While Clinton has baggage of her on, Trump still remains a far more worst mess than her, Why? Because he brought out the worst in people, when you breed extremism in people it becomes difficult to reign on it that is why we are seeing cases of Muslims being attacked without any provocation. .. whether he does what he intended or not, he has released the genie from the bottle and that in itself will prove horrible choice. Trump said the movement is global sorry what movement? A white crowd trying to cease their country from the rest of world pray Germany and France don't go that direction.

I am not object to everything you said here. But i feel like media stooped so low to have brought his past into this. As a top celebrity of his status, of course, one should expect "unholy activities" in his character. I was against him at out-start but when media decided to demonize him, i had no choice but to feel for him. Folks can protest all they want. Unfortunately, Trump is president and nothing can change that. However bear in mind that it is easy to for politicians to run their mouths during campaign. But once that is over, they usually change tune afterwards. Trump is already changing tune on building wall against Mexicans, he staying on Obamacare with exception contrary to his campaign slogan and his focus on economy. These are his 3 tops priorities. He appears to back down a little on debarring Muslims from entering the US. It is not easy thing to do what he campaigned against. Constitution is bigger than his head.

Anyways, who needs Mrs. Clinton in such a powerful office?. She belongs to the kitchen cheesy

Yup. To me, i have no problem with it. In some Arab countries, they kiss their elder's feet especially mother. But in Yoruba land, we dont. Perhaps, we abhor it. Now, someone who bends to kiss elder's feet has already prostrated which means prostration for ibada is what is haram. Also, Arabs kiss one anther as a form of greeting. Whether male to male, female to female or groom's father kissing bride etc. This is "embrace". It is a common practice amongst Arabs and White people. But in Yoruba, this is rubbish. Perhaps modern guys and ladies may do that out of fashion but it is not in yoruba culture. Hadith however frown upon embracing your fellow muslims when you meet. So are the Arabs ready to give up kissing one another when they meet?.Kissing is embrace. They hold each other's shoulders and kiss both sides of the cheeks.

It is easy for Arabs to condemn bowing to elders as we do bcus it is simply not int their culture to do so. Therefore, they need to keep to theirs and we ours. In the time of Sheikh Adam (ra) when this topic came up, someone gave Sheikh Adam shock knuckle (Fist bump). Sheikh was like "you sick or something" grin

So Allah created us that way and none of us prostrate to elders to worship them. Prostration that is forbidden is forehead touching the ground. Forehead is not suppose to touch the ground for anybody except Allah. Well, Trump is not a typical politician. He's not predictable at this time. But I feel he may disagree with mainstream Republicans. All in all, never take politicians serious until they get to work.

Personally, I wont be surprised if there is another "terror plot" as usual before or shortly after his inauguration. That would simply mean to test and shake up his administration's approach to such thing. Let's keep eyes out. It is gonna be rocky 4 years. As for Clinton, honestly, i did not support her either but not bcus she's female. What is so annoying right now is the way some Muslims act as if Clinton is savior. She's a big mess too.

Those killings you speak of are not being done in the name of Christianity. I've not heard or seen any American soldier shouting "Jesus is Lord!!" just before shooting a Muslim for being a Muslim. Even in wars were the west is partly to blame, the vast majority of the Muslims killed have bern killed by other Muslims rather than the Americans or NATO or Russia. You could say that muslims are killing muslims using weapons made by Christians. That's more accurate.

You should be better than this man. Invasion of Iraq was based on white lies. And all the coalition forces, if you google their leaders are all Christians. Common man, i do not expect them to shout christian slogans because they claimed they have "separation of church and state". But they wrote "in Jesus name on their weapons. They wrote "for God so love the world he gave his begotten son" on their weapons. They are too smart to shout christian slogan to avoid suspicion and backlash. What they did and still doing in that region is colonialism. PERIOD

You still dont get it. I am not concerned about witches. I am talking about killings on MACRO level as seen before and today. In those days they killed people with their cross signs showing their christian faith and they killed people in the name of God. Today, their mode of dressing has changed but they still pursing the same old agenda.

They are now in suit and tie but still killing for God while they hide behind "democracy". They killed millions of Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and still killing but hide their evil behind terrorism.

I found this 6 mins video of Sheikdom Adaby (ra). Yes, he doesnt support bowing as we do in Yoruba land. Matter of fact all 7 seven parts used to service Allah are not supposed to be used to service others. However, to be specific, he said " we are deceiving ourselves" in our greetings ways like i do ba le and ikunle. But he explained greeting as mentioned in Shari'a to stand and greet elders in a respectful manner not the way Western people do. That is the way you brothers preached. That's disrespectful. He said we'd better leave it bcus if you greet your father while standing you are inviting trouble grin

It is easy for Arab to reject Yoruba way of greeting elder bcus it is simply not in their culture. Same applies, Yoruba also abhor kissing chicks like Arabs do.

Finally, it gets complicated when another hadith doesnt forbids kissing feet. In order to do this, there is no way one is not gonna bow. So it all comes down to [size=15pt]niyah[/size]. In Yoruba land, we NEVER ever thought of worshiping elders when we greet them. May Allah make it easy for us but I am not gonna listen to non Yoruba to preach to me on this subject bcus they may never understand why we bow for elders.

