to passed, it subsided

3- the prophet Ibrahim (as) had a dream where he saw him self slaughtering his son. Now the scriptures are all against human sacrifice, why did he still went ahead with it ? He didnt say to his son “God said I should sacrifice you but said “I saw my self slaughtering you, what do you say ?“ but when the son responded “do what you are ordered“ , why didnt they take it as a bad dream since its against the scripture ? Or is it that the prophets (as) dont have fake dreams ? even when its clearly anti-scripture ?

You dont have to agree with me on this. This incident of nabi Ibrahim(as) was symbolism. And there is a lesson to learn from it. The lesson is total submission to Allah without questioning. It is very hard. Bcus nabi(as) passed this test and trials was the reason he became Khalil-Allah (Friend of God). Which means for someone to be Allah's friend, you gonna have to go through tests and trials. no shortcuts.

So here is what his dream meant. but you dont have to accept it. The dream is sending message to Arabs in particular for their pending destruction in akhir zaman. We read in ahadith:

#Allah's Messenger (S+) said, "One of the signs of the approach of the Last Hour will be the destruction of the Arabs."



#"There will be civil strife which will wipe out the Arabs, and their slain will go to Hell. During it the tongue will be more severe than blows of the sword."


#"The people will flee from the Dajjaal (the Anti- Christ) till they will take shelter in the mountains." Umm Sharik said that she asked: "Where will be the Arabs at this time?" He answered: "They will be few (in number)."


Now this is hadith i am really concerned about. Narrated Zainab bint Jahsh:


The Prophet got up from his sleep with a flushed red face and said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe to the Arabs, from the Great evil that is nearly approaching them. Today a gap has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this." (Sufyan illustrated by this forming the number 90 or 100 with his fingers.) It was asked, "Shall we be destroyed though there are righteous people among us?" The Prophet said, "Yes, if evil increased."

One doesnt need Phd to figure out evil is increasing or has increased in Arabian peninsular. So nabi ibrahim[as] accepted Allah's offer in his dream to slaughter his son. His acceptance symbolizes Arabs would become sacrificial animals in akhir zaman{last Age}. Are we not seeing that now?. They will be wiped out like plague...said another hadith. So this ileya (eld) rams, sheep, cow, camel we slaughter are mere symbolism. but there is more to it. The real sacrifice is what we are witnessing now and will continue to witness. There is more i can say on this but i might occupy the forum if i dont stop here

4- can the devil disguise as a prophet, angel, walliyy in order to mislead ? How do we ascertain?

Yes, to certain extent. We read experience of Sheikh Jilani's encounter with shaytan disguising as God even if your tassawuf is pure. So the best defense is not to accept anything we see to be true at first until we bold enough to do what Sheikh Jilani did by saying "azubillahi mina shaytani rajim". If indeed that's the devil, he cant stand that. My pap said he encountered similar when i talked to him about it in 2012. When he uttered the phrase, devil disappeared and he continued his journey of tassawuf until the door was open to his ruhaniya. But people who mix or call on others besides Allah and call it "tassawuf" may be completely deceived if they are so careless.

5- imam ibn hanbal (ra) dreamt of God who told him the best deed to get close to him is his words, now how was he sure who he saw was actually God ?
What was his size ? What colour ? in what form ? since the Quran says nothing is like unto him. As knowledgeble as he was in deen/fiqh how come “disregarded“ & went on to believed he actually saw God & not the devil in disguise ? I want us all to solve these intricases of dream together, coz I smell controversy

This doesnt say Imam actually saw God. We cant see God OBVIOUSLY due to this aya of Quran 7:143 "la ta ro ni"

[ Allah ] said, "You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me." But we can 'see' God with our 'internal eyes' i:e eyes of the heart not our material eyes.

You didnt admit the man lied abotu sufi though despite showing you evidences from his video comments. Well, it is not about sufi's position, it is about opinion of scholars on khidr. And this has nothing to do with aqeeda. One thing is clear, majority of scholars dont think khidr was a prophet. There was no unanimous opinion on this as the man in the video claimed.

One of the sufi' positions about him is what i told you earlier that the encounter btw him and Musa(as) was a form of symbolism. At least the man in your video tried to say something like but his knowledge is limited.

When he gained confidence and full blown tassawuf, he would catch them and detain them for sometime (imprison). They cried "Alhaji please please please we not gonna disturb you anymore.
