Is there anything hard for God to do?Nothing is hard for God to do BUT God would not do anything that would relegate His Majesty 2) Is it impossible for God be in two places at the same time?God is All Knowing All Wise. He can be anywhere by His Knowledge. He can see anything, anywhere anytime without splitting Himself into two beings. He is NOT fixed in a place or time. And definitely cannot be SEEN by humans |
Auki:JazakaAllahu khayran. I did not mean it that way but thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. |
FriendChoice:Obviously, you are quiet immature. I dont see anything sunnatic in your writeup. I fee sorry for this generation. Go and listen to your Salafi Sheikh Abu Usamah in my other thread "Sheik Adam". He addressed people like you. |
Nafizzey:if you had lived in the south west, you could understand yoruba. From what i understand, many Sufis in the north are extreme and that may be undesirable. jsut follow what i extracted from his Youtube lecture. It is basic adhab of dua |
FriendChoice:See highlighted part?, that's very disrespectful. This is why people run away from salafi people. You appeared to be insulting Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani (ra). And no one says there is words superior to the words that came out of the lips of the blessed of nabi(saw). Solati faith is gleaned from Qur'an itself. What's wrong if he got it from dream?. Did not the prophet said there are true dreams and true visions?. Honestly, sometimes, it is a waste of time talking to you brothers bcus you have different ears. Now that you accused Sheikh Tijjani, do you know that Imam Bukhari(ra) whom we know famously today as Sahih of Bukhari, his collection of hadith came through dream but he did not meet the prophet. He had a dream that he saw the prophet and he was instructed by the prophet in his dream to compile hadith. So do you believe this?. If you do, do you have right to condemn Sheikh Tijjani?. Also Imam Maliki went to grave of the prophet(saw) before he compiled his Muwatta. He made salawat at nabi's grave and prophet responded to every hadith his narrated and the prophet would say at every hadith "sahih", "daef" etc to clarify them. Do you believe this as well?. I am really tired of you roadside protestant muslims that have absolutely no respect for shuyuk you dont deem scholars. So pathetic! What exactly is haram or mukruh or shirk in solati faith, can you tell us?. phrases in solatih faith are in the Qur'an. |
RABIUSHILE04:Actually you should not be too attached with Imam Ibn Tayimmiyah(ra). He was a great scholar and was criticized by his contemporaries. He did reject practices that are valid in islam and was challenged and defeated by the sufis of his time. But they never disrespected him like you people do to other shuyuk you dont like today. Yes, Ibn Tayimmiyah did have some elements of sufism. Some he later retracted his stance before he died like "twasul". You modern salafis however have taken "salaf" to new level and new approach. You attribute salaf to yourselves for the purpose of 'purifying' your sect. That's what it is. |
RABIUSHILE04:Your OP selection is shallow. Doesn't make sense at all. If you wish to criticize, fine but kindly do it scholarly way?. I dont blame you really. |
Johnydon22, burqa forced down your throat or your wife?. Weting concern your agbero with muslim women? |
lexiconkabir:You should just listen to the lecture. Here it is again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlUHVFn_C6Y The sheikh is of salafi manhaj and politely agrees Sahih hadith is not perfect unlike some who consider it error free. That's extreme. He cited example of contemporary scholar who criticized him for not putting certain ahadith in his sahih. And Imam Bukhari would adjust. This does not mean trashing the book of Bukhari. Also Sheik Adam (rohimahuAllah) have said similar thing about throwing out certain ahadith especially undefendable once. That's fair criticism. |
Nafizzey:Yoruba shuyuk are just the best that give this type of lectures. Where are you from? |
9jaforlife:Walaikum sallam. Alhamdulilah. I am fine. May Allah bless your hustle. She cooled off lately but she came by around Ramadan to cause trouble and was around for weeks before vanishing. May I know what your business is please? |
