@em.piree formulation of salawat/daus wasnt bidiatic until “they“ came. The sahabas have being formulating & using duas in the presence of the holy prophet (saw) without him objecting to it, he even remarked that some prayed with ISMUL AZAM

. وزكَّانا وإيَّاكم بالصَّلاة عليه

، أفضلَ ما زكَّى أحدًا من أُمَّتِهِ بصلاته عليه

Ibn Bunan al-Asbahani (رحمه الله) says: I once saw Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) in a dream and asked, "O Nabi of Allaah (صلى الله عليه وسلم), have you given any special honour to Muhammad Ibn Idrees ash-Shafi'ee (رحمه الله)?"

Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) replied, "Yes, I have asked Allaah (سبحانه و تعالى) to excuse him from reckoning on the Day of Qiyamah." I asked, "What was the reason for this?"

Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) replied, "He recited a unique durood upon me."

I asked, "What durood did he recite?"

Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) answered, "He would say,


O Allaah (سبحانه و تعالى), bestow Your mercy and blessings upon Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) whenever he is remembered, and bestow Your mercy and blessings upon Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) whenever he is not remembered.'"

I have been looking for this salawat long time. This is salawat we used to recite after completing marathon Yasin, Jabariya, khutba etc. We used to recite 1000 of them recite collectively. I just recited along with them back then but i was sure it was salams on the nabi(SAW).


اللهم صل الله سيدنا محمدين و على عليه و صاحبي و ليبية و على قولي من أجرني ورجه

allahuma salle allah sayyidina muhammadin wa ala alihi wa sahabi wa libayt wa ala kulli min ajirni warajahi

I have been told to free you actually but i should say something now. What you dont get is you guys are condemning for generalizing people. My brother , I don't know how old are you. I can say one thing sha, the last link here is made in Nigeria product then. I know this very well, because my mom owned many of there product in 70s to 90s before they ruined the country, imagine if most of these things and many others are made in Nigeria then. You can see how much damage they did to our country. If said up to 93 Nigeria machine tools Oshogbo used to manufacture industrial machinery some people that may not know this will pick up arguments with me.

Yup, it is possible ONLY if both sides would let their guard down. No side is guilty free. I already had this discussion with them before and it seems it is part of their creed to curse. And I have advised them that it is not appropriate to curse muslims. If Allah rained curses on certain believers, it is only right of Allah, just as much as I told abdelkabir that calling others names is right of Allah and His messanger(SAW). Both sides said if nabi cursed "them" or "call them names" why cant we?. There is absolutely no wisdom in that.

So the solution is very simple, let your guard down. If it is so much important to "you" to call names or curse people, so do in your privacy. That's btw "you" and Allah. I never wanted to comment in this thread if not for the fact that you mentioned me.

See, actually, you are the one going about "tafsir" of the ayah. Op is not dwelling on that particular ayah from what i understand. He is actually addressing significance of "NUMBER 19" for the fact that it didnt happen by accident. From what i understand, op is not "interpreting or re-interpreting" the verse. You took it upon yourself. The are other significant points raised in his op concerning the NUMBER.

Furthermore, Allah doesn't have to give us details of 19 whether it is important or not. That's not relevant to the revelation. Just like he did not give details of some other things. The only problem might be if people attribute or ascribe silly importance to it like "NUMBER 19 brings me luck". That may be problematic. If you think sahaba understood everything about Quran you are joking.

So from what i understood, op was not about the ayah per se. He merely cited the ayah. All other things you copied, as the brother said from my attachments above, it is just 'tailored'. Nothing happens in the Quran by accident. The number 19 being coincidence in many mathematical calculations as highlighted above did not happen by accident at all. So call this post of mine 'trash' again