Obviously, Sheik Albany (ra) is dealing with matn. Having gone through your post, it partially in line with Albaqir was saying. It confirms what Sheik Imran was saying. It confirms what I said before. Example was the hadith we treated recently that Allah created offspring of Adam White and Black. The White are for Janna and Black are for Hell. In the hadith, it say "I dont care" This phrase @bold has negative implication that Allah would speak like that and I alleged that it was most likely inserted but you disagreed. The hadith is sound as far a I am concern but the matn is wrong.

Another example is a hadith attributed to the Nabi (sallaAllahu alaiy wasalam) that 'when adhan is call people should go to the congregation in the masjid. As for those are are left behind in their home, I will burn them with fire'. I only paraphrased this hadith. You may have to check it out yourself. The hadith itself is sound but the matn is wrong.

Sufis in our time used different approach in accepting hadith from what I gathered. First, their focus is on ahadith that are beneficial. They do not worry much about those hearsays narrations even though they are graded sahih. For instance, hadith about drinking urine, monkeys flogged monkey who committed zina and the list goes on. These are irrelevant to muslims. Their focus is on ahadith that improve spiritual growth of muslims here and there. That's why, growing up, we did not hear those ridiculous ahadith like killing, drinking urine etc. bcus they are irrelevant to us in Yorubaland. But the Arabs have always kept these non beneficial narrations.

What we heard growing up in Africa in most cases are good stuff which means Sufis' approach was grading the hadith based on what is suitable and appropriate for TIME and PLACE. They used Quran as criteria to determine hadith which is noteworthy. Their science of hadith is determined by standard of Quran. Quran says that Nabi (saw) is a "mercy to the world." For this reason, [size=18pt]Sufis would most likely reject ahadith that speak ill or appears to speak negative about the prophet especially if it is dealing with fictitious story (history). Or they placed the hadith at the bottom (Mawḍūʻ). If a hadith is in harmony with Quran it is place at the top (Ṣaḥīḥ). If a hadith is neither in harmony nor in conflict with Quran they put it aside (Ḍaʻīf).[/size] The thing is, their general principle is "Science Of Hadith" as we know it did not come down from Allah or from the blessed lips of the prophet. Hence,activities that are benefiting to us like dua, dhikr etc come first along with common non tainted story. Anything else that have little or no value in our lives is either irrelevant or subject to reevaluation. This is why they are selective of hadith. That's why growing up, we only taught hadith like "La yuminu ahadukum ata yuibul akhii........". You would not hear things like nabi ordered a house be fire bombed.

But if you look at Saudi arena, it is other way around. They tried to defend most ahadith that have questionable history connection. By the way, Sufi were the majority of those who put together Kutub al-Sittah. It is now we see discrepancies where some ahadith have been expunged from Sahih and some irrelevant things are inserted.

So Sheik Albany trying to correct matn was exactly what Sheik Imran faulted in sahih hadith. He said in one of his books that there are ahadith in Sahih hadith that are fabricated. There are ahadith inside hadith (matn) that are fabricated (like Sheik Albany rightly did by correcting those phrases attributed to nabi) and also there ahadith that are sound and he gave his examples. I cited hadith above about setting house on fire. The hadith may be sound but its matn is questionable. This is one of the examples by Sheik Adam that explanation cannot correct some mawdu hadith. Sheik Albany tried to explain the hadith and he recounted his experience with a magician. At the end of his story he said he "felt like setting the magician on fire by following example of the prophet." Obviously, this type explanation breeds violence especially amongst shabab.

Finally, i am not the type that go about deliberately quoting hadith to find fault. I dont do that unless when it is absolutely necessary to do so. So basically, they use Quran as criteria to determine authenticity of hadith. Example is common statement by some muslims that nabi conquered the world through J!had (physical). Sufis reject this bcus Quran does not describe nabi (sallahAllahu alaiy wasalam)'s character by J!had. Allah described him as proper model for muslims and mankind.

Now i dont agree with this, you don't throw out hadeeth because they are "undefendable"(to you), if you see an hadeeth(even outside Bukhari and Muslim) graded sahih and you don't undertand it, if you don't have any academic/scholarly argument why the hadeeth should not be accepted, then ask those who know to explain it for you.

I have done this many times on hadeeth that sounded absurd at first to me.

This is statement attributedo to him. Of course not every hadith that sounds ridiculous is undefendable.

I have observed for some time that in where I live and work there are no moslem that are insane or mentally unbalanced. I have spent all my life in the Southern part of the nation. I have not visited the Northern part of Nigeria. The farthest I have been was Lagos.
So I want to know how moslem regard madness and why is it that all the moslem I have seen so far appear very sane.

"Mad" is a form of mental disorder in such a way that the person cannot do or say things properly, maybe rarely. Hence someone in that state of insanity does not have capacity to distinguish right and wrong or recognize consequences of his/her actions. Islam does not hold such people responsible until they return to normal. And if they should die in that state of insanity, their judgement lies with God.

The Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The Pen has been lifted from three: from the sleeper until he awakens, from the child until he reaches puberty and [size=16pt]from the insane person until he comes to his senses.”[/size] Narrated by Abu Dawood (4403).