Ibnarabi4:ok. you probably want to know: how to quote people how to highlight how to apply color how to send message through this site, right? YES, you can. To quote someone, just click on 'quote' at the left corner and place your cursor at the end of the bracket and start typing your reply. Example,

If you need to highlight text, that is done two ways. Place your cursor at the beginning of the text to highlight and drag it to the end of it and then click on B at the top left corner. The other way is like this. Type at the left side of the text and tye at the right side. To apply color, do the same highlighting of the text and click on drop down menu "change color" to choose color you want. To send message to fellow nairaland, simply click on his or her moniker (username) and click on "send email to empire (for instance)". If moniker is available on nairaland, you will be able to type and send the message right away. But if the moniker is not available, you won't be able to type message but you will be able to send blank message and the receiver will be notified. Let me know if this is understandable |

Umar Ibn Khattab, a just ruler He implemented sharia on his own son Following is the extract from the book Islami Riyasat: Once his son, ‘Abd al-Raḥmān, drank and become inebriated. Later on, he presented himself before ‘Amr b. al-‘Āṣ, the governor of Egypt and confessed his crime. He requested the governor to sentence him to the prescribed punishment. ‘Amr b. al-‘Āṣ (rta) says: “I tried to dismiss ‘Abd al-Raḥmān after a little rebuke. But he insisted that if he was not sentenced according to the sharī‘ah, he would go back to Madīnah and complain before his father. I feared that if I let him go unpunished he would go directly to the caliph and report to him who would instantly dismiss me. This made me punish ‘Abd al-Raḥmān in my house. Later on he shaved his head off in a corner of my house. I did not inform the caliph about this issue. But after a few days later the following letter from the Caliph reached me. This is from the chief of the believers, servant of God, ‘Umar (rta) to the Sinner son of the Sinner. Your have baffled me by daring to break the promise. I believe you deserve removal from governorship. You dared to implement the punishment on ‘Abd al-Raḥmān in the yard of your house and to shave off his head under your roof. While you well know that this kind of leniency is not my attitude. ‘Abd al-Raḥmān was but one of your subjects. You were obliged to deal with him the way you deal with the ordinary subjects. But you have dealt with him considering him son of the Caliph. While you know that, with regards to justice, I do not show leniency to any. Now I order you to send ‘Abd al-Raḥmān instantly to Madīnah so that I can make him taste what he did. Amr b. al-‘Āṣ (rta) says: “Afterwards I sent ‘Abd al-Raḥmān to the Caliph and confessed that I had committed a great mistake by punishing Abd al-Raḥmān inside the walls of my house while I would not deal with other Muslims and the dhimmīs this way. I sent a written confession and ‘Abd al-Raḥmān under the custody of ‘Abd Allāh b. ‘Umar (rta).” Since ‘Abd al-Raḥmān was not allowed to use but a saddle on the back of his conveyance he could not move easily over his mount. When they reached Madīnah, ‘Abd al-Raḥmān b. ‘Awf (rta) tried to intercede with the Caliph. He requested the Caliph to forgive his son for he had already been punished. ‘Umar (rta) did not consider his requests. When ‘Abd al-Raḥmān (rta) saw the rage of his father, he cried and pleaded that he was unwell. He lamented that his father was about to kill him. It has been narrated that ‘‘Umar (rta) punished ‘Abd al-Raḥmān while he was still unwell. He was put in custody till he fell ill and died. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TF64AoeIno |
for some 8 years now you have been having this problem. This appears to be infection that attacks your immune. It is a type of bacterial infection involving Helicobacter pylori that could be caused by long time use of non prescription or prescription drugs. Either way, stop now and see a qualified doctor. You have a stomach sore(s). And you need to eat very often to aid healing. How do you feel really, like you feel full (gas) or what?. Extra Virgin pine nut oil have been proven to cure Gastric and duodenal ulcers. But it is always best you see doctor first to diagnose type of ulcer you maybe having. Health is wealth bro |
